If someone wants to keep their Bitcoin safe then there's no better solution then Electrum as that's the highly recommended open-source wallet which investors can use to store their Bitcoin safely for long-term.

While the ones who are into other crypto-currencies then they will have to go with an opensource wallet as that's going to be much better than the closed source ones. I guess MetaMask could be a good wallet for those users.

Just as others have said op, some of the above listed wallets are closed source and at that, they are not safe for storing funds. Just hours ago, someone reported on the forum that his funds which he had been saving for his mom's treatment was stolen by hackers through trust wallet so before recommending any wallets to others, you should at least make research to know which wallets are suitable for long term hold and safe keeping our funds. I really think most new people I'm the crypto space knows only about the trust wallet and this is what is putting their funds at risk. Trust wallet, exodus coinbase, ledger are considered unsafe for various reasons attached. So if I'm to recommend any wallets for someone, it would be the ones I didn't stroke below.

Coinbase
MetaMask
Exodus
Trust Wallet
WazirX
Ledger
Trezor
KeepKey
I stroked WazirX because of some reviews I had seen on trust pilot. Though they are old from 2021, WazirX is a centralized exchange so you shouldn't consider it a wallet safe to store your funds.

Just as @Charles-Tim said, the Trust  wallet and Exodus  are partially opensourced  so there's  no way we are considering  them as open sourced, they will always be closed sorce and that applies to coinbase too.
Op you need to read more on wallet, its type and features.
They are more like a chain structure Tree model:
Under type of wallet we have:
Custodial wallets
Non Custodial  wallets

Under them we have the close
Open Sourced wallets => Codes are available  to the public
Closed Sourced wallets => Codes are not or partially available with the public
So it will be hard to detect the presence  of any malware.... I think that's  fair enough

Ledger is one of the hardware wallet that I can not use. This is because the wallet company does not care about their users privacy. Ledger secure element is close source.

Trustwallet, Coinbase and Exodus wallet are close source.

I think WazirX is only available for Indians. I do not know if it is good or not.
