Op this I totally agree with you mostly in the area if the phrase of YouTube, for I realized has this YouTube help me to pass a course I was studying after reading without practical it was through YouTube I know the practical way if the thing.

Many felt that all thing is money but little money can make you achieve what might have cost you millions because of the use of internet, my brother use YouTube to learn forklift operator and when through interview and past without deriving the first time despite being a practical something.

What killed many today believing that every thing is tide down to too much money is ignorance, the level of knowledge and exposure you gather can facilitate shifting you to another level of life .

The believe that the internet is currupted and failed to utilize it good nature due to ignorance, why some is course by misplaced priority such as only social media chart and watch of nude or pornography.

Productive means cheaper way of doing such thing and yeah I have applied this for many times now , it may not in technological but in real life physically .
like when I am doing house works that i need not to pay laborer because I use google and youtube to learn what to do and to not spend more .

After all it's all a matter of how you truly want it. You can buy $1000 course and slack off. Well yes being in a paid subscription is an advantage because most of the time it comes with a community and mentorship along the way and that will speed up your learning or profit curve. I would say, Youtube have a great benefit of supplementing knowledge of thing you already know or those within reach of your curiosity. But if the network that is you are looking for or  guidance, then find a person that are already successful on the field that you want to pursue and learn from them. Interact with them. Because it's not about the knowledge that you are paying, it should be the experience, network, the mindset, and behavior that you want to get.

That's right, it is a very precious resource that everyone has. Rich and poor have the same 24 hours and there is the difference on how we're spending it.

The rich people are leveraging their money so that they use other people's time. While us, employees, we sell our time for service and they pay us with money.

Them, they pay money so they can buy our time. Being productive depends on what kind of person you are but we all want to make use of our time worthwhile.

Well, we are in AI era and we don't know how long it will take to complete the AGI which eliminate the need of human involvement and start solving problem on its own.

Productivity is very important in any business. Many fail to perform as planned at work or cannot demonstrate the required productivity. When you have too many important tasks at hand the pace of work can be disrupted. Because you may be confused about which task to do first. It takes a lot of time to make decisions before starting work the solution in this case may be to prioritize work.

I'm pretty productive at work, and it doesn't cost me anything. Rather, the boss pays me.

AI is one of the most popular tools nowadays that helps us easier things that in the past is almost impossible but with the help of artificial intelligence ? we are now facing easier life and shorter in time consumption .

Yes If we want to be more productive we have to give time to ourselves while learning Multi-Skills and this thing will make our worth, make poolish and groom us all we need is just focus on the self abilities i mean if we feel we can have to ability to learn multi skills we should start to learn it rather than wasting time on useless thing we should focus on learning skills and in the later time it will really worth us. Multi-skills will help us to survive easily in the race of life as we have multiple talents to fight against situations.

Well in my opinion, we need not invest much money in learning so many things as these days we can find easily so much desired and helpful material on social media like YouTube there we can find the Playlist of courses we want to learn we should make it cost-effective I mean if our problem can be solved throughout YouTube why should we give money to any institution to teach us? These days really want to focus not much money on learning skills, So dedicate your time to learning multiple things rather than wasting time on useless things what do you say about it?

That is why we need to utilize and use or grab these opportunities especially what has been offered from the technological advancements because if we just ignore it and do not explore it's usefulness and benefits to our lives then we won't become productive instead we may become stuck.

2nd, it is full of fantasy, as the data the software learns from is full with fantasy (at best) so is the learned software.
3rd, you need a heck of time to check the output and you need to know what you are checking.

Obviously people can pick up skills that will make them richer in the future if they can spend a lot of time on it. Like for example AI is such a big deal right now and there is a new job called "AI prompt engineer", and if you learn that and be great at it, then you are going to be able to actually make some money from it, not going to be all that easy but can happen.

This is why I believe that the best thing we can do right now would be just making sure that we are not involved with something useless and just spending every ounce of time we have efficiently. If you learn something that can make some money then you are going to be fine and the results you are going to have will be fine as well. That's what you should consider.

Education is clearly very important in life and perhaps everyone in some countries also requires their citizens to go to school. So it cannot be denied that if someone has undergone a level of education, he will be formed into a human being who has a broad mindset to create great work. I think a person's creativity will also be formed due to the right mindset, so that it will make it easier for them to carry out activities. So I agree that education should not be abandoned.

You sure did set the tone straight with this post and for those of us who feel discouraged sometimes because we feel our effort in learning something new or upgrading on the knowledge we already have is too much work and commitment.
The worst is having close people and family call out one for learning something online because they feel it's a waste of time and then criticize until one abandons the effort to improve.

I think being productive will require one to be selfish with their time, attention, money and become more secretive so that others don't spoil the good thing going on until it is time to reveal the knowledge.

YouTube has helped a lot of us including me get hold of information that may require a professional opinion and I also like the fact that  our network providers sometimes will give out free bonuses of YouTube subscriptions just so the customer can have an advantage of learning anything on YouTube for cheaper data rates than before. Am speaking from what's happening in my country, I don't know about yours and their tolerance for YouTube videos.

Are we underestimating the traditional education or the ones learnt while doing it practically? No doubt YouTube has emerged as a very good platform for us where we can learn new skills and the existing skills as well but there are other platforms as well and guess who are these YouTubers teaching you skills? They are the ones who learn from practical and from institutes so let's not miss out on the importance of traditional education.

Nothing is actually easy and simple at seems and no matter how we try to make it look cheap to acquire, money must be involved. Aside time is the most valuable thing and you'll need to dedicate it, you need to equipped yourself with good tools in order to succeed. Moreover, we should not neglect the fact that not everyone can be creator. The industry will become non profitable if everyone is creator and there is no ordinary users. Some make it online while others make it offline, it just depends on which you focus on. What's more important is in your last paragraph, making good use of your time is very vital.

The creator are pursuing ends meet too and without that there is no point of creating them if they teach it for free. No knowledge is free. You're right wtvall being said but that doesn't mean persons who embraces the fun side of it that doesn't yield them incomes are wasting their times for all I know is that there are times for everything, time to dedicated and get focused to execute your goals and a time of leisure to fell among and have some funs.
Just as mentioned content creators and all that, if everyone using the internet would have to rely on the potential income of it, then there's no just audience to patronize those who Invests on making money out of it.
This is so we don't find those who're just having funs in the internet wasting their times but what matters is if are those having their times spent in the internet do have something worth doing for source of income other than just comfortable being there in the internet just for funs.
You can also ask yourself that how would the world be if everyone becomes equally rich, who'll do tje agriculture produces and how do we rich out to things we can't do by ourselves?

The internet is a blessing to this generation because through it people can perform tasks more effectively and also have jobs that'll earn them incomes, there are many skills to learn on the internet, some for a small amounts while others are for free. The internet is creating uncountable jobs and information for people everyday, people can enroll in online courses and learn skills that they can make money with, without even attending university. YouTube is a big blessing of the internet, a lady friend in my neighborhood started making different types of snacks for sale, and I asked her when she attended a catering school, and she told me that she learnt it for free on the internet. Despite the fact that scammers are many on the internet to scam people, the internet still remains the best thing that happened to this generation.

In a world that social media is now the money generator due to the advertisement that was supposed to be on television but now redirected to social media many people change their life by just creating a content people really like even the content is no effort for them because they are just showing their usual lifestyle.

There’s a lot of rich people in my country that is just an influencer and even just a kid is possible now to become a young millionaire by just creating a unique content that people like. I like your closing remark that people should invest on time wisely since there’s a lot of people that keep working on job that has very low pay grade while they are working hard. The end result is that many business owners just lower the pay grade in general since many people keeps accepting a job even on low salary.

That’s why an influencer, content creator and streamers is now the most highest paid job now even though they have less time on work due to the salary grade value which the social media platform value them.

Becoming productive?

a. You have to invest in yourself - you can used Youtube for that to learn new skills and research what skills are in right now, like digital marketing or video editor.
b. You really need to have a goal. It might be very hard in the beginning, if you're laser focus then you can achieved your dreams.
c. Perhaps you have the money, then there's nothing wrong with spending. At least invest as well and buy things that you need, not that you want. For example, you might invest on a good laptop if your side hustle is video editing.

I have to admit that I do agree, Youtube is brilliant for finding out how to do little DIY fixes at home. I’ve saved myself loads of money by figuring out how to do things like changing taps, laying tiles in the kitchen, fixing door handles when the screw holes are stripped. It’s invaluable, especially during this cost of living crisis.

Yes, the internet helped a lot when it comes to sharing information and promoting/selling goods and services. However, I don't think that most people are using social media/internet in a productive way. Youtube and other social media platforms are filled with shitty content, and many people are simply wasting their time by binge watching shitty Youtube videos or cringe TikTok videos. How do you measure the productivity of a social media influencer or online course seller? I have a different view about productivity of labor. A baker that bakes 1000 breads a way is productive. Some random female TikTok influencer posting 10 short videos a day shouldn't be called productive.

When you hear from people who became successful before the invention of the internet, they will always call the present generation lucky. These individuals worked very hard to become successful because everything was done manually.  They had to travel from place to place to promote their products. They also had to spend so much resources on advertisements and others. Today a simple content on social media can make one a millionaire without much stress or much financial resources. A single viral content is enough to make someone rich.

However, some young people don't want to be creative, or productive, and are not willing to learn. They want to get rich quickly without putting in any positive effort. That is why we are having an increase in criminal activities such as scams and others. I usually advise young people to learn a skill, keep on developing it, and be patient and consistent. 

Artificial intelligence is now an important technological tool that can be integrated into any profession. Some tasks can be performed easily and faster with the help of AI tools so it is now important for workers to learn how to use these tools to become more productive. It will not be out of place to encourage people to learn about artificial intelligence.

i agree with you that paid ones are not always bad, in fact i could say that there are good things to studying with paid ones (only if you can afford it). usually paid ones provide more focused material and participants/students can even get direct experience from teachers/mentors and that can help them to develop well. so if someone can afford to go to school or attend seminars, then that is a good thing to attend, because they can get various things which can help them learn better.

There's no knowledge that's free, you must pay with your time, seriousness and eventually your money. For a serious learner he or she wouldn't be after free sources of learning a skill because the premium knowledge patterning that skill won't be giving to you as it would have if it's a paid one. Areas of teaching will be selective because it's a free skill acquisition program and can't be compared to that which you invest in with money to be taught. It is for this course that it's plausible to say people shouldn't depend just on free skill acquisition onlineor offline if the money is available spend it on the knowledge you have interest for and you will be a masterclass rather than a surface level person in that field.

Even though Youtube can be a place for you to get a new skill that you're searching for, don't underestimate the paid ones.

School isn't scam, they already help you when you were young until now, where you can use your brain to think what to do's and don'ts.

Private class, paid seminar, paid consultation etc aren't scam, instead of exploring into Youtube and choosing the contents, those skilled people can help you to point out what's the thing you're looking for and help you to understand.

You are right. It has been extremely easy to acquire new skills through the use of internet. During the covid19 pandemic, as the world came to a halt the internet has showed how we could utilize it to our advantage. But the thing is not everyone still has devices and internet. The rich people would still have a slighter edge than those not so privileged ones but it is still nice that there is now an option that could be used to make something out of oneself.

I still think that money is always needed in almost everything these days. Even if you acquire new skills through the internet, you would have still need to invest and actually practice the skills you have learned whatever that may be. The bottomline here is that while the internet has reduced the amount of money you would need to spend on just to become productive we can not deny that spending money is still inevitable.

In as much as the world has gone digital and it's now easier to get money online by doing content creation and other remote jobs that have attractive pays, let's not allow it to blind us to other physical sectors that are at the centre of driving our economy positively. The truth is that if every one goes into doing remote jobs, then with time robots will possibly take over most of our jobs. We need to have individuals also that are passionate about the agricultural sector and are ready to pay the price of learning the real art of farming.

Technology is good and obviously plays a great role in easing up the kind of jobs we do and helps a lot to reduce the stress associated with those jobs we can't depend on remotely done jobs alone. We've got to create a balance such that while we are learning some skills online, we are also making it a necessity to add to it other offline skills that will make our society complete. We can't do effective carpentry work in YouTube, and medicine can't follow suit. Real engineers will need to learn so many things on site and those that intend to go into the agricultural sector which I'm so much particular about will have to get some fundamental knowledge on the YouTube and other E learning platforms and at the end of the day go to the main farming site to carry out the real farming.

most of the knowledges are available and most certainly not limited to only youtube basically you want to be an SWE you can easily learn documentation of certain programming language, i guess there are plenty of skills out there can be learned with the same approach just like being an SWE.
but of course with it there's also disadvantage, if you're concerned about building career through a company being self taught getting job might pose difficulty since they usually approach the old way of requiring degree from university but being entrepreneur you might stumble a ton of opportunities that a self taught learner can take advantage of.
basically like offering services for certain job as a freelancer you might find yourself more opportunity also more earning potential if you are diligent enough.

AI aside from the negatives mentioned by some people in many medias, have been a huge help in many thing and I do agree leveraging the use of AI will put us advantageous.

You should also not underestimate the power of Artificial Intelligence, because it is a great new tool to help you to learn a new skill.

It is also a new tool that will chamge the world as we know it, because most basic tasks will be replaced by AI based technologies and people need to know how to use it to their advantage.

YouTube is not only the medium to learn new skills. There are many other platforms that appeals to the interest of people. You'd be surprise to learn that there are people who do not use YouTube.

Ok. At the beginning of your learning where you need to learn the fundamentals, Free Online resources will serve as an invaluable tool. But after about two  three months when you start to progress from beginner level to intermediate level, what you will naturally observe is that the freebies are not enough to progress to the next level. At this point, you would need to invest some little dollars to get some premium, an upgraded software, tool or whatever it is you need to advance.

In life, most of the time success can easily be achieved when you've got some money because it will enable you to make diverse investments that would increase your income generating network but however, it's not every skill that necessarily requires so much money before you can become productive.
