Why did you not use 2 FA with your mobile? An email can always be compromised, but your mobile is only in your hands.

By the way, I am sorry that it happened to you. 2 K are a big deal to almost everybody. I hope you make it back soon.

And thanks to your warning, hopefully some other people will be warned will not lose their money.

One advice to you, never use the same passwords for the pools for mining you are using, there are so many people that not even encrypt them and post them on their server, who knows what they are gonna do with them.

I never mined...

The accusations will start rolling in soon enough(there was already a post). We really need a PSA that mentions how to go about using different passwords and using proper 2 factor authy.

Ok its my fault, but how someone get that email? Cause i only use it in the exchanges... Its not a hotmail or gmail. I dont have troyanos in the pc cause all my another accounts are safe and my wallets to, so? How the hacker knows that e-mail and that it was used in cryptsy?

Get 2 factor authentication on your phone - each time you log in, you need to provide a new password you received via SMS. Very easy.

I agree that you can't accuse someone if you don't know. I just received today an email warning me to change my passwords cos there was a bunch of email addresses listed (fcame rom dogecoin).

did you have 2 factor authentication?

Yes i have but the e-mail was hacked to... Cryptsy must have like bter or other sites a autentification with 2 passwords, one for log in, and another for withdraw, also a ip check so if you dont authorize one ip you cant log in.

So you get your email hacked as well. What a coincidence, I am gonna guess the passwords were not the same exact thing  Roll Eyes

Get 2 factor authentication on your phone, or get an email without the password being "password1234". Obviously you just need to make sure your shit is in order before you accuse another of doing wrong.

Who is accusing?

Maybe 2000 USD its not to much money in Europe or USA, but here (Argentina) its the money of 6 months of work.

What was your password, how many signs?
Like only a word?

Any wallet that you download from an untrusted source could have a key logger in it.

I never download a wallet! I use the addresses of exchanges... Bter, Cryptsy and Coinex. The e-mail adress were only used to register in the exchanges. So the one who hackeds me, was someone in one exchange getting to the data bases or an admin. I allways used the same PC and i dont download things from here...

I can´t fucking believe this, i lost all my money, i lost something like 2.000 USD. I want to cry and im triying to contact someone on cryptsy, but not response at all.
