You can mine Monero or Bytecoin with that processor as it is still a strong one in Cpu mining. As for that Gpu it is really old now and I have not seen a good compatible miner to give you good profit but you can try Nicehash or some other relevant miner.

I am basically a beginner. A while ago I set up a miner for Digibyte, just for kicks. Now I want to mine something that will give lots and LOTS of coins, disregarding value. My set up is AMD r9 280x and my CPU is 4790k or something like that(Cant remeember).
Any suggestions are welcome.
