【What is class action litigation platform “enjin”?】
Hello.
This time, I will explain what the “class jurisdictional platform enjin（https://enjin-classaction.com/）” that BENGOSHI COIN can use.
We have launched class action platform “enjin” to realize “the world where all victims are saved”.
We released the product in 21/5/2019, since that day many lawyers and victims are using our platform.
We are going to describe what is “enjin” first, then who can use what kind of function on ”enjin”. Also going to explain what kind of functionality going to be implemented by introducing blockchain technology on our platform.
１What is enjin
Japan’s first class action platform, enjin, is a platform to connect people deceived by fraud or malicious enterprise and lawyer who can solve the dispute and save them.
If the damage is less than 300,000 Yen, this kind of victims are categorized as “small damaged victim”. For them, asking for lawyer costs more than they were deceived. Thus, they cannot use lawyer, so only one option left is giving up with frustration.
Our platform gather these small damaged victims and form a group of victims, then cost per person will be reduced.
At the same time, from the lawyer’s perspective, grouping could increase the operational cost because the number of client increase, but it means that if we can compress the operational cost, there is no difference between standard 1 on 1 cases.
Therefore, “enjin” provide tools to compress the operational cost. By using these tools, lawyer can accept cases which they wanted to help but due to the cost they have refused.
As these shows, enjin focus on Realizing “The world all victims are saved”. To archive this goal we are going to make Victim relief easier and also correct the distortion caused by recent judicial reforms.
２What can be done with “enjin”
For these background “enjin” has and going to implement below functions. We explicitly show which function is going to be implemented in future. These functions are going to be the tool to realize “The world all victims are saved”.
【Function①：Launch new law suit】
To help people suffering from fraud, they can register the case on enjin as a “New Law Suit”. Victims only has to write the outline of the case and then the case can easily be a project and ask for support. The system is like a cloud funding site, projects looking for fund raising collect fund from people, as well as on enjin projects raise not money but “victims” by sharing the case. This can reduce the Lawyer fee per person dramatically.
【Function②：”Participate” in new law suit】
Person who were deceived by the same fraud on the platform can participate in the class action, without taking any special communication measure, by just clicking the “participate” button. Currently in Japan, since the image of “Lawyer” is very difficult and people think they have nothing to do with lawyer, lawyer is not familiar for people and they rarely access to lawyer.
However, this makes difficult to form a group of victims, and enjoy the merit of cost reduction per person.
To make participation easy for people, we make it possible to get into the project only by clicking a button and write a minimum required contents.
This will make it easy for victims to form a group and enable lawyers to help more victims.
【Function③：Bulletin board for everyone】
Some victims do not want to “participate” in the law suit immediately, but check how the others are doing.
Thus, to take care those victims we make a place names “Bulletin board for everyone” on enjin. Victims can post a comment like, “I was deceived by a company names ●●, is there anyone else who were deceived by this company”. Then other victims can start a conversation like, “Me too”, or “Let’s fight together to get back our fund.”, then gradually this will realize the formation of class action.
Moreover, one more reason making a Bulletin board for everyone is that as it will be categorized as Consumer Generated Media (CGM), it will help enjin’s SEO and increase the possibility of being listed on the first page of google search result, when someone search the word “Class action”, “●● fraud”,
and so on. This will help us reach to as many victims as possible.
【Function④：Lawyer Registration】
Without lawyer it is impossible to start a class action, so we have a function for lawyers to register and use enjin. To encourage them to use enjin, we make the registration process as easy as possible and prepared a mechanism to undertake class actions. To provide an environment for victims to ask for help in relief, we take a measure to prevent spoofing.
【Function⑤：Lawyer Q＆A】
On enjin, anyone can ask questions regard to class action and other legal questions to lawyers and they will answer your question. By providing this Q&A function, we can make victims relieved and make them feel easy to join the class action. Furthermore, same as the Bulletin board, lawyer Q&A will be categorized as CGM, so it will help our SEO and make us easier to find.
【Function⑥：Tip】（※Coming soon）
As a way to reduce the cost of class action and visualize the feeling to support and appreciate lawyers and victims, enjin is going to implement a Tip function using a crypto currency names Bengoshi (Lawyer) Coin. Through the use cases of Bengoshi (Lawyer) Coin listed below, cycle of Tip starts and more victims are saved. 【Function⑦：Tool to facilitate class action litigation affairs and communication】（※Coming soon）
We are going to implement a tool to compress communication cost between lawyer and huge number of victims and between lawyers.
One of the reasons why class actions have not so far been practiced in the real world is the lack of Lawyer-side manpower enough to endure communication costs with victims. Even with one-to-one communication is hard from the lawyer’s perspective, no need to mention in the case if it becomes a one-to-N relationship, it cannot be dealt very well with the manpower of a regular law firm. Thus, to realize “The world where all victims are saved”, we have to provide a system dramatically reduce the Lawyer-side communication cost. For example E-contract5, chat tool to communicate with victims at once, and facilitate the date management for documents and evidences. Also, sometimes a lawyer is not enough to deal with the case, thus they have to form a defense council. In this case, they need an inside communication tool. By implementing these tool on enjin, more victims are going to use, lawyers can easily process these kind of cases and supporters can feel free to support. Establishment of this trinity can realize the relief of victims.

In Japan some victims of fraud or malicious enterprise are not judiciary saved, because damage amount per person is smaller than Lawyer fee. This kind of small damage amounts to 16 trillion yen. Thus, we decided to launch enjin and give access to lawyer for every victim and realize the “Justice”.
Our product “enjin” has already released on 21th May and having a huge attention from victims and lawyers.
Since our platform is going to deal with a sensitive topic “Class Action”, our member is talented in legal field; CEO is a lawyer, a member responsibled for sales strategy, new business and marketing in Bengo4.com, Inc and Person belonging to Accounting Institution Association who worked for, one of the big4 auditing firm, Deloitte.
Also, in order to accelerate our product “enjin” to save every victims, our company Class Action Co, Ltd accepted a total amount of 60 million yen as seed investment from a famous Silicon Valley Venture Capital 500startups（Managing partner：James Riney）and other angel investors（※Nikkei released an article on 21th May 2018）.
We welcomed Motomitsu Nakagawa who is the leading lawyer of class action in Japan, as our General Counsel. Furthermore, Mizuguchi CEO, from famous investment fund which has crypto currency fund, CYBRiDGE Group and a practitioner faculty member who is professional in blockchain and AI joined our project as an adviser. Thus, we have already got investment from VC, having talented member and advisories and already launched a product, we are neither a scam project nor dreamer project.

First of all, CEO of "BENGOSHI COIN"
I will introduce about Bumpei Izawa.
He aimed to pass the Japanese judicial exam with the feeling of "I would like to help the victim", and then passed the exam.
