Just as a warning for others... Magnum wallet seems to have "disappeared"... I get NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID errors attempting to connect to the website... the github is empty and on twitter we have this: https://twitter.com/Magnum_Wallet/status/1333472916588081154
Thanks, I updated my reply, it was a good wallet to store/send shitcoins. Now it is dead and I do not advise anyone to use it.
Remember: even open source wallet if devs are not constantly developing it, then it is best to avoid it.

So, the wallet service was officially shutdown back at the end of November 2020

There was also a user who recently posted a thread trying to get coins out of a Magnum wallet but having issues... but I can't find their post right now.

TLDR; Don't try and use Magnum wallet, it's dead.

You made a mistake and added the wrong link in your post. Your link leads to Magnum wallet's signature campaign (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/full-magnum-wallet-signature-campaign-5088553). I assume that you were trying to link to this ANN thread > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-magnum-ligth-wallet-claim-forks-map-tokens-dpos-enabled-5051421.
You're right, I Googled Magnum wallet and them signature campaign appeared first.
I also find this link --> https://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/a-list-of-upcoming-bitcoin-forks-and-past-forks/
There are many hardforks I believe that some of them are useless so sticky with coinomi, exodus and Magnum

AFAIK, This wallet[1] automatically gives you Most famous hardforks, it will not restore all hardforks, but I think that only some hardforks are valuable.
Do your research before using them because I haven't used them in over a year.

Alternatively, you can try coinomi & exodus. It's fairly good.

Loyce made a guide on this topic: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/loycevs-bitcoin-fork-claiming-guide-and-service-2836875.

As long as you've sweep your Bitcoin I think the risk should be lower.

I recently did a sweep on some old paper wallets that I had prior to the Bitcoin (BTC) fork and I now want to import the Bitcoin Cash and other Alt coins that might be on those paper wallets, before I destroy them.

What will be the best method to extract these fork coins? Which wallets is the safest to use for this, that allows for the import of the Private key?

It is a pity that there are not an application (APP) to retrieve the fork coins from the Bitcoin (BTC) when you sweep those wallets. It would have made this process a lot easier and it would be a lot safer to do it in one process. (A hacker can retrieve the Private key from the first sweep and hijack the fork coins, without you even knowing it)  Roll Eyes

Any suggestions?
