It all depends what your are here for to be honest.
If you are here to chat about coins join in on the discussion forums.
If you like mining or want to find out more about it there is a wealth of information in the mining sub forums for both bitcoin and altcoins.
If you are here to earn crypto, check out the altcoin airdrop and bounty section.

The forums are pretty self explanatory to be honest, and when using this forum you will get as much benefit as the effort you put in. The first thing I would suggest is to just join the conversation and get your opinion across and if you need help with anything, ask.

You really don't necessarily need to follow specific people in the crypto-space to learn. You just need to research a lot, and to make sure what you're reading is correct/legitimate, do more research on that specific topic that you're reading. Also, reading from different sources is also better due to you being exposed to different kinds of opinions.

A good start would be to stick to the Beginners & Help section. In addition, you must do your own due diligence and be no stranger to reading.
