Hi,

I am making a coin that I want to get picked up by a target group that is not necessarily the readers of this forum.

I am thinking of a coin payout that grows over time before tapering to ensure ppl can get coins even after it has launched relatively easily for the first year and then will taper off.

Something like this:
block payout = 2^N where N = the number of the day for the first year.

after 1 year block payout would reverse.
block payout = 2^(365-N)

Then I need to figure out transaction costs to keep the network running.

I know this creates strange incentives to not mine upfront, but I am not targeting this coin at bitcointalk users, I am targeting hobbyists and widespread adoption. I am intentionally making it unattractive to those that would throw a ton of power at it the first week so they can mine and dump.

Most likely the coin will be cpu only or some other method to encourage standard users instead of professional miners/traders.

Where is the best place to discuss these ideas with others?
