Right on guys thanks. I'm ready to deposit some money from my wallet to my cryptsy account. I bought some BTC earlier on an exchange and sent it to my wallet. It is all there in my wallet, but it Still says uncomfirmed. If it is picking up and displaying my new balance, could I still spend that even though it's not confirmed yet? Or will this create massive problems?
you need to wait 'till it's confirmed - the longer you wait, the cheaper the fee

Litecoin is quite high atm, i'm waiting for it to be at the 0.0265 mark - or around about.
There is no sure fire way to know it will ever go back down there though.
