It's quite another thing if his shill for this specific mixer has something to do with scam accusations that are quietly emerging.

Judging by the fact that this user posted it as a referral link, I think it's just someone looking to make a quick buck.

Why are you posting links? Are you crazy? That is a bannable offence. I suggest removing it immediately.

Newbie with 5 posts, it certainly doesn't matter much to him whether he will be banned. At the same time, it is very possible that he does not even know about the ban on linking mixer services on this forum. He's not crazy, he's just uninformed and he should not be blamed for that.

From what I've seen and used, YoMix Bitcoin Mixer is my favorite choice. What makes YoMix my go-to is the simplicity of their service and the quick transaction times. Low fees, fast transactions, and easy to-use interface.

Just use monero. It is basically a mixer built in crypto currency. I don’t even understand how mixers can still find customers while monero exists.
There are a lot of 'routes' to take if you want to use monero to obfuscate the origin of your coins, first you have to send BTC to a p2p exchange, trade your BTC for xmr and withdraw xmr to your own self custodial wallet, preferably in different batches of varying amounts and also at different times. After sometime, how long depends on you, you send xmr to a different p2p exchange and convert it for BTC and withdraw to your wallet, doing it in this way will give you a strong level of privacy.

However, mixers provide more convenience that what i just explained above, you simply deposit your BTC into the one-time deposit address created for you, and receive the coins in your receiving address, take note that you can also break the coins into batches using mixers and also set different receiving times, but it is all with a few clicks and it is more convenient for a lot of people.

I think that theymos' idea is to exclude any advertising or recommendation of a mixer and it doesn't need to be a link. The rule, like any rule, must have loopholes that someone will try to exploit.
Trying to exploit the loopholes by playing around with the word filters is also against the mixer ban rules, so one shouldn't do that to be on the safe side.

For example, this post, in my opinion, is not in line with the mixer-ban rule, but it is still there and I see it as a kind of promotion without the link or even writing the full domain name. maybe no one reported it
You mean this thread and not my post that you quoted, right? The question and the OP's intentions aren't according to the new rules. But the replies of other users and the flow of communication is, so I think it's ok.

I think I read somewhere that you can mention the name of the mixer, but you cannot include a link, just mention the name.
That might work sometimes, other times it won't. Theymos has applied word filters to known associations with mixing services. But I don't know if those filters apply only to URLs or any mention of such mixers and similar combinations. Anyways, if you mentioned a banned word, the forum's settings will change it to show "banned service" or something along those lines.

I would also advise you to do away with the thought of mixers here as it has already been  banned my the administrator of the platform earlier mentioned members here.

Yes, promotion of mixers isn't allowed anymore but that doesn't mean we can't still discuss about them. We can even mention their names, but not their URL addresses.

In that case allow me to report that I have used Anonymixer and Whir successfully. I preferred Whir due to lower costs (a straight 1% across the board and cleaner, easier to use format}. I of course sent smaller amounts through before I trusted them with larger amounts.

It is important to use mempool.space to know when miners fees are lower.

Any mixer promotion and mixer offer is now prohibited here, so you probably won't get adequate answers.
Why would answers to questions like what are good mixers depend on whether people are advertising them in their signatures or not?
Because it's a project where trust is the most important, right?

Trust is the key word here. You wouldn't trust 1xbit even if 4 dozen people were advertising it on their signatures. But in general, it is the mixers that people have had a good experience with previously that you would end up using.

Just be careful when you are posting about mixers. The forum restricts mixers from here, and we can't prefer anything related to mixers.
Has any account been banned before?
I think I read somewhere that you can mention the name of the mixer, but you cannot include a link, just mention the name. Simply mentioning the name may lead you to end up using a phishing link, so with the current restrictions, the forum is not an appropriate place to talk about mixers.

As far as I know, nobody has posted any mixer links, so there haven't been any bans as of now. Of course that could change.

Why would answers to questions like what are good mixers depend on whether people are advertising them in their signatures or not?

I didn't mention signatures, but promotion in general. OP asked, "I was just wondering if there is a bitcoin mixer that is considered reliable and safe to use?"

So, the answer following the rules of the forum would be something like: I suggest [banned service] because of the low fees and they've been pretty reliable so far, at least based on personal experience. But also [banned service] or for example [banned service] have a good reputation and provide good support.

But, can altcoinstalks to be used as one of trusted source to judge the trustworthiness of a project? not every users will agree.

It seems that everything is at the beginning there. I hope that the critical number of users who will have enough strength to give a real evaluation of a service can be gathered. For now, we're a long way from that.

When they promotes their project in this forum, they need to spend money which is not small since they're competing against other campaigns and this forum is the best place to know how someone else reputation, unlike trustpilot etc where the comments might be a bot or competitor.

There's a chance proven scam mixers run a campaign, but in this forum we can check the account's feedback and flag.

I was just wondering if there is a bitcoin mixer that is considered reliable and safe to use? Is there a mixer that is the goto of most of the members here on the forum? Thanks.
You won't get any further discussion about the mixer because the forum has been banned since the beginning of the year, above it has been mentioned that the mixer has moved in its advertising in the altcoinstalks forum you can go there and start a discussion asking for his opinion because the mixer is now a lot there.

Any questions will be answered there.

We are done with such services on this forum and I think you should think twice as well since our reasons are obvious. I also suspect this question as bate which is why I advise people on this forum to be careful in answering them to avoid infractions of the admin. However, if you have genuine intentions, I think you can still use the services of Monero and Bitcoin together to achieve your goal. That's even better and safer if your money is clean.

If you can creatively use those services together, believe me, your privacy is still intact.

Just be careful when you are posting about mixers. The forum restricts mixers from here, and we can't prefer anything related to mixers. You have to find it yourself. On the other hand, if you are using centralised exchanges like Binance, you may face issues receiving mixed funds there. They can find the connection between your funds and mixers. If so, they might freeze your account with funds. So make sure you are mixing your coins in a safe way.

There are Bitcoin mixers you could use but we cannot give any recommendations about them here anymore because it's no more allowed to advertise anything on mixers here anymore, but the referral I will suggest for you is to go to altcoinstalks.com forum and got to their bitcoin service board, there you could see a lot of bitcoin mixers having their service advertisment and you could from there select your preferred choice among them.

The forum has banned its members from linking to mixers, so you have to do some of the research yourself. I would not say there is a 'best BTC mixer', we see different mixers come into the forum, they start doing well initially, but they are either shut down by the government or they make an exit scam with customers money. So you have to make the choice yourself from the list of BTC mixers that has been linked above.

CoinJoin implementation is a self custodial way to achieve privacy, and when you use it you don't have to lose custody of your coins like you do with BTC mixers. You can also achieve privacy by moving BTC to xmr and back to BTC.

All mixers have been banned from the Bitcointalk forum. You can find the reason and more about everything here Mixers to be banned. Any mixer promotion and mixer offer is now prohibited here, so you probably won't get adequate answers.
For more information, you can look https://bitmixlist.org/
Or an open discussion on another forum https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=315215.0 Most mixers have moved their ANN discussions to the Altt forum, so if you have questions, it's probably best to do it there.
