First loan repaid early; unfortunately, none of the investors left feedback.

Doing a similar loan again:

Will still return 10%; but this time over 3 months (to demonstrate not just BTC income, but also trust- and creditworthiness).

Thanks to all who choose to participate in this experiment with me.

Good luck to you then. Seems kind of supicious though.

I can see why you'd feel that way, and I guess you're not wrong to distrust an unknown entity such as myself.

That's why I a.) fed BTCjam with more personal info than many here would be comfortable with, and b.) offered a very lucrative percentage/timeframe on this.

I don't expect to win the entire forum over by paying off one loan, but it'll be a step in the right direction.

My drivers license and utility bill (ID & address) are pending verification @ BTCjam. If you have any other advice as to steps I could take to become more trustworthy (other than "establish good repayment history", obv), I'm listening.

well, someone bought the remaining 88% this morning.  Shocked

many thanks if this is a bitcointalk user, and you're reading this.

as stated earlier; repayment will be handled through BTCJam's automated system.

with only 3 investors on this loan, i may need to do this again next month to earn sufficient feedback; will update this thread if so.

Welcome. I'm a bit of a newb also.

I did read a post somewhere that the trust system was not exactly up to par yet. I think we all start out negative.

looks like we all start at 0 to me? i've never posted before this thread anyway, only lurked since January as you can see from my profile.

hopefully i get some trust points here as well as rep at BTCjam after payout. Smiley

No offence, and nothing personal, but this sounds like bullshit to me. A long con.

Trust: -4: -1 / +1(0)
Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

Whatever you say man  Wink

The +1 is from me, you must not understand how the trust system works - the -1 wasn't actually from someone who was scammed.

1. 6 weeks is "long"? do you have a terminal disease or something?

2. can you give me some feedback as to why you feel that way, given that i've exposed a LOT of personal information to BTCJam in order to secure this loan? do you really think i want to get hounded by phone calls, texts, emails, and facebook messages for *one* bitcoin?

i've been pretty transparent as to my motive and method here.

hey all. long-time lurker, need to finally go active so i guess it's time to post something.

if any of you are BTCJam users, i've got a rep-builder loan for 1btc funding at this time.

the capital from this loan will not be used for anything, this is just to build reputation.

i have more than enough liquid output from my existing mining operation to pay the 10% interest.

put bluntly: i am spending .1BTC to buy reputation on BTCJam; anyone who wants to help fund my loan will get 10% over 6 weeks.

i've verified several forms of identity on that site (so you will receive them if i default on the loan; i don't want that).

https://btcjam.com/listings/5249

buy-ins appreciated; am available for any questions/feedback.
