this very much depends on the type of crypto project. you will not represent the Defi project or NFT and faucet or news site in the same way.
I would definitely suggest to you all types of social media. That is the media where you communicate directly with potential users of the services of your project. For example, Bitcointalk (there are a couple more very active forums) or Twitter. but not just to write generic messages, but to actively participate in communication with the rest of the audience.
I think the time has passed when someone will just click on the banner, visit your site and based on that stay with the project. Even if you buying a car or house, you want to see what is inside and want to hear what the seller has to say, before you make a decision.

Hello, you have mentioned a good point about using several marketing tools and working hard on the advertising strategy, and building trust in the service or the product. The load of different projects nowadays is enormously high, and each project tries to grab the attention of the user. A lot of marketers think just using a single instrument will bring the clients, deposits and etc. BUT, you should really consider the sales funnels and work with all the layers. Thus, you work with the banner, Press Releases, social media channels, emails, content, etc. Effective analysis of each tool will compose a clear vision of what channel performs better and warms up the decision making process.

The forum is the best place for those who want to start a marketing campaign without paying a lot of money, and then you should do a study to determine what the target group is, for example:

 - If you are looking for traders then advertising on sites like CMC[1] will be helpful.
 - If you are looking for people who use your coins then Twitter is the best place.
 - For other crypto services then crypto news sites like Cointelegraph[2] will be useful.

The first thing to consider is why you're picking an advertising network in the first place. If it's about action/download/lead/sale/subscribe, you'll need to carefully select an advertising network by doing a thorough test that includes A/B split testing, cross-channel promotions, CPM, and so on.

AdBit, A-Ads, Bitmedia, CoinMedia, CoinTraffic, Coinzilla, and Mellow Ads are just a few of the crypto advertising networks available. Crypto payments are accepted by all networks.

However, users of crypto ad networks have some restrictions when it comes to audience targeting. Normal advertising networks, on the other hand, provide you with far more control over your ad schedule, pricing, and frequency.

what are the best advertiser networks for crypto projects?
Depending on its type [e.g. aggregator, faucet and etc...] and its status [e.g. new or established], it differs from case to case, but the following thread might come in handy: List of Advertising Networks
Note: You can't view its content with an ad blocker and I prefer to not vouch!

For new crypto projects, I'd suggest directly selling ad spaces to other similar platforms instead [most efficient route].

Advertising depends on your project. Advertising isn't just limited to banner ads. Coinzila is a solution for banner ads. But proper solution and guidelines you have to assign marketing managers who will work to fund appropriate places for advertisement. If you share what kind of project you want to advertise then you would get a better solution. I have worked with a couple of crypto projects, so if you need help you may reach me with more details.

Hi,

what are the best advertiser networks for crypto projects?
As pretty much all of the major platforms prohibit or restrict advertising, i was looking for other platforms.
But seems like everywhere targeting is really limited.

Has anyone experiences/good networks?

Thanks
