Family party is in 1 hour.  I know how to use bitcoin, so be as technical as you want.  I wanna make a sweet ass looking wallet and send a little coinage to it.  I havent done this in a long time - where is the best resource for it?

Blockchain.info's wallet does not look cool and would not make a nice gift.

I had seen this, it is the most obvious choice I'd say when googled...I did end up doing it. I was only wondering about its security and wanted pro opinions.  Should I advise the recipient to move the coins?  The priv key just hangs out on display.  note I did not select BIP38.

The amount of bitcoin is very small, I am curious as a point of order.

Let us suppose my internet security is flawless and I made no errors on my part.  I may have actually done so, but for the sake of a question let's say I did everything "right".

As I understand Armory is the way to print and store large sums, or?
