Based on your area and I will suggest using Kraken for you. They are having SEPA ability, it's good to exchange site rather than coinbase.

I would only use Coinbase to initially buy Bitcoins. Then if you want to do trading frequently between fiat and Bitcoin, use an exchange like Poloniex or one of the other good ones by transferring from Coinbase to that exchange. Then if you want to cash out permanently, transfer back to Coinbase.

Do not use Coinbase. The US government wants to get all their customer's information and transaction records. I will not risk using them and have my name recorded in their database. Coinbase has declared that they will fight the case but that will cost them a lot. I believe they will give out all their records sooner or later.

Yes. I would strongly suggest using a desktop o local Wallet than Coinbase.
Localbitcoins may have a high value than coinbase but it is better than that in many ways. For EU people kraken is good compared to localbitcoin.

Guys hello, quite new here as you can see. Whats the best way to trade fiat for btc and other cryptos? I have been using Coinbase but it takes 3business days and since im from EU Im paying fees to do so. Also Coinbase rates btc higher than it actually is for extra profit.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

localbitcoin is the recommended place for new people to buy bitcoin or another crypto currency because you can buy with instant and don't have to wait for long time. i think localbitcoin is really good and the fees is not high too so maybe you can try to make a deal with the seller on there.

For greater variety of paying options I would suggest localbitcoin.com it's better than coinbase, yes you may require to communicate with the seller but it's not much of a problem just make sure you only buy from trusted sellers.

1.STOP using coinbase. If you still have your coins in their wallets, please use either desktop wallets like Electrum or blockchain.info (I don't suggest using online wallets anyway)

2.Use localbitcoins instead.Kraken would do but from my experience using a better p2p oriented exchange is always safe.

3.Localbitcoins do have cash trading option if you wish to.

I agree. But OP keep in mind that if you decide to use Localbitcoins you might pay at a higher price because that market is very thin. The question now will depend on how much Bitcoins are you planning to buy? If it will be over $1000 worth then it might be good to use an exchange and wire transfer money there. For small amounts Localbitcoins is good enough.

withdraw use SEPA bank wihout fee, and pair bitcoin/euro kraken is the best volume transaction
and another bitcoin, kraken support altcoin trading too

does this kraken exchange also have leverage for bitcoin and what amount? how many altcoin there are there, because i always used poloniex and bittrex for altcoin but if kraken is a good alternative i can choose that

I am not sure that this will work for your or not but I am using localbitcoins as well as 1Broker to trade bitcoins with fiat as well as other cryptocurrencies. I use localbitcoins to trade fiat with multiple payment options which are usually domestic and I use 1Broker to trade forex and other cryptocurrencies. I think the fees for these exchanges are cheap than others.

Sure LocalBitcoins could have scammers, but out of 500 trades I ever did, only a few times someone tried to scam me.

And when they did it was Obvious... Both people are nervous not to get scammed so it is very reliable to buy and sell Bitcoins if you need an easy to use platform with little registrations required.

I recommend the Wire Transfer method,... wait until everything clears and then click confirm for the trade.. until everything is settled Do NOT release or confirm the trade is finished..

Also their escrow system is remarkable and if you keep screenshots and keep all evidence of the trade you can always win your case. Just be honest!

Coinbase have limited number of fiat-crypto pairs that you can trade. Try poloniex because they are the number one altcoin trading platform and you will have chance to make more profit trading many pairs than what you can earn from coinbase.

Buy bitcoin from coinbase if you find it easy and reliable, deposit those bitcoin in poloniex and start trading bitcoin along with other altcoins.

Trying to choose the best (cheapest rate/fastest TX) way to buy BTC with FIAT, EURO in this case.

In my experience I would suggest localbitcoins to have btc trade and if you wish to have a altcoin tradings prefer yobit and polenix. I have heard in yobit you can make trade for any kind of altcoins.

Ok just checked Localbtc and prices are quite higher.
About Kraken, the price I am paying for BTC is the one listed under "Last"?
The prices are quite higher because you do get to sell at the same margins.Surprisingly, people buy it!
Kraken I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about but yes that should be the actual price.Actually,it depends what are you planning to do.Trade ? Liquidate your bitcoins ?

Hey again, and thanks for the answers.
With Localbitcoins i gotta be aware of scammers right? How do I know who to trust? I will create an account there to start checking by myself but some advice is appreciated again.
And what is the safest way to do it? Paypal, sepa transfers, something else?

Thanks!! Cheesy

Actually, there several exchange sites which you can trade fiat for btc or altcoins. You can check bitcoinwisdom.com where you can find kraken in there to solve your problem. But if you have Any Visa card, or Paypal you can also try virwox.com, or poloniex.

if you just want to buy bitcoin or sell it once in a while don't think too much about price and fees, just look for the most trusted place to do it.

but if you want to trade then you have to check all the exchanges out to find the one with best fees for you. but most of them are the same since they are mostly using the same fiat systems when dealing with banks.
for Europe one of the best options is kraken.

In my experience if you need only a small amount of Bitcoin go to localbitcoins.com. It is easy to use and more convenient  because you do not have to deal with the banks except maybe for over the counter deposits and withdrawals of that is what you prefer to pay and get the cash.

Another good easy way to get Bitcoin is find an exchange that allows you to buy BTC with your credit card. Bitstamp is already starting this depending on the country. There might be also other exchanges starting to do this.
