Thanks again guys! Very kind of you.

I have decided to buy a hardware wallet. So I will only use the trading/exchange websites to buy the coins and then transfer them to the hardware wallet.

Does this sound ok? What websites offer the option of transferring the coins to my wallet immediately after buying the coins?

Thanks again!

Hi,

I just started my Bitcoin adventure and wanted to buy some in a trustworthy website.

The problem is all the ones I see (coinbase, blockchain, etc.) are full of bad reviews in Trustpilot, etc. and many people argue mainly about poor responsiveness of support, bitcoins blocked, not being able to buy/withdraw, etc.

Would you guys please recommend me some websites based on your own experiences please?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Bad reviews are common in any companies including those exchanges as users problem really happened everytime. But on the other side, there is an advantage too when using them which you can actually verified if you will try to used them.

Well as far as the all answers is concerned, I think you got the answer now. If I read these earlier, I would suggest Coinbase as most of the countries are supported. Just remember that used them only for buying purposes and not as a storage.

What do you mean by just buying them? I guess you need to leave them in your balance so they grow in price and then sell them, right? What would your other option be? Buy them, move them to another place and then sell them? Sorry for these newb questions Tongue

I guess what goinmerry meant was that you should used Coinbase just for buying or trading bitcoin and not used it as storage of all your bitcoin because you don't have control of your private keys. Another issue with exchanges is that if they are hacked, most likely your coins are gone. So you need to have a wallet that you can totally control and fully secured like Electrum and Bitcoin core. So just used exchanges for your trading activity and just leave enough funds and transfer most of your coins to your secured wallet.

You can consider Paymium if you want to buy using SEPA transfer or bank card. As you are from Spain you can top up your account with a SEPA transfer. Paymium doesn't ask any verification ID up to 2500$€ (buy/sell/trade included together) Kraken was fine but you can have a long delay, so I don't know if you' are in hurry. I use Paymium myself and no problem, I can't say top notch support as I never need anything lol. But I know they are kind with people

BTC in last few years many bitcoin websites are trying to attract the new bitcoin users.most famous bitcoin websites are Block chain,FreeBitco,BitcoinTalk,Coinbase,BTC-E,CoinDesk.

I prefer to buy Bitcoins from a local exchange of my country. Maybe you can ask to people of your country who deals with Bitcoins what trusted exchange there is where you live and they recommend. Doing this I can skip fees, as I make a bank transaction from my account to their account, both using the same bank, so there isn't fees. Only after when I need to use fiat to buy Bitcoins on the site I need to pay some fees.

Coinbase is fine but try localbitcoins and either use the escrow or find someone locally to buy for cash in person. What country are you in because there are different exchanges which may be better suited to you.

You could also use the Currency exchange board here. Just make sure to use a trusted escrow.

Spain. Thanks for the tips guys.

Just googled and found this in Spain that may be of help:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/new-spanish-exchange-converts-bitcoin-fiat-currencies-7000-atms/

Quote
HolyTransaction Trade is a new universal cryptocurrency wallet in Spain that enables bitcoin and Euro instant conversions. Within Spain’s 7,000 ATMs, a person can convert their bitcoin into fiat currencies and vice versa, helping to push the country into the digital world

Cannot vouch for its legitimacy though but worth doing some research into it.
