What really happened to JD? It was sudden. Anyone from here if they settled all their payments and debts before they close the site?

You would have heard if we didn't...

The site is still open for the remaining people to withdraw their balances. In future I would require a withdrawal address before giving deposit addresses - it's silly how some people still didn't withdraw after the site ceased operations over 2 months ago.

maybe they send tip for you  Grin

If this vote is still active please consider adding Direct Dice. Thank you.

OP hasn't logged in back since last December.
I don't think the poll is still active and I don't think OP will come back to update it.

And secondly, if OP was still active, JD would've been removed from the poll.

It appears Canadian tax laws changed suddenly.

why 999dice not include to list nomination? Grin

Because:

a) it's a scam?

or

b) it didn't exist when this poll was made?

You decide.

You set your desired odds and then your bet amount and then it shows the result and the winning number. So pretty much, yes.
I checked it out - it is really more of a raffle or lottery setup and slow pace (compared to dice).  I don't think it belongs in this poll.

House edge is 1.9%. Max payout per bet is 25 BTC (See http://bitbattle.me/bets/).
That a tough sell when 3 of the games above have a house edge of 1% (primedice, Just-Dice and coinroll.it)
Well, it's a different experience. With bitbattle.me you don't need to deposit - there is no intermediate step necessary. So the betting is more direct, while still avoiding most of the blockchain bloat produced by SDice. And you get immediate feedback on your transaction. And there is multiplayer. And detailed statistics per user and per site. And much more! Grin

Go hash yourself!
You are right though, in fact one can argue that gambling on sports is not even true gambling.  It is possible to make educated guesses on who will win which of course is why different teams have different odds.

I think people like dice due to its simpicity and the speed at which you can make bets.  I personally perfer blackjack and poker myself.

But in fact you are getting an inferior service and potentially using a website with a poor interface and/or security. Not even saying this as an administrator of a live roulette website but I would much rather bet on real life events rather than a bunch of dorks hashing each others hashes in someones basement.

Insanity dice is probably fair.

Anyway I didn't really vote, I honestly don't see the fun in gambling with dice, seems rather boring to me. I much rather place a wager on a boxing match or something and cheer through the whole thing, same thing with football, I don't even watch it, never played it but I'd sure as hell cheer for the team I placed my bet on  Tongue

By popular demand, I added Insanity Dice.  The edge is 20%, there is no website interface (just send bitcoin to the operator who has no reputation) and it is not provably fair at all.  If you send them your bitcoins, you are provably an idiot.  Still, here it is, player beware.

Too good a job for players it seems, the house is in a deep hole.  Unsure whether it just a whale with luck and overly liberal site parameters on his side or the server compromised

Just massive swings from people betting big (plenty of max-profit bets that won and lost). The bankroll made several 1000+ BTC swings yesterday, both up and down. With just 1% house edge, it'll take some time for that kind of variance to settle down.

Curious to see everyone's opinion over which dice game is the best for players overall.  That means not just lowest site edge, but also max payout, convenience of use, provably fair and how verifable that claim is, interface, speed of bets, security and so forth.  If I left one out, please let me know and I'll add it.
