Blockchain.info is just plain awesome. Two-factor authentication, backups to Dropbox... Simply the best!

I like the features of blockchain.info but don't really have enough confidence in online wallets for security so use Bitcoin QT. Really wish QT had the coin control feature that you get with blockchain though. Smiley

blockchain.info is pretty dang secure -- best of the online wallets for sure.

I'm pretty sure bitcoind has all of the coin control you need, it's mostly command line instruction though.

It's in Armory if you feel like losing use of 2gB RAM whenever you have it up.

Thanks for the tip, that's really useful to know. Smiley

Coinbase is a storage method..

Blockchain.info creates a true wallet for you.

Coinbase.com does not.  They take in all coins to their own wallet and redistribute when you want to move them.   This process has many weak points and your coins are not safe.

It's great to buy there, it's great to sell there, but don't keep your fucking coins there, this is the last I'll say of it.

Well, you can use it like a wallet though

Go ahead.  Wait until your coins disappear for a week and support doesn't get back to you for days at a time.  They will, trust me.

Yea lots of people like coinbase

No.  Coinbase is not a wallet.  It's a bitcoin buying/selling service.  It's not liquid, it's not an exchange.

You do NOT have a wallet there.  there you have a $ amount and a BTC amount in a database.  Their shit is fucked up often too and takes days to fix.

DO NOT STORE COINS THERE.  Lock them in cold storage.

Hello everyone,
I have been in the Bitcoin community for a few months now and am looking for a nice secure wallet to use online.
I frequently do business on multiple computers, so an executable client wouldn't do me much good.

What are some suggestions? I currently have a Blockchain wallet, which isn't bad, and I'm tired of using campBX as my wallet too haha.

Thanks!
