I don't know about anyone else but i see coinmarketcap as the easiest to use portfolio tracker maybe because it has been a very useful tool to me all along. Coinmarketcap helps track almost any coin you can possibly think of and it also add newly launched coin almost every second

IMO for better security and safety, it's better to use an offline portfolio tracker or manually input one by one without connecting anything with our own exchanges.
There is no offline portfolio tracker.
For getting the value of your coins, you have to be connected to the internet.

I feel you are confusing a portfolio tracker with a wallet.
When it comes to a wallet, it should be always offline and your keys should never connect to the internet.
When it comes to a portfolio tracker, there is no security issue if you connect to the internet. Because there is no key at all.

I am curious about the offline portfolio tracker. How do they work even if they are offline? I mean, It's offline. So, how does it collect the data and how does the system know that price is going up or the price is going down?

Did anyone suggest you CoinmarketCap?.
I wouldn't suggest to use this because they've experienced of emails leak in the previous year Coinmarketcap hack leaked 3.1 million emails!. Moreover Binance already bought Coinmarketcap, so there's high chance CZ is collecting the whole data related with crypto users, it will be a problem if he's cooperate with the regulations.

Did anyone suggest you CoinmarketCap?. This is one of the good Free Portfolio trackers. All you need to do is sign-up and create your portfolio. You can track almost everything you want. This is what my portfolio looks like today.

If you are Bitcoiner and don't care about NFT, I won't suggest you this. But, if you care about NFT. You can get benefited from CoinmarketCap. Coingecko also offers similar things. You can claim some diamonds by login in every day, and you can claim NFT and many other tickets and promo codes from the store using those diamonds.

If we are talking about the best, then it would be those portfolio tracker that's open source. Try checking out crypTrax[1] and Portfolio Performance[2]. However, it does not support mobile application so you need to manually verify and install then on your dekstop/laptop. They aren't beginner friendly as well so that's tradeoff in exchange for your privacy.

I won't bother opening an account with Blockfolio, Coingecko, or any other similar portfolio tracking applications where you don't have complete control over the information you provide them with even if you say that it's just some kind of text input.

Hi all,

I now hold the majority of my crypto on my ledger Nano S Plus I bought 6 weeks ago.

You can see the portfolio on ledger live but it doesn’t tell you your average buy etc.

Its nice that you have a hardwallet now. Good thing for your security. If major coins then used an estimated tracker from cmc or coingecko. It doesnt really that far from actual live tracker. Cause its based on general exchange averages so it would means a safe and accurate figures for monitoring the fund and asset value.

Just wondering what everyone uses as I would like to keep track of my crypto portfolio as I buy more and more during these low prices.

I have an iphone and just looking for the best tracker, is there one where I can just transfer my portfolio to the app so that I do not have to manually add every purchase I have made as that would take a long time?
If you are looking for a good exchange or wallet then in my opinion Trust Wallet and Binance will perform very well together for you. Here you can open multiple accounts and do different things without any hassle.

Not only that — Ledger is pretty slow in adding coins/tokens in their tracking database, hence a lot of times the slightly more obscure cryptocurrencies aren't tracked.

But if you only hold bitcoin or the major cryptocurrencies, you should be fine.

There are many portfolio applications that you can choose from, including Blockfolio, Delta, Cointracking, Coinstats, Gem, Crypto Compare, Crypto News, BitUniverse and many others. and it works on android and iOS. Blockfolio is my favorite application because it is more complete than other applications and also has more users. For applications such as Coinmarcektcap and Congecko also provide a portfolio menu and are also very useful and you can choose as other options.

There's also Bituniverse and coinstats

There are many portfolio tracking but they all have there unique features you just have to test good ones and stick to the tracker that provides you the exact information you needed.
I believe most people on this forum use blockfolio, but what I use is the CMC portfolio tracker and blockchair anonymous portfolio tracker. Meanwhile, some portfolio trackers send SMS or email notification but they attract a certain fee.

The 2 only decently usable portfolio trackers are either FTX(previously Blockfolio) like what others have said, or Delta. Delta seems to be more 'complete' because you can also track other assets, but FTX is the better pick if you're solely holding crypto.

I would recommend to use this portfolio tracker since it's open source and safer than the other sites Portfolio Performance [Open Source] - Keep track of your Crypto Portfolio! but there's no smartphone apps version yet, so I think the other choice might be delta.app or coinpeak.

I think an automatic portfolio tracker need to be associated with API of the exchange, it's not completely safe since it's online and would harm your privacy.

I like Exodus wallet. You can keep all your cryptos in the wallet with only one 12 word seed phrase.
OP isn't looking for a wallet. He/She is looking for a portfolio tracker.
It's not safe to connect your wallet to internet every time you want to check the value of your coins, especially if you use a close source wallet like exodus.

Used coingecko. You can track mostly of the tokens that are in the market cause only few arent on the list but blockfolio supported. Its always good to trust those popular platform. Ive been monitoring the value of my tokens on coingecko, and you can input even the quantity of it matching with the live price on the market.

Blockfolio is still the best for me even it was acquired by FTX because it has a lot useful feature on tracking price as well as being updated on crypto news and hot tokens. Coinmarketcap and Coingecko have this kind of tracking app too but blockfolio is still the best for me because of its features and design.

I have used blockfolio which now have been acquired by FTX and changed the name as "FTX". I think this one is good though I haven’t checked recently after FTX has taken them.
Beside, you can check coinmarketcap and use their portfolio tracker too.
There was another one which I can't remember at the moment. Will add shortly if I can remember.
