AFAIK there aren't really any hardware wallet readily available yet, just look at Trezor, they are way behind with their orders.
But setting up a cold storage on an old Asus EEE netbook running Linux with Armory doesn't take more than an hour or so and it is rather easy to do actually. I'd be glad to help.
Thx banana, but I do think that Bitgo is safe enough until the hardware wallets are out, it should be quite soon. Hardbit is supposed to be out already, although I couldn't find where to buy it. Bitgo being multisig should be quite safe for now. They require me to use a one-time password they text me to my phone everytime y move something out of my wallet (plus a normal pw for my account on Bitgo and another for my wallet). Or am I being foolish to store my coins there even if it's only until I get my hands on a hardware wallet?
Jipsi, Electrum is just a normal wallet that would require me to do the paper/offline wallet routine to be safe isn't it?
