cryptothrift has probably the most traffic. marketplaces like open bazaar or NXTMarket are really nice and needed, but no-one is using them.

I think the best case for people is to build a rep.
And that takes a bit of time to do, but after you gain rep, the forum itself in those sections will do well for you.

Well yeah, this seems to be the case in the current times. If your items seemed to be something that someone needs, then it would be bought, otherwise it would be not. The Goods section of this forum seem to be a nice place to look at, but seeing that there are more WTS than WTB makes it not that appealing to sellers. If you may, what kind of items do you want to sell?

It has become apparent to me that people who want to sell goods for bitcoin have no elegant way of doing it.
I've been trying to sell stuff for bitcoin ever since it hooked me in 2013, but I haven't really succeeded. Things like CryptoThrift are nice, but things take forever to sell. Glyde is okay too, but there aren't enough products for sellers to sell, especially if they're selling new items.
But the Marketplace section here on bitcointalk.org is where it gets interesting.
In the Physical Goods section on the first page when I looked at it, there were 2 WTB's and 15 WTS tags. Does this mean supply is outweighing demand for goods sold in exchange for bitcoin?
It sounds like it will be a while before something like OpenBazaar becomes a thing, so I'm looking for other options. Where can I sell my own physical goods that are in new condition? Starting your own online store sounds appealing at first, but it becomes a much less elegant, and more time-consuming solution.
So where do I go?
I'm stuck here, and my wallet balance isn't exactly "increasing."
