for 450w, you could simply put 1 GPU for mining for the safest

Allocate - 330w for GPU's, 120w for the system

unless you will do underclocking and bios mod, and achieved 150w on each GPU you could get two

best GPU?

since you are into gaming with mining, better get the best for your gaming needs with those 8GB of mem, and that when mining is not profitable in the future you still have enjoying your rig Wink

Today I gave new life to my 11 yo desktop. An Intel E2180 Dual Core 2.0 Ghz on Intel DG31PR. New cpu-fan, New 1tb hdd and new PSU (Cooler Master MWE 450) with 2*2 GB ddr2 ram.

So i also attached a 1050ti to practice mining on windows 10 (all of my rigs are on HiveOS and I want to switch now) and it went alright. Now I am think buying 2 GPUs for mining on it. It has one PCI-E x16 and one x1.
I know that gpu mining at a very high risk now but I will be building a gaming rig this year too so one of the gpus will be still useful if not for mining. So what do you think will work on my 450w CoolerMaster MWE ?

Where I live prices were always high compared to US. So here are approx prices I can get now :

Inno3d  1080                          $553     (looking best to me)

1080ti                                      $850-$950 (going rate)

Msi 1030 3gb                         $285

MSI Vega 56 airboost OR sapphire pulse vega56
                                                  $823 & $880

Sapphire pulse RX580 4g     $419
Sapp        pulse      570 4g     $389

New gtx series won't come within next 3 months but by then I would have got some roi on these cards.
