Enterprise Windows probably makes it easier to disable updates, search, and other crap
that waste resources. Which gets to my point, it's not so much the OS but how its set up.
It's the bloat that hurts performance.

Dedicated mining OSs, like the one previously mentioned, are finely tuned without any excess bloat.
Tuning Windows for mining efficiency can be challenging.
Why did you recommend this enterprise LTSC OS? Are they better than Pro versions or you reason is just only about deactivation of windows 10 updates ? OS from 2019 are more stable for mining but I'm not sure how they will perform with Radeon Vega 56 cards for mining
Radeon Vega 56 is also not a new card and it can mine well on Windows 10.
But for these cards it is better to use Linux systems, like hive os, because they are more convenient.
The main difference between new versions of Windows is security and a lot of inconvenience for users. But for any video cards, I would use older versions of Windows

What is the most stable windows 10 version for mining? I did some research online are People are pointing to version 1909 but I just want to hear other people's opinion on this forum instead
If you have the option not to use Windows 10, then do it. Better to use older versions of 2019. It's easy to turn off updates and spyware with tweaks there. The security of the software on the farm is not important to you.
I also recommend that you use Hive os and similar operating systems. It is much more convenient.

It's not that easy for a new Linux user to start mining on the OS but thanks to the likes of minerstat OS and hive OS they are easier to understand and setup by yourself, also there are videos about how to install them on your rigs too through YouTube, it's a matter of choice

I am mining with Windows 10 and I must say it is stable but not as stable as mining OS-es.The hash rate don't fall even with the newest updates and in fact sometimes the AMD cards performs better with these new updates as they are designed to perform better with fully up to date operating system as they say in the official AMD page. However if you want a set and forget mining rig you have to migrate to Linux because Windows don't offer such reliability as of yet.

Use hive OS and you will kiss windows OS goodbye forever, though some things are more positive on windows than mining OS but whatever that is better get a laptop for that, I used to hate mining OS until I gave it a try and I was blown away, JayDDee if there are windows 10 OS that are dedicated for mining pls drop link as this can help those that are still using w10 OS for mining

use Windows 10 Entreprise LTSC or Linux ubuntu LTS

Hi dedizonesv2 I'm curious why you recommend this windows 10 OS as this is the first time I'm hearing about it, is there any reasons why this is better than other windows 10 OS? Thank you

OP I think it's better to download hiveOS and start mining, it's more stable than windows 10 and you will get better hashrate performance but on windows you will keep losing hashrate a bit here and there

Mining capability on windows 10 OS has nothing to do with the OS version, the only thing I've noticed in the past is once a new update gets downloaded on your OS you will lose few hashrate unless you uninstalled that update yourself, this is why many recommend Linux and mining OS instead
