Really?
Just google "Scrypt miner"
Zeusminer and some other sites will pop right up. They release new hardware fairly quickly.
I don't get why you have to make a new topic that is easily answerable.

This is best answered here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0  it will get moved by the rules . Smiley .

and for 40 bucks you wont get much Polly need to spend more like 150 $ to do what seems worth while.

but 40 might get you one  grindseed for learning with everything you need to mine with it, but a PI  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gridseed-ASIC-Scrypt-SHA-256-USB-Dual-BTC-LTC-Miner-Silver-Gold-USB-Cable-/111769039180?hash=item1a05f4314c there is not much out there at that price that will do much more then a CPU can .

it does both sha256 and Scrypt coins aka alt coins .

Over the years I've mined plenty of SHA-256 coins, but I've never really got into Scrypt since I only have a laptop and, well, obviously mining on a laptop is bad.  Of course it would just be cheaper to buy Scrypt coins right now than mine them, but that's not fun.  So what I'm wondering is, what would be the best budget Scrypt miner?  I'm looking to stay in the $40 range.  It looks like right now the best I can get is a Gridseed or two for that price, but I thought I'd ask in case there's a miner I haven't heard of.
