Don't let anyone bring you down Hhampuz, you had the balls to create your own coin series and it turned out to be a great success, you should be proud of yourself! For what it's worth, I for one am a big fan of your coins and they always get a lot of likes and positive comments on my Instagram page! So please keep up the good work!

As for Fattcatt's reaction, they are just frustrated that you called them out on how they handled their sale, don't worry about that.

First and most important, I cannot give some real opinion about everybody in collectibles as i'm still pretty new here among you guys, what I do know is that Hhampuz is one of the guys around here that I really like always straight with me and makes no problem with anything thats been asked..., so how is it possible I have not seen any Hhampuz coin and i'm not having one??

"We ALL think it"...Not sure who she's talking about as I've yet to hear anyone say anything negative about your series, or even hint at it being a stolen/plagiarized idea.

"Be Your Own Bank" is certainly a popular BTC saying, and not something anyone owns. It's no different than people adding "Vires In Numeris" to their coins (which many have). I don't see it as anything more than a way to attack you and your reputation.

Because of everyone's opionon here it made me purchase one of these from hhampuz, to my understanding he doesn't have that many left :0

Be your own bank fits perfect on the coin and i like the designs. It is a slogan indeed and wildly used as you can see by this tweet.

That said, there's a reason I own multiple sets of the BYOB released, they're worthy of collecting

I said it before and I will say it again: I am impressed by the silver coin quality AND I really enjoy the BYOB theme you build around them. Already looking forward to add a 4th one to my current collection.
Also, regarding the plagiarism concerns: Artists copy and re-build and restructure old ideas all the time. I actually believe without it, there wouldn't be any progress at all - even the greatest artists "stole" and re-processed "old" ideas constantly (somtimes consciously, sometimes unconsciously). It's a totally natural part of any creative process and anyone stating otherwise just does not know much about them - but of course that's just my personal opinion.

That being said, don't waste too much energy on negative input - it will always be a part of life, but not worth paying too much attention to it.

I feel that you are worried about something that just is not the case!

People love your releases. You'd be made aware of it from multiple members if it was the contrary.

There will always be people with a critical view point, it's just how it is.

Hhampuz generally speaking not 100% of the people you encounter will like you, like what you do, etc.  Brush it off as some sort of backlash for some reason and walk past it.  Sounds like a vindictive comment to me.  To state "we talk about it and we ALL think it", I dont know what circles they run in but everyone I talk to like the coins you've put out.  I love them, they are clean af.  And one of the only makers on this board making coins with a theme behind it relevant to the btc/fiat difference.  Short of it is brush it off, I've bought each of your releases and plan on buying them going forward I like your line of coins.

Love your coins...one will always find naysayers no matter how good a product is. Even the great artist Michelangelo had been criticised when he made David as per the book by Irving Stone..in the Agony and the Ecstasy...I looked up the story on the net and I think its a good read for you. Cheers!

I thought your coins promoted bitcoin with a clear message, with a great entry level price and not gouged to high hell.

Buddy, Fattcatt's feedback shows as "Untrusted" for a reason.
Don't let yourself be derailed by people attacking you.
Given how high you fly, there is quite a few angles to get to you, and it's always easier to hurt people rather than pulling out fingers and do something constructive.

I don't want to analyze the fatty antisocial behavior further, ain't nobody got time for that, but they certainly are irritated by something you do or did, for whatever reason.
I believe if they were a bit less egocentric and agreed to let go auctioned items at not satisfactory prices for them, there wouldn't be so much drama.
In the end, they can only blame themselves because they ruined it all.
They didn't understand that it should be better to publicly apologize in Reputation, state they understood what happened and promise it won't happen again.
They still don't, since they resort to trashing people. That won't fix a thing.
Ultimately, it's up to them to decide if they want to fit in and respect the consensus or rules that is established, or don't respect it.
If they don't, well it's only them to blame, it means this place is not right for them.
Leaving feedbacks to warn other people that this user doesn't care about the set of rules that is established as a consensus is good, since different parties can't expect a "regular" trade with Fattcatt.

Now about Be Your Own Bank.
I think the project is cool.
BYOB stands for "Bring Your Own Bottle" initially, and I like how you turned that festive acronym to apply it to physical bitcoins.

We are in a such particular time and place (regarding crypto-currencies and the technology of money since the dawn of humanity as we know it).
I believe that any project today in this space is niche and should be encouraged. It has lots of potential and is much more important than what we perceive.

Sure, there will always be controversed artists but you cannot be appreciated by everybody and abide to your own sense of morality at the same time.

TL;DR : It's easy to break stuff and hurt people, not that easy to build something. Keep doing what you're doing. You are nailing it.

I like your coins. They are round but most coins are. Like you have started to load them.

Fattcatt probably frustrated and looking for something to tag you with. It is a disadvantage of the system that people make revenge.

Alright so I received this negative feedback from fattcatt yesterday:

"Took someone else's idea, "Be You Own Bank" and made a line of coins, calling them his own. Not creative enough to do something original like everyone else did. Plagiarizes and cashes in on it. Most of us have talked about it, we ALL think it, you seem to be the only one who thinks it's all right to do that sort of thing. Laughable. You're a joke."

I'd like to open this topic on this board to see if we could get a discussion going.. If anyone besides fattcatt feels this way I'd very much like to hear it as that is something that I'll take very personally to try and both improve myself and make sure never happens again.

Just for clarification, every design for the coins have been made up in my head and I've then explained a bit to a few people to get their opinions and then sent it to the mints designer to get a mockup of it. I've never used any images online to get any of the designs so I'm not sure if plagiarizing fits the bill. I was under the impression that "Be Your Own Bank" was sort of a slogan for doing crypto and never claimed I came up with it.

Would just like to hear your thoughts.
