"What if the cryptocurrency disappear?"

I like it here in bitcointalk because you can learn and earn at the same time, in 2018 i don't know a single thing about cryptocurrency but through engaging in different posts, constructing topics, reading many articles, i learn a lot about crypto and for me it don't stop when you learn a thing because you will gather and gather knowledge that will help you in the future. learning is fun when you can earn and that's the best thing i can get in this platform.

All of us have different reasons for staying here on this platform.
Most of us have targeted posting to make income and some are here to learn cryptocurrency.

I have realized recently that we should make a goal that's affiliated with cryptocurrency 'cause it's just a waste if you learned all those facts and information about crypto on this platform for income. Some are not giving any attention to informative topics but in reality, knowledge is power and more important than anything else.

So, questions came up to my mind...

"What should be my destination if I learn even more about the cryptocurrency?"

"What if the cryptocurrency disappear?"

Your destination really depends on your application, if you obtain a diploma in medicine and you become a doctor, you need to treat sick people for people to say that you are indeed a doctor, and on your question what if Cryptocurrency disappear, the biggest question more than this is, what will make Cryptocurrency to vanish.

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is not just about making money. It's also about technological development and for me, learning crypto and blockchain doesn't just give me income because this knowledge we have is already an advantage to us. We have more knowledge than other people who doesn't have any idea about this. It means that while they still don't know about this, we already have knowledge. Learning crypto isn't just for money, we can use this knowledge we have today or even in the future. Actually right now, I wanted to use this topic for my thesis but I'm still thinking if I sure push this because it will be a struggle for me to find related studies.

This knowledge about crypto can really help us in the future and this can be our advantage. The destination of learning crypto is not vivid to me yet but if we're now earning because of this knowledge, what more in the future if it achieve mass adoption. I'm here because I know I can use this experience I have in the future.

It could be the best guide but it's probably not presented properly.

In summary, you are trying to tell newbies to have genuine interest in learning how cryptocurrency, blockchain, and other stuffs related to them works and then apply them to their everyday life (correct me if I'm wrong). To a certain extent, I believe many here are already doing that. Some people are okay with easily giving up their personal information to airdrops/bounties, centralized exchanges and custodial wallets before but changed upon learning the danger of KYC and the importance of data privacy.

"What if the cryptocurrency disappear?"

It will take a lot of time for cryptocurrencies to get disappeared, at least not soon in the next 3 decades, it will become just better and more widely used. Each day blockchain is getting more attention from more people in different countries.

Blockchain now is one of the pillars or foundation for other better newer technology to bring better solutions. Soon blockchain will be like internet is today, basic tools to solve many necessities.

Okay, let's forget about the newbie and bitcointalk, just take cryptocurrency now "what are the intentions of veteran members" still same is to make money by speculating about cryptocurrency that is why most people using the term "Crypto investors" which means they are expecting it to sell for high price at some point.

So everyone has to realize the importance of cryptos existence this gives us freedom of using our own money, we don't have to trust those papers meant to have equivalent value.

Is it really for the money or development of our community?
Those stuff just makes this industry sound like a religion if you ask me. Too unnecessarily cheesy for my taste.
If the point is more likely a religion, then I think I have forgotten to specify that we should be worshiping all day long to bitcoin, if that's "cryptocurrency in our life" means. I just thought bitcoin especially blockchain as the solution in the future, the point is to make bitcoin a better use or be more innovative on using bitcoin and the idea discussed here shouldn't be a waste.

A waste? Not really. You just described education as a waste.
I hope we aren't speaking for ourselves. Think of those people who're participating in discussions but didn't even give a fck or give importance to the information they read, more likely it's a waste, it's a fact that we shouldn't deny. We aren't really forcing them, this is supposed to motivate those people who're still confused 'cause unlike some of you that already knows what to do even at the start of the journey. Also, I didn't even say or pointed out that education is a waste, that's too general.

just having the will to study and participate, even if it is for income, is already quite enough IMO.
We're on the same boat when I still didn't appreciate the technicalities and the use of it. I thought it's enough to just learn for the money, eventually, I appreciated it and realize to make more use of it to gain bigger and reach a better goal once you've applied it to your life. That's what I meant and the only point of my statements, don't take it too deeply.

When I heard this forum I begin with scratch. I started to learn everything from my English skills writing(since this is not my main language used) and also to sharpen my knowledge about Bitcoin and technology behind on it, the blockchain. And I'm thankful to those forum members here in the forum that older generations than me sharing their knowledge through having knowledgeable posts/replies. So now, let's helped back to newbies or younger generations to give inspiration and give knowledge. It will cycle from the next generation and so on and so forth.

Do you think you consider yourself as part of this community if your desires on this platform are for personal only?
And yes, I'm a part of this community not just on my own personal interest but also I wanted to help those newbies who seeking a good informative post. (as much as I can)

For me, earning a decent amount of crypto and at the same time learning about the blockchain ecosystem how does it work, and why Bitcoin is a very popular cryptocurrency is the main reason why I stay on this site. I met different people and friends through this community platform. It is priceless for me.

A waste? Not really. You just described education as a waste. Cause it was used to learn general and specified stuff you would be able to use for jobs so you can earn, basically what you're saying right now. It's not a waste to learn, it's a waste to read and NOT to learn. Besides, every path there is needed some kind of motivation of sorts so you can push through to your goal. If an initial goal is to earn income, then its completely fine. To fully take advantage of how Crypto works in the end, you'd have to study up a lot and learn a lot of different things. If you were satisfied with low-level knowledge resulting in low-level income, well thats completely up to the opposite party no?

Upvote what mk4 said, having a goal that could be said to be "decent" or "noble" isn't bad, but forcing it to everyone may seem like the community IS a cult instead of a community. We don't need any of those noble ideas or deep goals in life when joining the forum, just having the will to study and participate, even if it is for income, is already quite enough IMO.

Is it really for the money or development of our community?

I'm personally here on Bitcointalk to talk about Bitcoin and finance because I'm deeply deeply interested in both, and at the same time, while earning a decent amount of BTC for my long term holdings. That's pretty much it. Not really sure about the "goal that's affiliated with cryptocurrency", "apply bitcoin in their life" and the "cryptocurrency in our life" stuff. Those stuff just makes this industry sound like a religion if you ask me. Too unnecessarily cheesy for my taste.

Also, p.s. Bitcoin not Crypto.

"What should be my destination if I learn even more about the cryptocurrency?"
Cryptocurrency help people who spend time to learn about it understand that there are good alternatives for cash. Cash is dirty, with germs, viruses, and lots of unable-to-detect-by-eyes so we (not best) but at least have good things to use instead of cash.

Cryptocurrency gives us comfortable in real life activites, we don't have to bring our pockets around all day long just to pay our daily expenses.

They also gives us decentralization, privacy (somewhat), and faster speed of confirmations. We no long need banks.

"What if the cryptocurrency disappear?"

This is the reality that some people are very good to make income but can't even remember those single information they read. Most of us don't know how will they apply bitcoin in their life and just wanted to earn more through campaigns. Do you think you consider yourself as part of this community if your desires on this platform are for personal only?

The only way to make our community grow more is to embrace the use of modern technology especially cryptocurrency in our life. It's an opportunity that is given to us and by giving back, we should show to the community that we really admire blockchain and bitcoin because it's the one that supports us now on our financial needs sometimes. If you're asking me what's my contribution to the community, I just simply adapted the technology behind it which is blockchain on academic aspects.

It's just a thought of mine why am I here and you should think about it also. Is it really for the money or development of our community?
I think this is the best guide so far for a newbie to make a better path on their journey here.
