If you are in a hurry you can use localbitcoins.com, I'm sure people 'll be lining up if you undercut everybody else.
well not in a hurry, but just looking for a solid way to get coins out or so... I last withdrew in 2011 where the MtGox => Dwolla => Paypal method worked now, but it seems like there's barriers everywhere

gah so confused... I see other exchanges out there like coinbase? Would it be easier to just get my USD that way?

Use Dwolla although it is slow. That might change once Dwolla finalizes merger with Coinlab.

Yeah the fees are a pain but what the hell.
i can wait a few days I suppose, but what's the standard way of getting money out of MtGox now? And perhaps some help would be what should I be using in the future because I probably screwed up this time.
