In my opinion Ethereum is most stable and easy to use for regular transaction. Neo is also one of the fastest blockchain with no fees and Litecoin is considered as one of the lowest fees transactions. But Ethereum is very well know and trusted among all, so a lot of users prefer Ethereum blockchain.

Do you use any altcoin for regular transactions? Which one?

I want to know which alt is best when it comes to regular transactions?
It needs to have two major features: Quick transactions and small fees.
So which one is best at that according to you?

I think ethereum is a good coin which is very suitable for regular transactions. It is giving trust and I think the transaction time is really reasonable mainly.

Ethereum platform is a more advanced project that allows to create smart contracts and tokens. It outweighs everything!!! Now we see how this market is growing (smart contracts). And only that currency that has the support of smart contracts has a future.

in my opinion i like ETC(fast transaction and low commision), LTC (same propereties) XVG and XRP -too. This is good altcoins for fast transaction every day. Also u can use ETH but sometimes you can waiting for transaction for 3-5 hours if some network problems. I liked  all this altcoins because they  have USDT pair

One of the cheapest transaction fee is Litecoin and Monero. You can also use ripple because it is fast compared to other that i mentioned. There are many alternative altcoin that has zeor fee transaction but the value may change anytime so better watch the chart if it is going upward or downward.

I think a way to offset the Gas you pay with ETH is to find a good exchange to trade your tokens on.  Radar Relay, radarrelay.com, has no transaction fees since they are still in beta so it's helpful for some of the ERC20 tokens that I trade.

I'd still go with ETH since it has already a well established trust and system. Aside from Eth, I think Litecoin is also promising sincec  it has a great group behind it who continuously innovate means so that consumers will have convenience in using the coin.

My personal experience, I can send millions of dollars in doge for a very small fee using doge. you will only be charged a transaction fee of 5 doge only. cheers

I really think that DogeCoin would be the top layer of market products and services payments in the near future because Indeed that DogeCoin offer very low or the lowest transaction fee.
I really feel that DogeCoin will come out in the near future because Ripple had a; ready been on the market and as being the top Altcoin today.
Ripple and Dogecoin offers lightning fast transaction speed and lowest transaction fee on sending between wallets.

Then I suggest you use NEO, because the transfer speed of NEO is very fast, and the transfer fee of NEO is 0, NEO is suitable for the regular trading of altcoin, because ETH is sometimes too crowded,This is a good substitute.

I heard about NEO, I am NEO holder but I don't use it too often but I know NEO is one of the fastest when it comes into transaction speed between wallets but for me I only experience the speed of Ripple and Dogecoin, seems like only the internet issue should be considered to fasten up the transaction speed.
Well, I know there are aso much more Altcoins a that offers top speed transactions but for me Ripple and Dogecoin is better than the other Top Altcoins in the market and surely they could handle stress and day to day transactions like market products and services.

I haven't use Altcoins to any regular transactions but I suppose what you mean is the Altcoin that can do day to day transactions like payments for products, goods and services in the market.
If that so then there are only two that came out on my mind that is Ripple and Dogecoin because these two coins are lightning fast when we consider the transaction speed between wallets and Yes, they won't face any delay and every transaction will on the other wallet after hitting that send button.
I know that there are so many Altcoins that are also lightning fast transaction speed but I really do appreciate these two coins that they are indeed fast.

The best coin would be litecoin, and there is an upcoming upgrade which will give most of these small vendors to use litecoin as payment it is called litepay it was created because bitpay doesnt want to add litecoin in their services, which is why litecoin team and its founder charlie lee will launche their own payment system using litecoin.

I think the best altcoin for transactions in all major markets with very high trading volumes such as Bittrex and HitBTC you can use DOGE for faster and cheaper transactions between markets that are proven to be cost-effective and DOGE is currently very stable.

There are many coins for fast transaction like Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Doge etc.
But i think Doge coin has faster transaction rate with lower fees then compare to other coins.
But later on all transactions depends upon in which currency second party wants.
If we do transaction for us then doge coin is best.

Ethereum is more popular as a coin of exchange to any transactions, like when you transfer coins from one wallet to another, and paying for bills. And this is what i use. Though the price depends on what kind of service you want to avail. But it is really reliable.

i think ETH or ethereum wil be good for crypto transaction
But, about fee.... that is flexible..
i mean, if price pump absolustly fee will be up...
If you are really looking for one right now, Ethereum may not actually be the top on the list.
For me, I still prefer making use of LTC for regular transactions, pretty fast without any hassle. Not like BTC that you will have to wait sometimes a whole day to get a transaction done even for a high fee, but I know we will get there anyway when it would become a thing of the past.

For regular transaction, I have been making use of LTC and ETH in particular and I have been using dogecoin too to do some tipping.

Although, since the recent surge in the congestion of Ethereum network, I have come to just stick with LTC for now as that coin is just pretty fast when it comes to transactions. For now, as long as it is good enough for me, I am just going to stick with it until otherwise.

The fastest and most convenient for the transaction of LTC. I compared with ETH, XRP, ETH and etc. It turned out faster and more profitable. So now, to bring the cryptocurrency into Fiat or for translations into other exchanges, I will use LTC

Basing on the trend that some of my friends are also commonly using. I believe it's ethereum. I don't know why but it's the usual they use. Are there any suggestions that someone know of what is good to use in simple transactions? Though it's obvious that there are a lot of altcoins that is easy to use, there are just people who prefer certain one from the one for certain reasons we may not know.

For transferring you want speed and low fees and acceptance.

So for those qualities Dash, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

BCH doesn't have much acceptance yet, in stores , but will very soon.

Bitcoin is now a store of value and not usable as a currency.
Thank the core team and Blockstream for that

In my opinion, the best altcoins for low transactions is Ethereum and bitcoin cash  and the fees on them is very acceptable ( $ 0.4 for ETH and $ 0 for BCH ) . Although for these two currencies the price  developed a lot  in the  last period .
In fact, the best choice is to hold  and to invest a big quantity  of these altcoins because the prices  will be more progress in the near future .

i dont really use altcoin for regular transaction but if im going to recomend you then id say litecoin , dogeccoin and bitcoincash are much suitable when doing regular transactions because those coins were just fast and also have the lowest tranasaction fees when compared to some other coins out there.  in a nutshell, etherium is not really recomended as an alternative to bitcoin because eth lately has also facing a major problem just like on bitcoin on which the etherium network has suffered from a heavy traffic  due to those cryptokitties.

When you say regular transactions do you mean to other users, or to buy stuff as well? If you to use to purchase stuff, I'm afraid there the option is not very large, because most merchants don't accept crypto. They were accepting bitcoin, bu since the transaction are high, they have been removing it as an option, but are not replacing that option for any other coin. Just take steam for example, they've removed bitcoin as a payment method, but they didn't replace it for another coin.

If you just want it as a way to transfer money to other users, then there are several options out there, and I think you just need to check if they are listed in several exchanges. Litecoin is a great option, because it's even listed on coinbase, so you have a cheap way to transfer money between almost every exchange out there. I would keep my eyes on dash as well, and if IOTA get's listed on more exchanges, it could be a great option as well, since it has no fees at all.

Interesting question...

My all time favourite coin is Doge coin. If I am not trading in BTC then I am trading in Doge because the transactions are fast and fee is less. Doge went down to 17 sats couple of months back and then came back strong. I am sure people who stock Doge coins are happy now.

If it is no Doge then my other bet is LTC. These are the only alt that i use for daily transactions.

Have a pleasant day. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

ETH and ETC has faster confirmation and also very low fee, because their price is quite volatile I just exchange my bitcoin for etc or eth and than withdraw it out from the exchange to use later on and save those heavy fees with bitcoin withdrawal.

I am also holding both coins because there is still lots of room for them to grow.
ETH! Not anymore. If you did use ETH during the previous congestion, and while you have to use a high fee to get it done, and then you will know that it is a history to make use of ETH for very fast transactions unless you of course increase the transaction fee. I still prefer making use of Litecoin for now anyway, knowing that I can at least get my transactions done within few minutes and that is fast enough.

I think so far I think altcoin is good for a recurring transaction is ethereum because in addition to ethereun is easy to use, ethereum is also famous with its cost to low then with ethereum also already known by the public and easily accepted from all walks of life. so you better use the ethereum for recurring transaction because it will facilitate your transaction if altcoin is already known.

I know that DOGE have fast transactions and small fees. They are convenient to send between exchanges, especially when there are interruptions in the network of bitcoin and ethereum. And yet I was recently surprised at the speed of the Ripple transaction-30 seconds from the purse to the stock exchange! wow!
Doge has really been good enough for tipping anyway most especially when it comes to a little amount and then a very low transaction fee. However, for regular transaction, I have always preferred Litecoin.

Some time ago(before pump) I used to send IOTA from one wallet to another. The transaction was so fast, despite the transaction was send from the exchange. 1 minute or less(!) took the transaction time. And IOTA is free, so no comission. But right after the pump I decided to make another transaction - and I was waiting for two days. If there was a problem and they solve it, I think IOTA will be the best crypto for fast transactions and micropayments

The obvious choices are Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash and there may be others. If you look at the small cap coins, almost any will do it, because they don't have huge traffic currently, but you don't know if this will be the case is there usage increases or if their teams just abandon them one day.
We have the same opinion its because of transaction fees of bitcoin now a days, its too high that sometimes most of the funds go to this fees.

Only problem is that its not listed on main exchanges, as the dev qas to busy actually finishing his product and making sure its top notch, before anything else  Grin

NEM will be the king, but really any altcoin your exchange supports that has low fees will work.  Bitcoin with $15 fees doesn't even make sense for websites that take it as payment. I'd insist  they offer some altcoin with lower transaction fees if I'm going to pay with cryptos, or I'll at some point see which alts have those debit card things you can use and maybe get one of them.

As bitcoin is falling these days, almost every alt coin would move up.. ripple and dash coins showing good variations for day trading. But in mean time you better buy some ETH and hodl. ETH is in its way to moon. Never be late.. Invest now itself. But keep in mind, btc is falling these days.. So you better pay your attention on some good alt coins.. I recommend you to buy some eth and hold for few months.. Eth is on its way to moon after dropping for about 6 months.. Ripple and dash are good for day trading..

Ripple has a global payments network and at 3.5 second mark allows for very fast transfers at minimal fees.
Ethereum follows next at 14 second mark, its self executing smart contracts reduce operational costs and streamline business processes
Litecoin at 2.5 mins also has faster transaction times and lower fees
Dash allows instant anonymous transactions with lower fees than bitcoin

I find myself mostly using Ethereum. That is not because Ethereum has fantastic speed or a low transaction cost but because it is the most widely accepted.

I use Ethereum almost everyday for trading, participating in ICO and other needs. Even though the transaction fee has grown due to the blockchain load it's still the most convinient coin for daily usage.

As many have stated I believe the answer is LTC, Dash, or Ripple out of the big ones. Out of those 3 Ripple probably has the highest chance to increase dramatically in value given the recent spike with Dash and LTC. So buy holding Ripple to do transactions with you are also putting yourself into a position to potentially make a good amount of cash just from holding on to it. I would vote Ripple right now due to those reasons listed above.

Very simple ethereum or litecoin, you can buy, withdraw and deposit mostly everywhere with much lower fees than bitcoin.
As suggested most of the time high volume transaction makers prefer ethereum when there is delay in the confirmation of bitcoin transaction. In recent days ethereum too experienced a network congestion which slowed the confirmation. Things got rectified in a short providing faster access.

Do you use any altcoin for regular transactions? Which one?

I want to know which alt is best when it comes to regular transactions?
It needs to have two major features: Quick transactions and small fees.
So which one is best at that according to you?
Like always there is not a clear answer to this, when it comes to speed of transactions and the fees in my opinion dogecoin cannot be beaten, the problem with dogecoin is that there are not a lot of places where you can use it, litecoin is not as fast but litecoin is a lot more accepted than dogecoin, so if you want the fastest speed choose doge but if you want to not have problems with the acceptance of the coin then pick LTC.

Most altcoins are not much more than just bitcoins, changing only 1-2 minor characteristics, for example, the speed of coin transaction in the network, the method of coin distribution, or the mining algorithm. Most of these coins do not live for a long time. The only exception is Litecoin, because it was created as one of the first altcoins. Compared to Bitcoin, litecoin has a different mining algorithm and a much larger number of coins.

I know that DOGE have fast transactions and small fees. They are convenient to send between exchanges, especially when there are interruptions in the network of bitcoin and ethereum. And yet I was recently surprised at the speed of the Ripple transaction-30 seconds from the purse to the stock exchange! wow!

Litecoin and Ehhereum (at least before cryprokitties) seems to be the best ones. Besides the fast confirmation and low fees they are accepted by sellers wider than the other cryptocurrencies. BCH scamcoin is only accepted by the ones who is directly connected to attacks on BTC and the other shady things.

Now Ripple or Litecoin is often used as a transport coin. But, in connection with the fact that these coins have grown in value, I think that we will have to find something else.

Looking at your profile I can see you have been around here for quite some time, so I guess you're familiair with Bitcoin? Then Litecoin is the perfect altcoin for you, it's quite identical to Bitcoin but not overpopulated. Sending them works exactly the same as Bitcoin, only difference is the the address prefix you're sending your coins to. Litecoin's transactions time are very fast, never got any problems like Bitcoin does and the fees are negligible.

Dogecoin is one best choices for such transactions. It is fast and its fees are really small. Exchanges also receive very low amounts when you are withdrawing dogecoin. Dogecoin fee usually does not exceeds 2 dogecoin which is equivalent to only 1.2 cents.

Ethereum was also good. But now transactions fee has increased due to busy network. If Ethereum network goes back to normal, it is a good choice.

ETHEREUM is best for regular transactions because Its charges is very reasonable and quick confirmation of transactions.

When you have a lot of transactions on Ethereum, they can pass only the next day.

The fastest and cheapest coins for transfer are certainly Steem and SBD. There is no fees for the transfers at all and they are well known coins. Litecoin is another great option. It has mainly survived till now because of this cheap and fast transfer only. And then in most popular coins, ETH is a good option (usually). But yes, currently fees are higher than normal but very less in comparison to Bitcoin!!

It primarily depends on the platform and what the other party accepts. I often use LTC or ETH but this is not always possible.
But sometimes it is simply necessary to send BTC then I have to calculate with the most favorable transaction fee.

There are hundreds of Alt-coins that have Quicker truncations and for a little to none fee. But since the other party has to except the currency you can choose the ones in the Top ten from Coinmarketcap excluding Bitcoin. There is Ripple, Dash, LTC, which are highly recommended and almost instant.

Since Bitcoin Cash is also gaining a lot of momentum these days and implemented at Shops, Markets it would also be a good option. Also they claim to be the real Bitcoin.

The obvious choices are Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash and there may be others. If you look at the small cap coins, almost any will do it, because they don't have huge traffic currently, but you don't know if this will be the case is there usage increases or if their teams just abandon them one day.
