Here in Spain I thing that it's worth 1070 if you find it at good price, personally I like 1080Ti, nvidia always have better temperatures but all depend the price if you can get a card that cost you let's say 50% more but give you a 70% more profit I'll buy these but you have to keep in mind that more gpu or more watts you need you 'll need to buy extra hardware

1070Ti will be a good choice if you can get it, More powerful than VEGA 64 / 1080Ti on ETHASH, also good in Neoscrypt and good enough on other algorithms. Cheaper than 1080Ti.

nVidia cards are very easy to set up for near optimal performance and require only about 1 hour to fine tune a rig of 6 cards. A 6 card AMD rig will require over 6 hours of time to fine tune and get stable after flashing BIOS.

Having said that, my AMD cards are currently earning 5x the rate of their nVidia counterparts on a $ basis - they just excel when tweaked.

This last December run has seen nVidia outsell AMD for mining.

I agree AMD are more fiddly but the good part is that its fairly easy to find roms both here and on YouTube from people have had done the hard work for you. Provided you watch the model and memory there's not too many problems in using someone elses modded bios.

1070ti ! --> can mine all coins well, lower power, very good hash, good cooling (i have Zotacs Amps), 1 PCI-E Versions available

not more to say.

I have all Nvidias and this is the best.

2.  1060 3GB

3. 1080ti

Is it a problem that they have 8gb of ram instead of 12 or 16?

I don't necessarily care about how fast I can earn the $$ for the cards back, I want to try to get a few 1000 of a bunch and hope some of them go up to $1-10.

You could even pick up some really cheap r570's or 580's and run some of the bios mods.  I have my 570's drawing 88 watts each mining cryptonight algo at 740 h/s each, or 25-26 mh/s on eth.  Only have 2 though, but they were only $200 3 months ago.  May be cheaper now.

Buy whatever you can find cheaper so it will ROI quicker they are both great cards. I would slightly favour the Nvidia cards just for resale if that helps

I was wondering your thoughts if you were going to buy 2 or 3 Video Cards for mining.

Would you buy 2 1080ti's or 2 Vega 64's?  Or should

According to Whattomine,

2 Vega64's you'd make $15 a day mining Sumokoin (Currently 1.77 coins a day) or $9.54 a day Ethereum (Currently .0084 coins a day)

2 1080ti's you'd make $16 a day mining Verge (Currently 94 coins a day) or $8.35 a day Ethereum (Currently .0073 coins a day)

Am I missing a card(s) ?  Should I consider 3 1070s instead?
