Nothing can be properly analyzed in the chaotic state of the market. The market is going to be dumping again. If the market is like this, people will stay away from investing.A few days ago Bitcoin started to rise and people were very optimistic that Bitcoin would not be dumped anymore. But we can see that Bitcoin is going to be dumping again. However, investing in this market can be done for a short period of time and can be sold if there is a profit. And if you want to invest for a long time, you have to invest for a long time.

Usually fees are lower on Sunday nights, so probably that would be the best time to buy Bitcoin and send it to your own wallet immediately.

But other than that probably the best time is when you have some extra fiat.
Never noticed that, but will pay more attention next time

I have read an article that there is a best time to buy bitcoin. By considering these patterns, we can be able to buy bitcoin at a lowest price.

1. it’s better to buy Bitcoin in the afternoon since prices tend to drop. While the best time to buy Bitcoin is from 3 pm to 4 pm.

2. They say, you can also get a good deal from 11 pm to midnight.

3. Weekend is also the best for people to consider and decide on buying bitcoin since many business people trade Bitcoin on weekdays which causes Bitcoin price go up and the demand increase.

4. We should also avoid buying bitcoin in paydays since many people get their paychecks in the middle and at the end of the month. When people have more money in their account, people tempted to spend it and Bitcoin prices can rise quickly.

Does anyone follow the same this practices? or would you mind share your own practices if you have, to help us get an idea where is best time to buy bitcoin.

*Source : When is the best time to buy Bitcoin
You have given some guidelines which may lead to good results but I think it will be effective only when the market is stable. It will be difficult to get the results of such research in any dumping session. However, I agree with you that we usually get positive trades on weekends because there are a lots of trader join in trading at that specific moment.

you can't buy bitcoin with just such an analysis. because if you buy bitcoin for long term investment it will be very bad.
and actually if you can't analyze the time to buy bitcoin you can just buy when the price drops more than 5%-10% on that day.
don't trust articles that can mislead you and lose your money.

my advice is you better learn to buy bitcoin by looking at the market chart it will be much better

best time to buy bitcoin is now mate. bitcoin investors has regret never. if they regret those were panic sellers at some point.
Really the best time to buy Bitcoin?Yes, this is the best time to buy Bitcoin. There are many people who were waiting to buy coins now their waiting time is over. Now if they can buy Bitcoin and invest it for a long time, they will be able to own big money later.Bitcoin will move to a better position, maybe it will take a little longer. Those who want to invest can buy Bitcoin at this time and keep it.
Indeed, the time has come but guess what, many people still want it to drop more and waiting for the bottom, and they are still not buying.
This will imply that many were still unable to understand the market situation but rather make assumptions about the future which I don't know if they are really committed to invest or not.

I could say that even the fact that Bitcoin welcomes all but unfortunately, not all want to take risks and being optimistic with this, many were still lossen their hand and letting it go.

Nobody has really expected that the market would crash this low and we've been through ups and downs since the year 2022 started but I recommend that we remain calm and stay optimistic especially if we're into long-term hodling. We will be anxious if we're more of a trader rather than a hodler because the fall of the bitcoin will also be the fall of other cryptocurrencies.
People say they are into the long term game but they then start panicking when they see the short term losses end up being more. I say this is normal and not knowing what one is getting into is the reason why this happens. Studying old charts, one can easily see that the hours of the day and bitcoin price have no relation at all because bitcoin is traded 24hours*7days*365days and not on a stipulated time in a certain country.

Therefore the time to buy is right when the market drops and the weak hands start to sell. Catching that time is the best though not ideally possible everytime. Once the bear market sets in, like the current scenario, one will get ample chances to catch the falling bitcoins.

Mate, I also couldn’t have imagined that Bitcoin would ever come to at this current price. We can give the surety about the condition of market . But if we see the current situation there is no positive point or signal for the bull-run On the other hand, one bad news after another is coming. The Russia & Ukraine war is also impact on market . So It can be say that bitcoin have the possibility to down at 15k or more .

Market condition is not soo good yet . and we can see more dip . so i think it is not time to buy yet. we should wait some more weeks or months and analyse the market. bitcoin have possibly to brack $15k and then $13k so investing in cryptocurrency still high risy
I do not think that it would drop to those levels. By the looks of it the price seems to be going fine, and I believe that we will probably be doing fine even longer. I know that it is not going to be 100k or something in a jiff, but it is going to be going higher and higher even if it's small amounts. Like for example I expect it to be 30k by the time summer ends, and probably 40k by the time year ends.

Now, these are not huge increases of course, I accept that but it is better than going down. After that? Well, in 2023 it's anyone's guess, it could break the ATH, or it could barely reach 60k and drop a bit more down again, and wait for the halving to happen.

If I follow your first claim, I should be buying by now.  Yeah, it can happen and it does happen, some people do things like that but not everyone, and not all the time and opportunity can be followed.  But if I follow all that on the list at one time of purchase, I won't have to buy now because it is not weekends.  Sometimes others just buy when they want even without following the day and time so even if they have extra money to buy they don't consider that because they are still looking at the movement to see if it is time to buy or just sell.

The price of Bitcoin is fluctuating between 19 and 20 thousand dollars. It is very difficult to say which way the market will take me. Even then we have to patiently invest in Bitcoin according to the portfolio following the DCA review of the current situation in the market. This will greatly reduce the chances of loss.

With stock market trading there's specific time by Which one needs to do trading to make it a good day, because it have got the trading opening and closing time. With cryptocurrency scenario is different, it is a 24/7 market. So, right time needs to be understood observing the market and not out of any time zone.

For users who are into trading practice it is good to look for the drop and make a buy and sell when the price increases. Continued practice will let the user know the right time to make a buy than looking timezones.
Forex is about 7/24 as well give or take, so that means crypto should be similar to forex as well but it is usually not the same. I believe that we should not compare crypto to anything not because there is nothing good like this anywhere in the world, but because nothing is the same mindset. Doesn't mean that you can't have any other investment and make money, you could still make money with something other than crypto.

But, the mindset of crypto is something else, it does allow you to make a bit of a different type of profit and that's what matters. Hopefully people would end up realizing this soon enough so that we would be able to invest not just for money, but for what bitcoin stands for.
..And what is that exactly some people might ask? I get you, maybe the way Bitcoin is been treated like a trade commodity was not the original Idea of satoshi creating Bitcoin but it is what it is today and that's what is attractive about Bitcoin and will continue to move Bitcoin even further than where it is now. There was a time people didn't care about Bitcoin because it had no Monetary value,

Sziky on the bitcoins won at the 2011 Starcraft tournament:
Laszlo Hanyecz Bitcoin Pizza Day

and I believe that there are other such histories. Big institutions and High Networth Individuals are coming into Bitcoin because they now just suddenly realized that there is money to be made in Bitcoin and the bottom line is, that anything that has to do with "INVESTMENT" is in direct correlation with profits.

Imo, when bitcoin is at its lowest price, that is the ideal time to purchase it and one should not look into the price day by day but overall. Currently, bitcoin is experiencing a decline, and this presents a buying opportunity.

In the current state of the market, you can buy and invest in Bitcoin at any time or at any time. Now is the right time to buy Bitcoin. It may take time for the market to get better but of course the market will remain in hype at any one time. But you will keep investing in the long run. You may have seen the goal of how good the market is.When the market moves from the highest position to this position, consider for yourself whether you will make a long-term investment.I would say you must invest long term. If you can invest long term, you can own a huge amount of money.

One of the best time to buy bitcoin that I've studied is during 1am GMT midnight, lots of countries tend to have sleep over, you waking up to huge dump or pump and that's when the daily candle always close. The other time that I've studied is during the morning at 9am Gmt, the 4hrs candle closes at that time. those two times are when I do make my target to buy bitcoin or any altcoins. Although bitcoin dumps in other time of the day and night respectively, there is no specific time that it do dump, but majority of the time I mentioned, bitcoin do dump hard or pump extremely hard. Just target 4hrs candle close respectively

Bitcoin is such a volatile asset that it doesn't matter if you buy it for $19.200 or $19.600. In one month from now, Bitcoin can easily be at $30.000 or $40.000 or it can drop to $10.000. If that happens, does it matter much if you bought at $19.200 or $19.600? Investing in Bitcoin pays off long-term. It's purchasing power will go up in contrast to fiat.

The long term is the main goal for those who believe that bitcoin will come back higher and higher than it is today. Hitting another $30,000 or even hitting that new ATH is still very possible. The main rule before investing is Don't invest because of FOMO, most people will be afraid to miss the trend so they get stuck on FOMO, there are many factors to think about. It doesn't matter whenever you invest in bitcoin, the most important thing is that you have enough information before deciding to invest, just set a target price to be achieved and hold on.

First time to hear about that relevance during the afternoon but I believe that there's no connection with that time. What I've observed was about when we're approaching the weekends.

Usually, most investors are gonna try to cash out at that time for expenditures during the day offs. That's what I've seen in the past but yeah, still counts that you've shared those points and thank you.

In general, buying Bitcoin in the afternoon is preferable since prices tend to fall. On average, the best time to buy Bitcoin is between 3 and 4 p.m. If you're someone who prefers trading in the peacefulness of night, you may also score a decent deal between 11 p.m. and midnight.

Sometimes the pattern is not like that, in other times in is upside down because all patterns can be changed when it's bullish or bearish situation.

I think that the best moment is the lowest price, and this does not depend on the time of day. So, the main thing is to guess the time globally.
All talking about that in the post above so is not about time, globally or locally, where have different for each people here. Sometimes every exchange always has a different price it's also always useful for arbitrators to get the opportunity.

Obviously some users have disagreed with the points raised for very obvious reasons. So, I try to I'll help you out. In my own opinion for best time of the day, month or year to buy bitcoin are:

  • When you are sober. Not too happy or too sad.
  • After you have done your own research and created a budget.
  • Not after you have watched the news.
  • Not when your friends are buying because they were told to buy the dip.
Lol, why does this sound like you’re trying to buy based on your emotional state which we know most times could always be wrong. No judgments based or made on emotions ever really turn out well, but as I said earlier, maybe it’s individual preferences that cause this kind of opinion. But, I actually do agree with your last ideas one should not buy the dip only because your friends have gotten theirs or they told you to get, it has to come from your own discretion and pocket/wallet budget.

You might be in the process of sorting. Both sorting and holding are welcome, since Bitcoin is trading at a reasonable price right now. You can only make money shorting the markets in the short term, but at a high risk. Despite the crypto bear market, people are still speculating on Bitcoin that's impressive. What motivates me to stay or go long here? Buy BTC makes sense to me since I understand the concept. Whenever we think BTC's price is at its lowest, just place an order.

It may be that there is any situation or a time of the day, where we can buy Bitcoin. But there are few things to consider before buying Bitcoin, first of all exchange matter, On what exchange you are gonna buy, And then it depends time zone, But I think It is good to buy BTC right afternoon. Because in the morning and end of the day, it can be critical to buy Bitcoin.

Because the time in each country is different, where I live I usually monitor Bitcoin prices starting at 7 am because at that time the market will open a new pattern and we can see where the market is going until this afternoon and also on the weekend. It is appropriate that we start shopping for coins, but when the market is falling like this it seems we should still set aside some capital to continue to get some crytpo assets for the long term.
Well the time it is?  lol it doesn't necessary mean morning or afternoon?  and not also in the weekend ? lol Bitcoin will increase or decrease in any time that may happen .

for me the best time to buy bitcoin? that is when you have a funds to keep it hold but long term and not short term .
this is crypto and everything may change easily or sometimes? instantly .

I don't have any specific time preference when buying Bitcoin. As long as the price is low and worth buying, then anytime would be the best time. We can't rely on the time that others are suggesting because we have different time zones and the movement of Bitcoin every hours is not consistent. Buy when you're capable and when the price will be profitable in the future.

I don't think this way will work. This suggestion can't be  the best time for trade. There are two types of trading, one is short-term trading and the other is long term trading , And I think the best time for trading is selected according to the type of trading.
This suggestion might be little helpful for short term trading. But the time you are talking about is based on which country?  Maybe one time in your country now and another time in my country. But I think if you really want best time for trading then you should know the candle analysis.
And Now it is the best time for long-term traders to do trade on bitcoin.

the analysis is very wrong analysis concerning the time to buy cryptocurrency that is no time that is stipulated to buy cryptocurrency those times you made mention is not a factor so you can buy anytime you feel like buying

2. They say, you can also get a good deal from 11 pm to midnight.
all those things are wrong directive you come perform your deals with cryptocurrency both nights midnight afternoon and morning so do not believe such recommendations as a newbie I know you will be filled with different information and not all the informations are necessary and important

Today the price of Bitcoin is fluctuating between 1900 thousand dollars, but in a few days the price of Bitcoin will go down further. If you want to use that opportunity, you have to wait patiently for some time. We can make a profit by investing as much as we can in the downward market of Bitcoin.

Buy it when the prices are down and you have money in the pocket. there is no ideal time to buy. There is ideal time of hodling. If you want a quick profit. I don't think this is the right time as the market is still in devaluation mode and the prices to me seem like, they will fall further. So yes you can stay assured that bitcoin like previously will rise. But  for that you will need to hodl your bitcoins for quite some time.
The ideal time to buy bitcoin would be too risky as you will need to real time watch the market as there will be some point where you can buy bitcoin at a certain point to be able to gain a huge profit. But still any time during the bearish market would be a great buy as previous indicator suggest that crypto will rise or pump after a few months. This also best apply for long term investors.
Yeah and it's not just the timezone, the erratic movement can fall at the time you selected and you will get rekt if you are doing the same thing everyday.
That is why there's no right time to buy. It could be pumping at 6 o'clock today but tomorrow it might not.
OP seems to be trying to attempt a cheat code by using time but it won't work.
This is money we are talking about coming in and out from an exchange that can be accessed internationally. There's no way it will easy to predict with a repetitive movement.

Buy it when the prices are down and you have money in the pocket. there is no ideal time to buy. There is ideal time of hodling. If you want a quick profit. We can say that it is the best time for long-term investors. Buying bitcoin is the best investment you can make during this period. However, if you wait a little longer, you can buy bitcoin at a lower price and make more profit. In my opinion the ideal price is $13k. The value of bitcoin will be $100k for a few years and we will have made a very good profit.

For me personally there is no specific timezone as I am not investing heavily daily but at have bought at few intervals some sats and just keeping them for long term and have sold some also in previous year. But if you say about timezone then few traders i know prefer Midnight trading to buy the coins so you see there is difference to your investment approach like short term or long run. When prices are down then it's best to invest for me.

*Source : When is the best time to buy Bitcoin
Lol , now it is a Time frame that need to be choose to buy? at least there are allot time when to buy ?   Grin

I never believe in this part because I know that Bitcoin price will only increase depend on how we uses this and how we buy and sell cryptocurrency .

Just buy amount that extra from your pocket and you will be saved for sure.

It is known that the best time to buy bitcoin is when it is cheaper, but how do you know when that time is? ? and why a day and why a specific time? I understand that bitcoin should not be bought when it is going up, one day I bought bitcoin going up and then it fell a lot and I had to wait a long time for it to go up, but if it ran away waiting a little longer I would have bought lower, those things are difficult

You can tell it's just another clickbait article from just what OP posted here. I won't even bother to click that link. Let alone the fact that there are different time-zones, even if it's hypothetically same time in whole world that still wouldn't affect Bitcoin price. There is no best time to buy Bitcoin, there is low price and high price and you can only find the difference after it happens. There is no logical reason for Bitcoin to go up in weekdays as well. It's a 24/7 live market that never stops and somebody always see an opportunity in any time-frame.

"They say, you can also get a good deal from 11 pm to midnight." This is pretty funny. Who says this? Grin I can't even find any connection about this and Bitcoin price.

The best time for buying bitcoin is when it is at its lowest. Like now, bitcoin is facing a dip and this can be used as an opportunity for buying bitcoin.
everybody feeling is that the best opportunity and the best time to buy cryptocurrency is when the market is bearish so actually a normal sense that is normal time to buy cryptocurrency for those people that don't have estimate budget of buying or investing in cryptocurrency that is the exact time they have the opportunity to purchase it. But average person who knows the rules of cryptocurrency and they have been investing in cryptocurrency for long time do invest with cryptocurrencies anytime it feels that it is a normal kind of buying cryptocurrency because of it experience and secondly what give them the knowledge to buy cryptocurrency whenever it is high or when it is low, it is because they are a holder what currency for some years difference and they do that they will make profit.

I think that there is no guarantee that it will be followed every single day so let us not expect waiting on the exact time  frames as we can only get disappointed. It's still possible for the price to dump at any times so if ever you catch it by the time you open your screens then you shouldn't hesitate to grab the opportunity as the price can change again later on.

Weekend is a time for day off for some workers. Not only that the price increase because someone will buy but there will also be sellers during this times. Traders are usually the ones that follows those patterns you describe there op because they are too strict or perfectionist. A small change in the price for them can already make a big difference.

I guess things like time of day matter sometimes, but not generally. If there truly is a consistent pattern and a person is a trader, then playing on these differences of the price can be rewarding (especially if you're operating a big budget). But if it's a purchase for a long-term hodling, I really don't think it's worth a second thought, and things like more long-term trends (such as the price this week compared to last week or this month compared to last month) matter more. After all, the difference of buying BTC for $40k and $20k is very singificant and can be a matter of a month or so.

This strategy is useless, as all traders are not from your county or time zone.
It’s just for own pleasure to say that during afternoon, you can get Bitcoins for comparatively low price.
I would like to add that there is no perfect time in a day to buy the Bitcoins.
Whenever possible and if you extra money to invest, then just buy it. Don’t worry about the price.
As Bitcoins are such coins that you will surely get profit, but yes it will take time.
Nevertheless let’s see what other people have opinions on the OP.

Bear economic situation can obliterate any portfolio value and they have a risky tendency to delay for longer than anybody anticipates. Luckily, we've Bitcoin one of the beneficial things and motivation to contribute on it regardless of anything. It's sure that BTC market will pullbacks which give investors fair return. Anyway, the individuals who center around his speculation and spend time exploring could flourish them when trends bullish again.

The value of cryptocurrencies fluctuates greatly and is considered a volatile asset class. Because of this, many people believe that they should try to time their investments by making purchases during particular windows in order to receive the best possible price. But since investors all over the world trade cryptocurrencies constantly, it is impossible to predict when the best time is to buy.

Dollar-cost averaging is your best option if you want to invest in cryptocurrencies. With this approach, you make purchases gradually over a long period of time. Even if you make investments at times that don't turn out to be particularly low, you'll still catch times when they are extremely low, so things might even out.

Those are some good points.

I would add that automation usually is the most reliable answer to almost everything.

You can always setup an automatic transfer and/or buy with different banks and exchanges. You could do this every month for a fixed amount every time.

It's the same with saving, and investing. Set it once at levels you're comfortable with, and continue with your life, monitoring it from time to time.

If your situation changes, you can adjust the value, but keep it always active.

There are correlations between timezone, most actively trading time and best time to have cheapest transaction fee. I think it will be reflected on price too and there is correlation between price fluctuation and timezone. However, there is no such best time of days to buy Bitcoin. If the market has no serious crash, price is not much significantly different within 24 hours of a day.

Some charts for transaction fees as well as most actively and least actively trading hours.

Best time of days, it depends on each person. If you are looking for time when you buy Bitcoin with least risk of crash after that, you will try to find hours with most boring trading activities, with very little fluctuation of price.

If you are looking at crash to buy dip and enjoy bounce, it is a different approach and you will look at different hours (most actively trading hours as crashes will cause panic, huge liquidations, huge trading volume, etc.)

Sounds like a good idea but this is too just speculation who knows if these sources came from a pumping group where they will gonna show you it's working first then they will gonna make their moves when some people bought a big amount of bitcoins then they will change their course. Don't be fooled by such kinds of tips whether it's real or not, make your own decision and your own research about it because nothing can lure you into their trap if you know what you're doing and importantly you can save yourself from losing your investment.

Best time to buy Bitcoin is always 10 years ago or so.

It doesn't really matter at what time of the day you're buying. Price will move up and down randomly in the short term, averaging out any differences in the long term.

Also, if you're doing this often, probably you're not using a lot of fiat, which also means that the differences in price are minuscule.

There's no need to worry about timing this, just be consistent and patient.

When its 4 pm here, its not same everywhere in the world so the article you're talking about isn't really effective unless you're talking about an exchange which is operated in only certain regions or probably matches with p2p like LBC and others. Apart from these there is no best time, right now is good to go all the time and make your purchase orders.

I would say it's time whenever you have available fiat. And don't worry with the price of Bitcoin. Just stack sats everytime you have fiat available and you don't need it in a rush. DCA everyweek or so... I do it monthly because unfortunately my month is always shorter than my wage! xD So I have to do it at the very beginning when I still have fiat available and then I just have to wait for the next month. I'm one of those that live paycheck to paycheck!

Best time of the day? I hate to say this but there is no best time of the day for us to buy Bitcoin. Anything could happen without warning whether if it goes up or down unexpectedly. Although I do dollar-cost averaging (DCA) on Bitcoin every month, I just don't really mind about the date and time because I knew that whenever it goes down it'll always come back stronger than ever just like in the past few years of numerus bear runs.

*Source : When is the best time to buy Bitcoin

As others have already said, this is pretty dumb because there are 24 different timezones around the world, yet you've given zero context to which one you would be buying in. You should learn a lot more about how the world works and business before seeking to give advice on such topics, as this seems like very naive advice to be giving. There will be certain timezones that you could potentially target, maybe outsize the general waking hours of the US who will tend to have more money to buy into the market or any sell off might happen outside those hours. Generally active trading is a poor strategy for over 90% of people, it takes a lot of practice and time of day will have very limited impact on results.

This is a pure crap. It doesn't make sense logically let alone technically.
Let me analyse this;
  • What is the reason that you want to buy bitcoin by 3pm and 4pm? Because it is when the bitcoin price drops. Let me ask you, if you watch your chart by 7am and the bitcoin price has already dropped, will you still wait for the said 3pm or you will buy by 7am? This shows that your chart shows when the price is dropped and not by time.
  • I have a friend that leaves in Asia, so how can I reconcile my time with his, such that we can both buy by 3pm or 4pm?

These craps doesn't work and if they had everly shown signs of working, it's in early days of bitcoin when the volume is small and any slight strategy of few people seems to play out.

Total bullshit if you ask me. We all know that the US trading hours are different from EU and Asian trading hours so which hours are the best. You decide to buy in the afternoon of the US time and the EU has a big dump a few hours later or there's a big pump from Asia...

Decide what are you buying bitcoin for? Do you want to buy in the afternoon to sell in the morning f the next day for 1% in profit or do you want to hold and wait for a real move?

I have read an article that there is a best time to buy bitcoin. By considering these patterns, we can be able to buy bitcoin at a lowest price.

Sorry to say that I personally do not agree with the points listed below because they are all temporal, by temporal, I means they can only work for a very short time if at all, it's works, I will give my reasons.

Quote
1. it’s better to buy Bitcoin in the afternoon since prices tend to drop. While the best time to buy Bitcoin is from 3 pm to 4 pm.
When you say afternoon, I could have agreed cus we all have afternoons, though we all have different afternoons, like my afternoon can be your morning and your afternoon can be my evening or even night, and Bitcoin has one price globally, it's not like fiat currencies that varies in usd price from country to country, now here is the logic, we all have different timezones, bitcoin does not have a price that varies from timezone to timezone, it has one price globally, so if you are buying in your afternoon and I am buying in my afternoon, it means we are buying bitcoins at different price, you see this doesn't make any sense.

Quote
2. They say, you can also get a good deal from 11 pm to midnight.
My comment on point 1 should tell why I also disagree with this point too.

Quote
3. Weekend is also the best for people to consider and decide on buying bitcoin since many business people trade Bitcoin on weekdays which causes Bitcoin price go up and the demand increase.
I can agree to this to some extent, but then, the reason (that people trade bitcoins on weekdays) is not strong reason enough to qualify this as the best time to buy Bitcoin.

Quote
4. We should also avoid buying bitcoin in paydays since many people get their paychecks in the middle and at the end of the month. When people have more money in their account, people tempted to spend it and Bitcoin prices can rise quickly.

Still not a enough reason.

Quote
Does anyone follow the same this practices? or would you mind share your own practices if you have, to help us get an idea where is best time to buy bitcoin.

To be honest, Ive never followed this kind of practice, Infact, I didn't even know such a practice exist.
For me, I always buy Bitcoin for two purposes.
1. When I have a need for it for personal use.
2. As an investment

1.
When I have need for bitcoin for personal use, it doesn't matter what price bitcoin is trading at, it doesn't matter whether it is going up or down, I just buy it and use it for what ever I am buying it for.

2.
If I am buying bitcoin as an investment, then I monitor that market and try to see how low the price can go, then I wait and try to buy at the lowest price, and if after buying, price continues to down, I will keep buying more if I have funds left, but if I don't have funds left, I just hodl what ever amount I've bought until am in profit, then I can decide whether to sell or keep hodling.

If truly this was the case ho you can easily get the best Bitcoin prices then most would have been buying at a good price but you know why this cannot work?
1. Different time zone all over so the timing won't work.
2. Even if it were the same time zone all over hypothetically and people know this, guess what, higher demand during these times will mean what? force the price up.

I don't think that any of this actually works. I mean even if you know when to buy, you still have to figure out when are you going to sell.
Let me decompose your statements for you:

1) Ok, you buy in the afternoon, but we're in a bear market. Next month Bitcoin is down 25% from where you bought.
2) Same as first.
3) This is non-sense. The fact that an asset is traded more during weekdays does not correlate in any shape or form with its increase in price. In other words --> trading activity <> buying activity. See the first 2 points.
4) Believe me, money coming from paychecks is nothing compared to the trading activity of institutional investors (of the so-called 'whales' essentially). Even if the fact that people make most of their Bitcoin investments on paydays the impact on the market would be insignificant is what I'm saying.

I am not sure about the "afternoon" part, because this is not like the stock market, bitcoin is traded 24*7 for 365days and hence somewhere or the other it is afternoon.

But I do see differences during paydays and weekends, the former showing a slight bullish trend and the later showing stagnancy or even a bear trend.

To be honest, time of day is not that much applicable to an asset that is traded every second in my opinion. Some others might think otherwise - but I feel it is an oversimplification of trying to fit bitcoin into the already existing fiat asset classes.

For me the best time to buy bitcoin is when it is in the bear market, that is what newbies should keep in mind.

There are different countries people available here it will better if you put utc time here. And it is doesn’t matter for holders but if you do day trading and want some profit Daily then it can work for you. But it will not happen every days. It is just happen for some days but if market get crash then it will not work. And you will get a big loss. So i suggest you to do hold. Now market is on soo dip so it is good time to buy and keep holding.

Nah, I don't think there is a best time since the market is open 24x7x365. So somewhere around the globe, it might be afternoon for traders, but on the other part, it might be midnight.

But I remember this report 2 years ago: New Analysis Finds That Mondays Are the Best Days to Buy Bitcoin.

There is some data presented in it, but then again, it's really up to us to believed on this report or not.

The perfect to purchase Bitcoin is before and after the closing of daily candle UTC timezone depends on the trend. Because the price usually drop are recover a bit before it continue the trend to fill the CME gap.

We have different time zone so it will be very hard to get the perfect timing forbest buying opportunity unless the event same to all of us which is daily close and open.

Timezone.  Cheesy I think he forgot that.
There's a good day but not time and I think it was discussed in the Trading Discussion but sadly it's difficult to find. Also, not everyone agrees with the theory since there are circumstances it doesn't really happen.
All you could do is keep an eye over all the exchange and see if there's a similiraty on which day it is best to buy. But I doubt there is a real perfect time to do it.

And which timezone does this article give? Or does it assume that everyone is living inside North America (which ironically has 4 different timezones itself)?

If you do not have an assumption of what timezone these times are based in, then you can easily come to the wrong conclusions about the best times of day for you.

All of this are pure conclusion with no proof that people look at this as reason for them to execute their orders. But actually you can buy anytime you want as long as you are in right mind doing decision because bitcoin is volatile and every move is crucial on this. Weekend is somehow good but it doesn't give us guaranteed good entrants if we want to buy on this day because sometimes in crypto market didn't move according to what we like.

Why do you have to mind "best time of day to buy Bitcoin"?

Daily trading is bad as you will lose your mind with market changes. Dollar Cost Averaging is good and with it, you don't have to mind price change in a few days, few months. Therefore best time of day to buy Bitcoin is not a solid question.

The website unbanked.com looks informative and I will find some informative articles to read. Thanks for sharing.

You're going to get off the hook for plagiarism

yes there is some ettituete that when someone says they read something, others might want to be interested in reading it too after seeing what the poster says.. but its not a plagiaristic requirement to reference it, where there are punishments like getting sued for not quoting the source..

this is not some scholars dissertation portal
its a discussion forum

it doesnt really matter about plagiarism. most peoples posts are not individual thoughts anyway, but just repeated scripts of something they heard a friend say or read somewhere.

the amount of times i heard people repeat silly things word for word from someone else in their little boys club, or something they read that was spoonfed to them does irritate me, but at the same time its not plagiarism.

yes its good to reference stuff just for detail sake of people wanting to find out more, if they are interested in a topic.  but its not an actual requirement..

like its not plagiarism to say that bitcoin is a purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online
payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.

yes its from the white paper of bitcoin. but thats not plagiarism even if it is word for word. no money is being made from saying it. and this forum does not require people to have to reference the bitcoin white paper every time they say it.

dont be anal about thinking plagiarism is a big thing on a discussion forum.  this is not a university.
its a discussion forum not a scholars dissertation submission portal.

there is no academic credit system that gives people a qualified degree/certificate that can change someone's life prospects by this discussion forum

I have read an article...

You're going to get off the hook for plagiarism because you say you read it in an article and you're not trying to pass it off as your own, but next time you'd better put the link to the article. I'll put it for you.

When is the Best Time to Buy Bitcoin

About the article, I see that there is some bullshit in it to be honest with you, as other fellows have pointed out:

If you do such claims it would be interesting to know in what time zone you are, since otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

About the rest, it may make some sense and it seems to me that they want to draw some parallel with the stock market, but I wouldn't go by any of that to buy, and I don't think it's going to make that much difference even if they're right.

This should also be considered, which exchange?, when to buy it on global exchange where that many countries apply salary at the end of the month (between the 25th and 30th), this makes a difference with my country, where many employees get payment salary in begin of the month (date between 1st and 6th), I think we have to pay attention where to buy it between global and local exchange because this the point, even though only have a bit different price.

You do not have to consider all these if you want to hold on long term, also considering it will only mislead if you want to trade.

1. it’s better to buy Bitcoin in the afternoon since prices tend to drop. While the best time to buy Bitcoin is from 3 pm to 4 pm.

2. They say, you can also get a good deal from 11 pm to midnight.
Countries have different time zones, afternoon in one country can be evening or morning in another country, so do not believe that. Also this is more like trading, but trading is beyond that.

3. Weekend is also the best for people to consider and decide on buying bitcoin since many business people trade Bitcoin on weekdays which causes Bitcoin price go up and the demand increase.
I also still see this more as trading, trading is beyond this too bull market sometimes can start from weekend, not common but it do happen.

See the last weekend, even bitcoin dropped on Monday.

Buying  bitcoin is like going fishing. The best time for fishing is early in the morning just when you see the sun start rising and then at the end of the day during the dawn. These are the times when the fish are most hungry. Maybe not so coincidentally, these are also the best times for making trades. Get up from the bed early in the morning and buy/sell some bitcoins when you are hungry. (from 6A.M. to 10A.M.)

Also from 5 P.M. to 8-9 P.M. works near flawlessly as well.

Imho the "best time of the day" may give some hits to day traders, but not much else. Also if it's a "known thing" (heh) speculators may also try to take advantage of this.
If you want to buy and hold for longer, DCA tends to be the best bet. Small variation from different hours (btw, for what timezone were those hours?) will not matter.

its always afternoon somewhere in the world.. but nice try

best time to trade is when you are awake and able to see if a daily price is at its high or low. rather then just trading at any random price whilst your half asleep because someone else told you and others to

the point is if you shout to everyone to buy at a certain time, everyone does this causing a pump. where everyone stupidly buys on a high and the one shouting out the commands of time to purchase has already bought before the pump and about to sell  minutes after the time at the hype tipping point.

its called pump and dump

funny part is by others following these practices. the worse times to buy then becomes the times mentioned. as they become the new daily high moments.

as for the payday thing..
some people are gamblers. they want to spend their months money the moment it hits their account. others are smart investors. pay off their bills/debt and then a week-fortnight later use whatever disposable income is left on investing/saving.

also not everyone gets paid at the same time.
.. but trying to instigate a common time frame people should buy(pump) is too obvious to some as a opportunity to also dump at the tipping point minutes/hours later..
unsurprisingly when everyone does this, a scheduled pump becomes a dump and the whole schedule you plan goes opposite with everyone taking advantage of the opposite by selling on the pump instead of buying on the scheduled pump

If you do such claims it would be interesting to know in what time zone you are, since otherwise it doesn't make any sense. Also the other things are true, especially that the price would drop a little bit to the end of the month. For example many mining farms have to pay for their monthly expenses like employee or electricity, so they dump some coins. This system doesn't work however in a strong bullrun.
