Unfortunately you have worries about price stability so my advice probably won't help, but if Alice and Bob wants to crowdfund a company, there are quite some ventures online that do this, I can name a few but I don't know if its allowed or not. If its allowed there is a crowdfunding website going on since 2010 with ups and down, but always paid, and lately they are focusing on creating their own exchange aimed more at bitcoin exchange, give a look. Its called Mytrafficvalue.com , they even have a forum there. Should give you an idea at least.

Cyaren,

Alice is heavily concerned about the price volatility of bitcoin, because she wants to give 1 share for exactly 1 USD. Even if she can convert the invested bitcoins to USD manually, she will probably be sleeping in a portion of the day's span. Considering that overnight price range for bitcoin may reach exaggerated rates, Alice needs a solid infrastructure for her crowdfunding.

It should be like BitPay, but the one that serves not only registered businesses but also everyone.

Yeah, Bitpay is a service that basically hedges you against any exchange rate risk. But seriously, I'm not that concerned about exchange rate risks anyway. If you're like me, then you don't need a payment processor like Bitpay. Just use a P2P exchange like Localbitcoins.

Thanks for the answers. But that is not what Alice wants. Alice has a bank account, but not in the US. And Alice's company hasn't yet been registered. So she cannot use BitPay. Nor can she use Coinbase's fiat settlement service.

Exchanges allow to sell bitcoins at a certain price, but the price of bitcoin is never stable. Alice wants to give 1 share of her future company for every 1 US dollar invested.

Bitpay allows merchants to accept Bitcoin and it can be converted to fiat immediately, depending on the merchant's choices. It works very well for POS terminals. It would be alright for a non-equity crowdfund compared to an equity crowdfund however.

A downside is that Bitpay direct bank deposit does not work for every country in the world. If that is the case, avikz's suggestion would be better.

They can use exchanger service. In today's world, a little google search will help you find many exchangers.

However, without a bank account, it is a bit difficult task to get fiat in exchange of bitcoin.

Otherwise, you have to make use of this type of forums to search for someone who stays near you and wants to buy bitcoins. Then you can facilitate the trade. Without bank account, it is really troublesome.

Dear all,

Alice wants to crowdfund her project, and Bob and his friends want to invest. But Alice needs dollars, not bitcoins, whereas Bob and his friends want to pay with bitcoins. What would you offer to Alice?

PS. Alice doesn't live in the US, and doesn't have a US bank account.
