I suggest using myetherwallet.com if u are mining ETH.
Their wallet supports ERC-20 which means u can store tokens from airdrops.

I recommend MyEtherWallet wallate for ETH and ERC20 tokens. It is very safe and secure.Private key of  MyEtherWallet is under our control.

Coinbase is good wallet with exchange facilities for Bitcoin,ETH and Bitcoincash. But the private key of coinbase is not in our control.

Blockchain.info is safe and secure wallet for Bitcoin.

most secure wallets are hardware wallets.

I highly recommend signing up at exarpy.com. It has an instantaneous transaction speed, does not keep a user database (so no hack potential), and has a flat fee of .01 XRP for transaction, whereas all other wallets charge a percentage.

Since you have different kinds of coins unfortunately you also need to have different kinds of wallets for each specific coin.

Bitcoin: Electrum | https://electrum.org
Ripple: Toastwallet | https://toastwallet.com

For Bitcoin, I highly recommend you Electrum Wallet. You will get your seed and private keys. Electrum allow you to fix the transaction fee and to receive bitcoins using the same public address many times to reduce fees on future withdraw. For EThereum and Tokens ERC20, I highly recommend you Myetherwallet, then you can access using the keystore encrypted with your password allowing you to not store the private key on your device. Hope it help you

I think Blockchain info is quite secure. It has a wallet that allows you to actually own your private keys, which is a big plus. Apart from this I would also recommend Bitpanda (Austria-based company), they offer wallets for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash and Bitcoin Cash.

There’s also exchanges (such as the ones that were already recommended in this thread) where you can directly purchase BTC or ETH for example (via Mastercard or bank transfer), so you might save minimally on fees. For Ethereum and all ERC20 tokens, I recommend MyEtherWallet (MEW) – you can create Paper Wallets (most secure I think), and additionally add another layer of security by utilizing a Hard Wallet like the Ledger Nano S.

To answer your question: Blockchain info is not an exchange platform so no – you cannot store other crypto other than Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash (I think) and ETH on there. For this you need to transfer your BTC or ETC to an exchange. This is where you can buy (via exchanging BTC or ETH for other cryptos) the altcoin you are interested in.

I think the most well-known exchanges are: Bittrex, Bitfinex and Poloniex. There’s also Coinmama and Cryptopia. Beware of holding large amounts of crypto on these exchanges however, exchanges are for exchanging or trading (daytrading for example), in my opinion – so I wouldn’t keep large amounts of crypto there. Bittrex, Bitfinex and Poloniex and Coinama are centralized exchanges – meaning in theory they could do whatever they choose with your funds, e.g. freeze them if they have their suspicions about a user’s activity (even if that person is 100% legit).

Then there are decentralized exchanges like EtherDelta, OpenLedger/Bitshares, IDEX and others… They are completely decentralized – as the name says – so you have less of that risk described above and also more immediate control of your coins. Some decentralized exchanges will work a bit less user friendly, but after watching 1-2 YouTube videos, you’ll get the hang of it.

Remember: Anybody can get hacked. Therefore I’d advise you to store your coins in a paper wallets or a hard wallet.

PS: My personal favorite would be Binance or KuCoin. They offer great bonuses so you can save in fees. Also, you do not lose any of the crypto you purchased, but - if you so choose - can pay any fees necessary in the respective currency (Binance Coin and Kucoin Shares) of the exchange platform.

Coinomi is a multi-asset wallet that supports every cryptocurrency and token you can dream of.  Using ShapeShift, they allow easy exchanges between any of the supported assets from within the interface. No identity-linking, no IP or transaction tracking, and your IP is even filtered through their servers for added anonymity. Its easy to verify security with their open source ecosystem.

I think blockchain wallet is the best wallet for storing bitcoin. It's really cool and easy to use for newbie.I am using it for couple of year's on my mobile and didn't faced any problems.I used coinbase also but sometimes my transactions stuck in coinbase for couple of days with no reason. So I don't recommend coinbase to anyone

Another thing is, If you use PC/laptop then you can download electrum Wallet.Only in electrum you will find some great security.I really recommend it.

Blockchain.info wallet is a bitcoin wallet. This type of wallet is not supporting/designed to store tokens or even altcoins. If you want a wallet that you can store altcoins and tokens you can use MEW (myetherwallet) . this wallet (MEW) is designed to store all kind of token and even an altcoin but not all.

You said Blockchain doesn't support ERC20 and myetherwallet should be used for ETH but I'm using Blockchain to manage my ETH.
How come I'm able to use Blockchain with ETH? Is Blockchain not good to be used with ETH, what's your advice?

I use Electrum. Use a hardwallet or a paper wallet for storage. If you don't have much, you can store on centralized wallets like Coinbase. It's convenient. But for large funds, it's a big no-no. Also, refer to the pinned topic here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/general-bitcoin-wallets-which-what-why-1631151. All the answers are there. There you will find a wallet that suit you best

Only use coinbase to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. But to store for long term? Definitely not. Coinbase can seize your funds for random reasons if they want to. If you want mobile wallets, stick to the ones whereas you have control over your private keys. Go for: Copay | Breadwallet | Mycelium

If you want to keep your coins secure, you might want to go for paper wallets. If you are going to use the wallet mostly for deposits then that might be a good option. Unless it is a privacy coin you can always keep track of it using a blockchain explorer (or download their wallet desktop app).

Blockchain.info is compatible with all tokens or not?

Hi, great question! It's hard for any of us to offer you one definitive answer. There are too many personal variables for you to consider that keeps us from making this decision for you. These variables range from the country you live in to the level of security you want to the technical college you have with Bitcoin transactions.

So, I'll offer a website to help you review your choices: https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/#/overview

And if you need a bit of guidance on narrowing down your choices, check this site out: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

If you have specific questions about any of these wallets, come back to us.

Good luck to you!

This reply is very helpful and kind.
And for me so far, the best wallet for different token is my ethereum wallet.

Are you looking for a bitcoin wallet or wallet which holds eth based tokens?

Blockchain.info is for bitcoin and it is a web wallet. It is not compatible with all the tokens.

Wallets such as mist or myetherwallet are compatible with all the ethereum based tokens. You might want to do some more research on the blockchain, coins and tokens.
