Topic: Best ATI driver for 5 GPU setup (on windows 7) HD7950, 11.12? (Read 1118 times)
I am trying to run 5 GPU in win 7 x64 and cannot get the 5th gpu to run. I am currently running 13.4...any suggestions? 4 runs great but the 5th says no driver installed in device manager??
I heard the 12.x series drivers don't support more than 4 GPUs in windows, the 11.12 series does, and i've tried the 13.1 and 13.3 beta drivers and upon boot one of the cards would go "problem with this device" status in device manager, whichever was the 5th.
I've got everything running great at ~575 kh/s / GPU, 5x GPU with 11.12 and Win 7, APP SDK 2.8 and cgminer 2.13.3.
I tried to get this all up in linux (centos) instead but had minimal luck and couldnt get it pushed past 300kh/s each.
tldr; what's the best ATi driver for more than 4 GPUs? Im surprised this functionality was removed in 12.x+, why?
