This just shows how other members in this forum are not getting the proper information about this new merit system from the admin thread, you are among the lucky group of hero members that have been credited with 500 more merits points by theymos out of goodwill. At the moment, you just need to increase your required activity and your account will be legendary.

Even if the merit system hadn't been implemented,you'd have become a legendary member at any random activity between 775-1030.
Do you even know how the merit system works? You have 1000 merits,even if no one gives you merit you can become a legendary member,activity is all that matters to become "legendary". Though I don't see why you're "disappointed" with it,there's hardly any difference between a hero and a legendary member.

I don't understand your post as you seem to have everything you need to rank up.
I was 4 activities away from eligibility, and now I need an extra 500 to have a chance,

Technically I was so close to becoming a Legendary Member (potentially) before the new Merit system came in. Whilst feeling a bit disappointed because I doubt I’ll ever rank up now I do think that it was good for the forum. There are/were so many shitposters about this place, most were low ranked.

I do embrace the new system & I hope in a few months that all the low quality posters have gone & we enjoy a much more constructive forum.

So like I said, whilst personally slightly disappointed I have to thank theymos for implementing the change.
