hi all, I'm still curious if there is such as thing as the best pool for big or small miner. say I have a 10 GHS asic and a 1 THS, should i point the 2 different asic at 2 different pools?

what is the best strategy?

Actually, you can choose big or small is ok, just make sure they have high DOSS protection... some people tend to like small poll more because they have a better payout per block found....

Choose the big po0l, or small pool with block incentives (check often cause they get DDOS all the time).

The good thing about big pool is that they have good DDOS protection and good server like BTCGuild, so if you count that in, you should get the most out of big pool compare to small pool.....

so if your miner has higher hashrate, does that mean that your chance of finding a block goes higher? are there any other variance involved?

Or point your miners to pool.play4.co.uk:9332

P2Pool so all mined coins go straight to your wallet Smiley

play4.co.uk has instructions

Just point both to the same pool. Easier for you to manage...

What about solo mining for both? Since U have 1 TH/s your odds are pretty high..

I've had good consistent results with slush and ozcoin. ozcoin offers POT pay method which is neat because if you're the block finder, you get more payment than others. Slush seems to have the least website issues. Most of the established pools will provide you with the same consistent payout anyhow, once variance and other factors are examined.

With 1TH, I would solo mine for a week for giggles, you might be surprised.

I prefer big pool like BTCGuild, less DDOS and less downtime Smiley
