VPN is not just for being anonymous. Many countries actually have geographical barrier, VPN enables to disable that barrier. I agree with you on other points. Appreciate your thought.

While you make a good point that you shouldn't be using Paypal to buy VPN service if you want to stay anonymous, that's not why most people are using VPN.
Most people just use it to circumvent geo-restrictions for media services.

In those cases it doesn't really matter that much that you're anonymous, you're just using a VPN to access Netflix or Hulu from abroad.

It is very surprising to find out that many majors name in the industry is not accepting Bitcoin or any other kind of crypto. What the reason behind this, do they have something to hide from us?

so far all the good VPN provides are accepting bitcoin payments, in fact they have been doing this for a very long time, probably ever since bitcoin became a thing and gained some popularity back in 2010ish. there is a good website called https://thatoneprivacysite.net/ which was created by someone on reddit at first with just a google doc thing and then with a lot of additional information which you can visit to see the list of all of them with their methods of payments. you can see the good ones there are already accepting bitcoin.

+1 for https://thatoneprivacysite.net.

I would also highly recommend https://www.privacytools.io. They have a good list of VPNs as well many other privacy related tips, tools, programs and links.

Hello,

Found this article : https://anonymster.com/best-vpn-accepting-bitcoin

It is interesting to see that many people are actually buying a VPN and still using Paypal or Credit Cards to pay.

Keep in mind when you are doing so even the VPN provider doesn't keep logs your name and payment data will still be recorded by the payment provider (Visa, Mastercard, Paypal) and might even be kept by the provider.

Then what is the point of getting a VPN that doesn't keep log ?

It is very surprising to find out that many majors name in the industry is not accepting Bitcoin or any other kind of crypto. What the reason behind this, do they have something to hide from us?
