Poloniex is the best one, just look at any coin traded on polo and you can watch that polo has the highest volume over all other exchanges, if you afford to pay for paid signals, you can make good profit.

For a coin to varies the price unlike liqui. The wall for buy/sell order was very thin so that day trading was very preferable. I'm not endorsing liqui but they are a good exchange for day trading because they just listed hot coin.

To be honest, I was not trading a lot on altcoins because of many reasons, but not talking about the details, I always prefered to stay away from a huge risk which you get on trading even pretty trusted coins.
But I have big experience on forex trading, and to be serious, I made dozens of successful trade on different cryptocurrencies.

If i would talk about the best platform for trading alts, i would recommend using poloniex. The volume is really high, and the rates are awesome too, the only annyoing problem i have encountered  was  that the user interface lags a bit sometimes.

Obviously I can google this, but I would just like to hear what you guys have to say as those articles are outdated and may contain irrelevant information.

I would choose Poloniex anytime , Its secure as most of the funds are stored in cold storage , It has the biggest trading volume If we exclude the Chinese exchanges , It's fast , and also have good design and a good support. I don't see a reason why I would choose another platform.
Poloneix would be the best choice for trading. Its legit and it is well known for its reputation. If you want to invest in newly released altcoins and want more choices, you could try Bittrex because most of the newly released coins are listed there.
I found that the best way to do trading is to sell and buy coins on peer to peer platforms like local bitcoin, it may not be the best idea but for the people who don’t have that much coins they are able to trade with the amount they can, the only thing that I wish they add is the ability to trade other cryptocurrencies, other than that it is secure and there are many payment method.

aren't you satisfied with google answered to your question?  Well, by getting other's  experienced in trading it is still much better to know  what's there view about your concerns. There are lot of exchange platform which are good to trade for, there is c-cex, yobit, novaexchange, cryptopia, bittrex, poloniex and bitcoinwisdom and others. But the best thing platform that I could give a good recommendation was Poloniex and bittrex. Though I'm not saying the rest of the platform that I had mentioned was not good, no its not what I'm trying to intend to.

In day trading. the platform that has the highest volume is the best choice and that is poloniex but if you're planing to be a whale on low market cap

altcoins you can use either bittrex or yobit for that because poloniex is very picky on the coins that will be put in their exchange.

If you are a bitcoin's price trading guy then try out BTC-e I always have used them and they never disappointed me at all. Though they have a rule I guess that when you make a new account and deposit money you cannot withdraw till 24 hours, though this maybe for security a new guy joining may get worried.

Other than that I would say there are sites like poloniex, etc for altcoins trading and are quite nicely running till now.

Especially for alternative coins, poloniex is one of best choice. It is so many kind of alternative coin on there, you can choose four main trading tab such as BTC XMR ETH USDT. which you can trade with more than 80 kind of alternative coin just from btc tab. Also in my point of view, poloniex has easy method to deposit and withdraw fund.

My best choice platform for day trading is Poloniex and second which I choose is C-cex. This platformed were fast and secured to use. Ive been trading this platform since last year so far I havent encountered any problem.
The best platfor to do is to trade with all trading sites so that you have more capabilities to trade. Since every exchanger has their difference prize per coin, it does mean that you can take all of them as advantage. As I trader, I give funds in several trading site and once I seen which trading site has a cheaper coin price, I do buy from that ste and I transfer that coin ti another site which has more expensive prize for that coin has a larger volume for their trade.

I would recommend you to try yo-ex.com. Now i know you may have not heard about it but honestly i have used the transactions for exchanging a few coins and it worked perfectly. The fees they charge is 0.1% or maybe less as when i used it i barely saw anything being charged. And the best part is their unique design which no other exchange has till date.

I would not prefer that site as it looks suspicious.
Better to trade on Poloniex or bitrex. I do trading on the daily basis on both of those and I would suggest those to everyone. It's not a good thing to keep your Bitcoins on a trading site but due to the delay in the transactions, people have to keep them nowadays.

If you want to be screwed up one day, you can keep your funds on poloniex or bitrex. I prefer to use decentralized exchange, where I always keep my funds in my own wallet and nobody but me controls my private keys.

Liqui is the best place for a day trading. All coins listed to them are all hot coin with a huge average trading volume which is perfect for short patience out there. My first impression on liqui was they are not trusted but they prove that i'm wrong because they are now the leading trading platform that can list all newly finish ICO which makes them the best for me.

I will vote for Poloniex, most of the trader go to that site to trade, it is simple and easy to do trading, but I also like to trade in yobit, because the site a got a lot of alt coin to trade, if you are the one that like challenge by buying unpopular coin then Yobit is a good place, but remember never store too many coin in exchanger site, even the biggest exchanger can become scammed site
There is another one which I mostly use and it's bittrex but the site never got too popular like poloniex for some reason. I used to trade a lot on crypto ( it has scammed now !) unless the time came when they scammed.
And on a personal note I would suggest that you better down the alt coins wallets and keep your precious altcoins there at least if not bitcoins ( because bitcoins have a lot of secure online wallets )

I'm usually to use Poloniex and Bittrex their exchange service, Poloniex have big volume trading but sometimes their site heavy to load and make me uncomfortable for this situation.

Since I transferred to Poloniex, they never failed me to please me.

Their support really takes care of me when I faced some technical problem using their platform. Although it took weeks, they are not being unresponsive to my concern and always giving me a response. There are also some active activities of day trading at Poloniex. But it's not with the platform when you want to day trading. It depends on a certain alt that will established a good and drops volume everyday.

If you are experiencing a heavy load in the site, try their lite version instead.

Yeah they are good but all of the exchanges have their monthly and some have daily limits. I used to be a fan of kraken until the time came when they held my withdraw for no reason and after a lot of support tickets and all they finally get it through.

I believe the most important factor when we trade at a site is instant withdrawals and easy traced deposits for alt coins and kraken failed to meet my expectations.Yes I agree with you polo si a nice one.

if you are in a day trading polo and trex will be a good place for you as many mention that both site got a good volume and a lots of traders who's playing and investing with more alts but if you are looking for a long hold investment ccex and cryptopia would also be a good place as they supporting new alts which still aspiring to be added to polo and trex.

I think the best exchange site for me thar you need to try is Poloniex Exchange if you want a Day to Day trade because it has a big volume for every coin 10Btc volume is the lowest in this site and coin is very wavy or always moving you can do buy low and sell high again and again depend on the altcoin, And especially it has margin section.
What is Margin?
- Margin is the features on poloniex that you can loan money for trading depending on your balance in your Margin Wallet and it has 2 Position so you can earn profit by just a day but take note it is risky.
Long Position - it is the position that you can earn profit when the coin is getting high.
Short Position - it is the position that you can earn profit when the coin is getting low.
You can borrow 2.5x of your Balance with a small fees so its worth it.

be very careful when using one of these big exchanges such as poloniex for day trading and having short positions which you would like to liquidate as fast as possible by executing an order on the spot. because they go down or become drastically slow in times of high activity and you can easily lose the opportunity to sell because their servers can not handle high traffic!

BTC-E experiences the exact same down and slow periods. It has been like that from the very beginning of me using that exchange. Large players know this, and exploit this weak spot by DDoS attacking these exchanges briefly. I don't really know why they can't just keep running smoothly since other major exchanges can do it. It's not a money thing since both BTC-E and Poloniex have massive fee incomes.

That's need to consider.
But, professional company should know how to manage their business, it's means if they traffic growth higher, they should upgrade their server and warn to their users before upgrading implemented.

There's a lot of top and popular exchanges site that you can choose like bitfinex, poloniex, c-cex and cryptopia. Consider and compare their security, speed, transaction fees, responsiveness and etc. and you can pick the best for you and that suits your taste.
Yes, the choices are more and I could not find any big differences between most of the highly famous and reputed exchanges.

I just choose few exchanges based on one particular coin being listed or not. For bitcoin/fiat trading I always want to stick with giants like bitstamp and bitfinex. Choosing exchange for daily trading should be done by own experience and listening to other's experience/opinion may not work imho.

Day to day trading is a good way to earn regularly and make it a stable earning. In my opinion most of the exchange and trading platforms are providing the availability to trade with very minimal amount. Possibly it's easy to earn regularly if we can plan to have small margin trading.

If you want to do day trading in altcoins then poloniex is the best because most of the coins there are legit and they are all moving so you can take advantage of that if the coin is being dump then buying it will help you to earn money. You can also do day to day trading in bitcoin there but altcoins is more suited in day to day, IMO.

I would choose Poloniex anytime , Its secure as most of the funds are stored in cold storage , It has the biggest trading volume If we exclude the Chinese exchanges , It's fast , and also have good design and a good support. I don't see a reason why I would choose another platform.
It is secured until it's hacked. What makes you think if they are hacked by the internal team or by random hackers, your money would still be safe ? IMHO,do not trust any trading sites with the money you can't afford to lose.
I think he's saying about only trading. not about storing funds in Poloniex. for the exchange purposes Poloniex is no doubt one of the most trusted platform.. but storing large amount of funds in exchange is not safe.

as a trader you will end up storing something on an exchange at some point. you never go in, trade, go out!
you go in, open an order, wait for it to be filled, it may take an hour or a week even and in all that time your money (bitcoin, fiat, altcoins) are on the exchange and there is no other way around that.

That is true that if you think that without it you can do then i think you will miss the correct price to buy or sell in so many time if you hold the bitcoin in your wallet but it does not mean that you have to keep them in exchange wallet but when you are going to do daily trading then you have to keep some part of bitcoin in exchange and do trading and as soon as you are in profit that time you better withdraw it and just keep small part in the exchange wallet , like this you can lower the loss risk. other then that their is no other way.

Even though you will find many through the suggestions here and I would also suggest you the one which I use but I would also advise you to try these platform with lower amounts and then you can go with higher amounts with one which you will find comfortable to trade because trading on a platform which is suited for all of the other members might not work well for you (in terms of speed, user interface and fees etc).

Now coming back to the topic, I usually trade on Yobit, 1Broker and localbitcoins and the placement of order differ from strategy to strategy and type of trade. For example, I use 1broker to trade with stocks, indices & forex whereas I use localbitcoins to trade BTC and fiat but with more than single payment options so for me it all depends on the type of trade and ease of trading. All of my trades are usually day trades and I rarely trade for long term (because funds in long term are my cold storage investments).

My vote for Poloniex, I think they are among the best. They are well established and trustworthy and pay a lot of attention to security and that is very important for users especialy when attacks and malwares are so common. As far as I know many are satidfied with Poloniex so you can't go wrong. Good luck.

I will go with Poloniex then c-cex. In Poloniex trading is fast, so many traders playing and the traded volume is huge. Well, cce is quite different but I like the platform and effecient trading. But nowadays, there are many unreliable coins being traded but I like the delisting feature of ccex to weed out non performing coins.

Obviously I can google this, but I would just like to hear what you guys have to say as those articles are outdated and may contain irrelevant information.
,

We had our own bet exchange that we can suggest in this forum, and for me bittrex is one of the good and legit exchange site that I can recommend you to try to trade in. Because there times that some there coins are swinging aggressively all you need to only was to monitor it from time to time as much as possible.

I like to trade on poloniex and bittrex. I used to trade on btc-e but it's quite limited when you like to trade altcoins, they do support a lot of worldwide currencies.

but in my opinion a very good market from the beginning until now bittrex and poloniex, so if you want to trade my advise to trade in the two markets, because bittrex and poloniex already secured and no coin dirt that can play low volume. Wink
If you already have strong foundation about trading trexx and polo is a good place for you since movements is really makes profitable if you have good assessment but if you are still a beginner better try yobit and ccex and learn how fake pnd is affecting the market. Thers a lots of fake movements inside yobit they have all the capabilities because of low volumes.

Yobit.net and poloniex are two best platform for bitcoin and altcoin trading but if we are said about good analytical platform I think I will give it to samplefx as you can download metatrader software and demo with it before real bitcoin or money. But in trading, platform is not what really matter but skills and understanding on how bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies works.

I would choose Poloniex anytime , Its secure as most of the funds are stored in cold storage , It has the biggest trading volume If we exclude the Chinese exchanges , It's fast , and also have good design and a good support. I don't see a reason why I would choose another platform.

Thanks for the suggestion , i used to use Magnr . But will check this too Smiley

I'm using three exchanges Yobit,Ccex and Novaexchange, although you can not consider them number one in their industry, yet they offer volumes to every coins listed here, security are all ok they keep updating their site to the latest security don't have problem with support also this is my experience in all these three.
Based upon the locality users prefer different bitcoin exchanges. Kraken is preferred by people in the European nation. Localbitcoins were much used by users around the world as its one among the licenced bitcoin service render. Yobit too is better in terms of listing all sort of coins which were unavailable in other exchange websites.

May I ask why you're excluding the Chinese exchanges from your conclusion? I'm probably only going to be trading in American exchanges anyways

are you Chinese and want to deposit CNY?
if not why do you want that?

and to answer your main question, any exchange would work for you. as long as there is enough liquidity so that you can take advantage of all the changes. things that i will check is their fees, and then their volume and then their rules and if they accept traffic from my country!

also i am not sure if you want to trade altcoins or bitcoin/fiat? because polonies is good for altcoins.

What coin specifically you want to trades? Are there any or you will just do a random trades based on volumes established per day or by any means of your duration? How much do you know about doing day trading?

When I say Poloniex, your desired coin might not there that's why Im asking you so that I can point out the specific exchange. But if your preferred coin listed in the exchange site I mentioned then that's my recommendation,

My vote for Poloniex, I think they are among the best. They are well established and trustworthy and pay a lot of attention to security and that is very important for users especialy when attacks and malwares are so common. As far as I know many are satidfied with Poloniex so you can't go wrong. Good luck.
