Since this is now "resurrected", i have same question.

Is mtgox best posible way to exhange BTC to € eur?
(and yes, tried search and found this)
I now have some BTC in my wallet and it's time to pay electric bill. Now i'm wondering that what is best way to BTC-->€?

Try www.bitmarket.eu

I only use bitcoinexchange, no problems so far  Smiley (I only buyed from them but don't see why it would be different if you sold them coins)
For me it is the easiest way of getting btc, I don't have a credit card (and really not in the urge of getting one), I don't use paypall and wire transfers are free within the EU. Smiley

Max,

i am german and the easiest way for me was to transfer USD via credit card (3% fee) to Mtgox directly or via paypal. within seconds, you have the funds on mtgox and then within seconds can buy your BTC. All those steps are then 0% fee and the major benefit of mtgox vs. other exchanges is the minimal spread.

i dont mind the 30d period to keep the funds at mtgox because i am not in a hurry to sell them :-) and can wait some days before buying sth for BTC's

(i am in no way having a conflict of interested in mtgox, just sharing my great experience)

best would be :

as bitcoin is a global thing, we should also have a global exchange for all currencies

Mtgox could add multiple exchange options and just use actual spot prices to convert.

should we ask mtgox? i do not know who manages it

I've sold some bitcoins to them. Wire transfer arrived just a few days later.

I would like to change some Bitcoins for Euros. What is the best way to
do it? Any experiences with www.bitcoinexchange.com ?

Max

I've used bitcoinexchange before. Their exchange rate is sometimes unfavourable compared to what what you can get at MtGox, sometimes favourable. The difference can be 30% but it usually levels out within a few days.

Bear in mind that at MtGox you will need to pay paypal fees + paypal USD/EUR exchange commission. At bitcoinexchange EUR bank transfers are free.

Since volume at bitcoinexchange is low, it's only good for small amounts at a time.
