BitChicksHusband, I agree with you about the round figures; I'd probably be happy to come out a bit before that.

BTC is more likely to hit $100 than $100k. Predictions based on greed usually don't turn out to be correct.

It is more likely to hit $100 sonner, but does not tell anything about where price will be in 5-10 years - probably more close to $100k I believe

If bitcoin hit $100, I would take out a $10,000 credit card loan and buy 100 more.  Then I would pay it back in a day when it went back to $200.

+1 same here

though the hardest part will be refraining from selling when it comes near (but doesn't touch) my target price. I've never been tempted to sell now, nor I won't be at 10-40K but if (and it's a big if) it gets to 50K, the temptation will sure be there then.

Just be aware.  Those round numbers have a habit of being major glass ceilings that are difficult to hit.

In fact, in April of last year, I could have hit $240 all morning no problem.  But $250 was a mere instant before $266 and virtually nobody got that price unless they were already there.

$1000 also took forever to break in November.

$100 Smiley in your dreams.

I must say I would be happy to buy 1BTC @$100 ... Tongue but ... those days are gone and not coming back.

This, everyone is talking about loss of support from China.. there is now large support from everywhere else.. I would buy 3 BTC if it touched $100 maybe more, it won't get there.. to many people in NA IMO that would buy when it hit sub $300.

If I can buy a good house with half of my coins then it's time to sell.
The other half of the coins will go for the $1M+ Cheesy

You and I sir on are on the same page.

I am in BTC for a house or bust,  I will HODL till zero, I am the ultimate bag holder..  better than a weak hand IMO.

people that try and manipulate the market for cheaper coins are greedy scum if you ask me.  I think 1500 is fair amount to aim for the next rally for sure even if it is a low estimate.

Wilfred disagrees! :]

100% agreed!

Greedy traders manipulating markets are a disease of BTC. Perhaps some of us can make a profit with them - when buying cheap coins. But indeed I must say ... they want too much for them. Let the price go high!

$1500 will be a bottom!

I was hoping for $100K until last week, when I bought some more, so now I only need it to hit around $65K to achieve my ambitions. Still tempted to buy more so that I'd only have to wait for $50K, but I'm quite heavily in as it is.

Wild guess... You had 10 BTC and bought 5 BTC and now have 15 BTC, you we're tempted to buy another 5 BTC Cheesy
