<…> You can still be in active signature campaign and still making your contribution productive there by reducing the stigma melted on bounty hunters
There may be some correlation to how one is in real life. Being on the forum with a skin provided by bearing an anonymity sheet around oneself is no excuse for creating shitty content, vomiting cheap words onto the keyboard in order to comply with campaign quotas … but it does allow one to do it, often at no expense, and with the appeal of being able to invest little personal time into it.
Likely, many of the anonymity sheet covered low quality posters, do not proceed that way in their day to day, but having no real known social circle to judge them, lets them play along in the cheapest way possible. On the other hand, those with high personal standards will likely invest a fair share of time into their posts, being it more aligned to their way of being, regardless of the anonymity provided by the forum.
Of course other factors will weigh-in, specially for those where posting here is considered a “job”. Job-posters will try to take as many “jobs” as they can simultaneously (minijobs?), and whilst in real life one would try to avoid looking bad, here the anonymity sheet works against us as a collective and let’s a poop trail qualify the same as Shakespearean written posts.
I would therefore blame the campaign managers in second instance for awarding literature Noble Prices with disregard to the content being produced (with only a few well known exceptions around). First instance responsibility is always upon oneself…
