It would be nice if they had a popup or some kind of indicator to say someone has quoted you. I dont know how easy that would be to implement though. Would make it alot easier to follow whos replied to your posts.
I sort of got your point here , you are asking something like twitter notifications when someone "mentions you".
don't think a feature like that exists but would be cool to have it.

You can see if someone has replied to one of your threads by visiting the section you put the thread in and youll see (new) in blue on each topic that has new replies

Oh, thanks, the posted links is really awesome. it does not show many information but it helps to get a list of own threads.

And to know if someone has quoted your post, that's something that AFAIK it doesn't exist yet so you have to do more of a manual checking upon using the show new replies.

What is the best way / strategy with this board software in order to follow its own threads and posts?
i know there is "show new replies to your posts" but i can not recognize that someone has answered or quoted one of my posts.
This would be very helpful.
