The OP author should consider to upgrade OP with several following things:
1) Available courses on Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology from colleges and Universities (made by tranthidung).
2) Webistes/ Blogs on crypto mining (for miners)
For instance:
Whattomine.com
Cryptomining-blog.com

I'm starting to use coinbase because they are far sighted enough to support Sterling. The last thing I want to do is to have to convert fiat payments into the failing Euro, and the US dollar is a bit volatile at the moment.

I tried a different website than the one posted up here! Maybe it could help someone! It's the best way I found to buy bitcoin with credit card. Actually bought some and everything went well!

edit: I tried again to buy XRP and Ethereum and it's still work like a charm!

Wonderful list! I would add Cryptopia to the trading/exchanges list as they have many of the new and obscure coins.

I would remove coinbase from the list. Don't support those corrupt people. Coinbase wants to see bitcoin fail. They hold back improvements like segwit and thus contributing to the large fees and long wait times, yet they use this to complain about bitcoin in the media without doing anything to improve it. They are invested more in Altcoins and would profit if bitcoin falls.
Yeah... because all the alts are doing soooooo well with the recent decline in BTC value! Roll Eyes

Also, if they're so Anti-SegWit... care to explain this: https://blog.coinbase.com/announcing-segwit-support-on-coinbase-4e51117857c7

Sure it took them a while, but that's probably because a. they wanted to make sure that SegWit was actually working and there was uptake... and b. they wanted to take the time to implement it properly and make sure everything was working as intended.

Unlike the average user and their one wallet... it is a little bit harder for an organisation the size of CoinBase to migrate to new wallets... can you imagine the shitstorm that would have happened if they had rushed a SegWit solution to market that didn't work properly and people lost funds?

I would remove coinbase from the list. Don't support those corrupt people. Coinbase wants to see bitcoin fail. Again don't support coinbase!

Otherwise thanks for the list! Perfect for newbies.

Removed Coinbase because of this. Good call.
