I don't know what will happen to him or how you are going to punish him later, but your husband deserve our respect after his courageous decision  Grin.

But how do you feel now after you discovered your husband opinion about you (a shit poster that doesn't deserve 1 merit /ps: your husband opinion not mine  Grin )

Some members would think that you fabricated this story if you can't post a link on who is your husband. I would just give you a benefit of the doubt and make my self believe that this whole scenario is true.

My first impression is that i am shock because it is you and your husband that is doing bounty hunting and if you don't have a regular job then it would be risky to just rely on here for the financial needs of your family. Though it could be profitable at times but somehow i would not recommend that you and your husband will make this job full time. You are like putting the future of your family on uncertainty.

Please can you deny your wife just 1 merit to rank up to Jr member?

Your husband just made a wise decision on not giving you a merit because it would be obvious that someone gives you merit on a topic that is not worth meriting for and that would make your husband's account on a limelight, DT will think that you are his farm account.

But i am also a believer of the saying "Happy wife, happy life". Guess, your husband's life now is not happy.  Grin

Maybe lose a few pounds?

My ignore list is pretty small.  Congrats on making the cut!

Well some got no wife and lots of fishes. Then they should put back the fishes back into the water and maybe stop fishing.

Well, if your story is true then I commend your husband. Your current status in real life will not be the same here in the forum. You must work hard for you to earn merit and don't use your real life status in order to get merit but if you are too desperate to earn merit, get the email and pass of the account of your husband but i would not suggest you to do it. It can cause a problem to you couple.

I would wait for your "constructive" post so that you can become a Jr. Member Smiley.

Asking for merital marital advice on Bitcointalk? Now I've seen it all.

I'd give you a merit for drawing the creeps into the daylight with this thread but your post history is such an eye-watering failure that I can't do that, sorry.

No wife - no problem. I don't know what I would in this situation because I don't have a wife.
Now, seriously. Maybe you can be angry at your husband, but I think that he doing right by not giving Merit to your account. Giving Merits to your family members, relatives and friends is just a Merit abuse. Why not to try get Merit in appropriate way - by making quality posts. It's not so difficult.

Likely a completely fabricated story, but I'll bite regardless.
Maybe a YES, maybe a NO. But for me it seems realistic so I'll bite too Grin.

Business is business, don't take it personally. What your husband did is right and you shouldn't be mad at him because he is just following the rules — not tolerating merit begging. Do you even realized that your husband refused to give you a merit probably because he knew that you are not yet deserving? Then ask yourself.

If I were you, I'll work on my own, only ask for guidance, and not mainly depend on my husband. Grow up Smiley.

But with the recent new rule in the forum, I was demoted back to newbie and I have asked my husband to send me some merit so I could rank up and continue my signature bounty, but he blatantly refused the request.
...

Well, let's take a look at some of your posts from before the meritocalypse two days ago:

Yeah sure, I really like NEO platform and I believe in the future it will go strong, though their network is not yet stable but once they fixed that I believe a lot of people will use their platform for their smart contract app because of the free gas.

yeah sure, eth is already making a bounce back already, last week the price was below $200 but now is above $200 and it shows that it's slowly bouncing back and if market should continue going well, it could go into $300 by next weekend.

Well my husband made me to join the cryptos, and the thought i had was to come and make more money as well because my husband has made a good money through cryptos before he got married to me, so i join so we could earn more, and buy our dream home.

Oh dear... we got ourselves a shitposter.

This is a cock and bull story. I can't believe this story for 50 BTC reward. You claim to have participated mostly in content writing but you have a chunk of 168 activities. I can guess the number of articles you must have written, obviously more than all the pages in this forum combined... Grin Please tell this story to kindergarten kids and tell your hubby to put you on ignore  Grin

Obviously you are looking for assurance that your original account will not be linked on that account and tagged as alt.

Ok I don't want to ruined the fun so I will pretend that I believed in your story. Remember that you are in an internet world so please take your personal problems somewhere.

WTF?  I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say her husband wouldn't want a midget anyway... especially a male midget.  Not sure where you're going with this but please stop now.

DMs have been disabled. I am busy.
Likely a completely fabricated story, but I'll bite regardless.

If I were a newbie in the unfortunate position of being so unbelievably lazy and lackluster that I couldn't even earn a single merit, then I would just give up on my dreams because clearly, I have about as much effort as a snail. Obviously, merit isn't the be all and end all of Bitcointalk, but it does show you are contributing something the community likes, and hence contributing to the cryptosphere in general. If you have nothing to contribute right now, learn, grow and come back stronger, but don't expect any merit in the meantime.

Who's your husband. That account deserves a merit somewhere I'm sure.

I feel so sad about it and have refused talking to him now,

I thought you were trying to punish him Huh

I respect your husband's decision and would do the same to my wife, mind you shed probably get banned for trolling or something anyways.

If you truly want to be a junior member just go out there and post, be helpful or contribute in some way. If you can't earn a merit that way you don't deserve the rank.

Just think of the real reason for it, it has nothing to do with the forum, it is because you spend too much time here researching crypto when you should be doing other things. Stop neglecting your husband and go back to being a good wife Wink

I would sit down with my wife, give her tips and advise on how to improve her forum experience. I will work with her very closely and will help her to make good posts. If she is curious and teachable then she will learn. She will make good posts then I will not have any issue to award her merit. In-fact, she won't need to depend on me, she will start getting merits from the forum members.

LOL  Yeah ok.  No one believes that bullshit.  The shit some of the higher ranks say to stimulate quality posts is so blatantly outrageous I think it hurts the stop the spam movement.

I think he's doing the right thing.  Don't be so hard on him.  If the tables were turned could you be subjective enough to gauge the quality of your husband's posts in this type of situation?

I think it's a lot like the ethics training I received at work; what constitutes a conflict of interest?  What would it look like from the perspective of an outside observer?  Could your husband justify his action and convince us that he does not have a conflict of interest by giving his wife merit?  Quite the opposite, your income (and therefor his indirect income) would be enough to claim he does indeed have a conflict of interest.
