BitConnect is a great PoS coin, you can mine BCC, and also stake it, and the staking interest is pretty good, but also I expect the value of BCC tokens is probably going to go up a lot if you hodl now. Here is a link to a video about BCC staking.

Mining and the POW stance is too much energy consuming and basically unprofitable if you do't have free energy so now I'm trying to figure out what PoS coins to invest in!

In your opinion What are the best PoS coins to stake?

I just got hold of Kuboscoin and they are good at staking very stable network although they are a new coin but their community is fast building up the project is still a work in progress, but they progress fast already on three exchanges and android wallet coming this week..

No one who has any suggestions? Would be nice if we could collect together like ten good pos coins  Grin.

Best PoS coin will be Etheruem. It will become PoS some time next year. However, it is still PoW at the moment.

only if you have a huge amount of eth... otherwise it wont be meaninful to the network.

right now im doing pos with dbic. it's pretty cheap so it's easy to buy a significant amount and get a good stake.

It is really hard to say because it changes from time to time. You need a coin with low difficulty (otherwise you need huge amounts to be able to stake), you need a coin that has a stable price - most POS coins are very volatile, apart from Peercoin. Then you need to look in to the minimum and maximum times to staking - for holders, coins with no max are great, but they are few and far between.

I would say peercoin. Stake is only 1% yearly but it is a stable coin.

Dash, you can have 1000 of those and running a master node, which kind of paying you some interest.

Pretty interesting... but isn't Dash the old darkoin which is a PoW X11 coin?
Haven't herad about staking dash... can you show me any links or any info on these dash nodes?

Earn Passive Income by Running a Dash Masternode on Raspberry Pi. the price of DASH must growing in long-term, otherwise this investment will pay off for a very long time

Agree. making DASH node(it cost ~9000$ now) is the best choice for passive income, and the development team and community has repeatedly demonstrated this. also i recommend you to stay away from cryptocurrencies with an unlimited supply of coins.

You're kidding, right?

It would take over 9 years to double your 1000 DASH with masternodes not including hosting costs. That's an awfully bad investment.
Why would anyone lock $8-9k for such a small profit especially considrering how volatile the price of DASH is.

+50 TALK for bathrobehero;

claim whenever; (anyone else i quoted can have 10 TALK)

PIGGY is cool. Stakes in hours - approx 3% pa. Fairly good volume for a POS and steady rising cap. Fair initial distro of the original scrypt POW coin which it replaced.

PoW mining is far from being unprofitable with normal electricity costs.

And you can only earn as much as you invest so PoS isn't very profitable. It's mostly a noob-trap if you ask me.
I mean crypto changes rapidly even on a daily basis and stakers are are only earning a few percentages per annum while you get much bigger swings in a daily/weekly basis.
