Another newbie asking for the best way to start an ICO, so you don't know what you are doing huh? Why not try to do some studying first and learning the right way of it. Make sure that you had a very good road map and it's not just something that wants to get a lot of investor and after it will be gone and pop like a bubble.

Like buying into an ICO requires a ton of research, launching one requires more. You may be in too deep at this stage.

have a nice front page, with the face of who is behind the project and nice explanation about your project, don't miss any detail, also do the ico like it was done with lisk, where who come later can have the same amount as who come early, this is what many ico are doing now, you can use one of the template of the already good ico like waves or lisk

You basically outlined how it truly is. What we should tell OP is that making an altcoin is easy! However, making a good one is not! You have to have a good idea for an altcoin and not just make another shitcoin that nobody will ever care for. In the end, if you just made another shitcoin, it will not go anywhere but the dump and no one will really list your coin.

What are the innovations of altcoins will be offered? The coins must has fungtion that there are not on other altcoins,
the coins must has new innovations,
you must have professional developers of coin, official website, forum for comunity also completes informations about the coin,
don't forget advertising about your ICO.

The best way to start ICO.

* Prior to your ICO make show your development about your project on GitHub.
* Make all familiar what are you coming up and why that coin is required over the current existing coin.
* Advertise everywhere possible that you are coming up with an ICO.

But prior to this I would suggest you check how other coins came up with their ICO and then plan accordingly for your ICO.

For me the best way is a crowdsale. Leave the total amount for sale on an exchange, at the price you want.

Fofr you the best way is to sell it all to your friends by having a faux ICO, and then pump the price because you know who owns the coins

If you are just launching a clone coin better forget,if you do not have a business to back up your claims never mind,there;s a lot of clone coin here that offer ico that ended up dead or dev run away with investors money and another thing if you are going to launch a coin with anonymous newbie account people will shout scam in your announcement thread,so I discourage it.
