IF electricity is inexpensive. I know there are very few places where electricity is not expensive. Now what if OP is not from such an area, what advice do you give him?

I was only giving him an alternative and it's surely not bad.
I have already said that if your electricity is more expensive than 6-8 cents, then it is better not to engage in mining. But large mining companies have tariffs of 3-5 cents.
I prefer mining on video cards, because new coins appear and there is a chance to pay back a video card in 6-8 months.

I think asking to get a payback on a certain card for 6-8 months is not possible during such time that we are in.We are still in a crypto winter and this is the best time to collect coins, you either mine them, which is what I do or you invest in them by buying them.Electricity I think is a key factor for people running more than 3-4 rigs while for people running only one rig even if the electricity is a bit high it is still affordable in the sense that people can even pay a bit of loss by waiting for the next crypto craze which can bring insane profits if done right.
When ethereum was worth more than $3,000, even those people who had electricity for 25 cents and more were mining.
Now is not the time for profit and quick payback for video cards, there are a lot of nuances for new miners, because prices in the equipment markets have not yet fallen much.

What coin should I buy to get a guaranteed profit in 2 years?
In this case, the choice is yours.

Nobody talked about "guaranteed profit" but chances as high that you can make profits given that the market is already down.
Bitcoin for example was $16K not so long ago, today it's $23K. Is $32K (100%) hard to achieve any time?

Doge was $0.07 not so long ago, today it's $0.08... is $0.14 hard to achieve in the next one or 2 years?

I am talking about realistic targets here given the time frame I stated. Ethereum POW is gone. Can you even dream of turning $3K to $6k in the next 1 or 2 years, mining in this bear market using a 3k mining gear?

Mining gives a constant and guaranteed profit every day if you have inexpensive electricity and you can service your mining farms yourself.

well this is a very interesting question about dreaming to make 3k into 6k via mining.

I purchased 10 l3+ for 1000 usd in december 2022. they use 7kwatts an hour or 170kwatts a day100

or 5100 kwatts a month they are about 5gh and earn 15 a day that is 450 usd earned

and in my home it would be 700 power cost.  but at my mine 225 power cost.

so I got back 675 in profit.

now back to if i had them at home i would have burned 2100 in power save 300 on heat.
net 1800 to run them earned 1350 in coin.

so 1800-1350= 450 loss and they cost 1000 so 1450 out of pocket.

but they are selling for about 200-250 so 10 x 200= 2000-1450= 550 profit in three months if i kept them at home.

L3+ are not very loud and they are very reliable.

Mining is a long term venture mate, if you are planning to make profits, maybe 3 to 5 years, that is if you don't even sell your mined coins at low price. Even those chaps who mined 50 Bitcoins at ago back in the day realized great profits at HODLing the mined coins after some time.

Now I shouldn't be the kind of person to tell you this, but If I were you with $3,000, I would just buy a coin and wait it out in a couple of years. There are very high chances that the $3,000 turns into $6,000 or more. Lately, that's very hard to achieve with mining in such a short span of time.

Hi friends
I have 3000 dollars budget and i want to buy a ASICS miner. which model and brand do you recommend to earn good and for long time ?
The price of your electricity?
Do you have a place to install ASIC?
Asics are very noisy and some could consume 3 or more kilowatts, so there will be a lot of noise in the apartment and you need to make a separate power cable so that there is no fire.

Longterm mining - only decision can be a sha256 miner like the Bitmain S19. Cost only around $2000 and give you best returns in longterm mining - my opinion and my conclusion after 7 years mining.

I had a couple of different ASIC Miners in the past and the BTC miners were the best in money return.

Scrypt Miner is also a good choice - but too expensive and the revenue depends too much with the doge price.

You should know that mining is not profitable at the moment or not what it used to be.The best choice for that budget would be if you are willing to jump in for the long run and not to make profit daily as that I am afraid is not possible unless you have free electricity, would be to mine ETHW or ETC or ETHF,any of the Ethash algorithms and hope that in the long run their prices will skyrocket. The E9 is the device I think of at near 3 Ghs of processing hash power for me is the best option at the moment.

The second best if you are into long term and don't like the Ethash algorithm, you can then choose a couple of L3+ Antminers to make DOGE+LTC daily. Those two options,Ethash and Scrypt are what most miners are doing right now,for your budget though, the best is option 1 with the E9 Antminer.
