Apart from the two you mentioned, yobit and polonix, Bittrex is good to use fast and reliable with low or no issue at all, you can try it out.

Stop using yobit, you will just bring yourself an headache. Haven't you notice people are complaining on them.

But they are not giving some appropriate solutions on it, better not to use them though I'm not promoting any other site.

I'm just basing on most of the people's experience here.

Here is my 2 bits:

Polo: This was my favorite exchange, hands down the best.  Right now I would advise anyone to stay away and until they sort their shit out.  It might be growing pains like they say but more and more it looks like cryptsy 2.0.  I had actually gotten everything out of polo but then I switched some of my miners back to ZEC recently and forgot to look at the payout address and had a payout sent to their disabled ZEC wallet so now I'm a victim of their mess myself.  I am hoping they get their shit together.  They have a good interface, good trading pairs, good variety of coins.  But right now deposit and withdrawal issues, complete lack of response from support, I wouldn't go near it.

Bittrex: Always been good for me.  Decent interface.  Good variety of coins.  I have never needed support so I can't rate it but that says something itself, that nothing has ever malfunctioned such that I needed support. I have a couple BTC worth of balance here in various things and do my low volume or more obscure coin trading here.  Actually I do a little of my big name coin trading here too just to spread out my exposure in case there is an exchange hack so I have XMR and ZEC here too.  Just not a ton.

Kraken: I do most of my high volume trading here but only because I have a sense that it is more secure than other exchanges (and I moved here from polo).  I have had higher verification status on this exchange for a long time so crypto transfers in and out have always been totally without issue for me.  I gather that the majority of issues users have with them is fiat transfers in and out and support lag (including long lag getting verified).  They do appear to have legitimate growing pains.  The interface on kraken has always been terrible though.  It improved substantially with the acquisition of cryptowatch so it's usable now but just about everyone else has a better trade interface than kraken.  I do my higher volumes here on the big name coins like ETH, DASH, ZEC, XMR but I try to limit my on exchange balance to around 10ish BTC total value for all coins just so that if there is a hack or a Gox\Cryptsy incident I don't get obliterated.  It would still totally hurt obviously if I lost my balance there but it wouldn't wipe me out.

Yobit: This is a scam exchange but since I mine obscure coins sometimes it is a place I sometimes use to dump them.  I wouldn't use it for anything serious.  I wouldn't trade there with serious trade balances and I wouldn't try and acquire anything there.  Many of their wallets don't even interoperate with the legit blockchains for the coins so clearly those markets exist only to try and game people with trades.  That also means if you mine something obscure and want to sell it there, make sure you can actually deposit there first.  But really every time you use this exchange you are gambling so just understand that you could lose it all.

C-Cex: Another place I use for obscure coins.  I have never had a problem with it and never had to use support so I have nothing bad to say about it.  But I only really use it for more obscure stuff I can't do elsewhere.

Allcoins: Scam exchange.  They ran off with everyone's money and then like a zombie phoenix rising from the ashes they seem to have reappeared.  Oh wait, I just checked and it may be down again.  If you see anything about it stay away.

campbx: Scam exchange.  Veterans will know the name, practically no-one else will.  Stay away.  Only in business to steal your coins.

Just to mention there are other legit exchanges but I am not using them.  Bitfinex, bitstamp, etc...  Never used cryptopia or bleutrade.

Which is the best website for trading altcoins,
I know about these sites
- YoBit
- Poloniex
Anyone know some other site???

Polo has issues and may be selective scamming. Or maybe they are just too busy to respond to their clients. Yobit services falls below the minimum standards a reliable exchange should provide. You should try Bittrex.

Definitely Bittrex, it is one of the decent exchanges that has only every had a couple of issues but nothing major since I have been aware of it.  there is also another exchange that has recently popped up that might be worth keeping an eye on but bear in mind it is new so I would not trust it with tons of bitcoin just yet Bitgrail is it's name.
Bittrex becomes the best trading place today. But the only drawback is the high fee. Bittrex implements a fixed fee so for some transactions that withdraws in a small nominal it will make a little loss. I suggest bittrex as the best place to trade, a variety of trusted altcoin and have good prospects are usually here.
bancor here is the best place to share eperium tokens and transfers, but alas, is only beginning to come to life will have to wait for developers.

Just stop using yobit anymore they have a lot of withdrawals issues if you don't want to be pissed by their service and support, better to stop it right away. The 2 big exchanges platform that are popular today is poloniex and bittrex, these two are now competing. They are good for trading, its' up to you on what you will choose.

Yes, there are delays in withdrawals from Yobit but you need to be very careful with those exchange if you want to trade with them means. Always choose the best one for security and long term investment. I hope Both of these exchanges Bittrex and Poloniex are good for trading.

I'd suggest Cryptopia, but I'm also pretty bias because I work there. Personally I'd suggest doing your own compiling of a list of a few exchanges you're interested in, and then checking out their Twitter feeds and the number of complaints and scam accusations they have on this forum and a few others, and then make a decision based on what you've found.

Well, your question are answered by the people. But maybe if I may give my view for the best exchange to trade altcoins, I would say bittrex. I have tried and used Poloniex for long time enough. Good exchange with nice interface, dark background looks comfortable to stay for a long day, but I have a little bit problem with the withdraw time.
In bittrex, I have found an ease to make daily trading. It fast, simple, and also secure.

Bittrex would be another great trading site with less issues. I used to trade in Poloniex but after a lot of issues I've encountered there I then decided to transfer to Bittrex and found it to be nice and a lot of newly added coins are there too.

Bittrex is also good. For me I suggest to try the yobit and polenix site because these also provide you to give the multiple altcoins options in these sites.
Now coinbase also implemented ETH and litecoin wallet and trading options. Hope we get many more altcoins as a option to use it.

I first learned altcoin trading on poloniex and bittrex, until now i feel comfortable trading on both exchange sites.
And until now i've never had a problem with altcoin trading that i do.

There has had issues but it was just during the pumps of coins so probably those are just normal and Bittrex for me is a good exchangeing site because there are a lot of traders and good for investors. It is really good for newbies to try and experiment on it. It is also in my personal experience that it runs a good traders to traders deal. I could really recommend bittrex and im sure many will back me up here.

Use the built in search here, compile a list of exchanges that are over six months old, more like a year or more and do a little off forum research.  If you plan on FIAT/crypto exchange, that will narrow a portion of your list.

As you said, do not trust the opinions here because that is all there is here, opinions based on unsupported claims, rumors and blame for issues places exclusively on the exchanges and never on the people.

I never tried yobit but only poloniex and bittrex. I like poloniex more because they have a mobile version of their website. Otherwise both poloniex and bittrex are my favorite. Yes bittrex has more coins listed on their exchange than poloniex so a large number of traders might prefer it but I personally feel that poloniex is as good as bittrex and vice versa. Also poloniex has low fee compared to any other trading platform.

Most of the time I use Poloniex to trade. A friend of mine introduced me to Bittrex and I found some coins mentioned here in the forum that is not available in Poloniex but available in Bittrex. I haven't tried them yet.
New "stable" coins also listed on Bittrex such as LUNYR, Matchpool which is not available on Poloniex also with recent news (closed the Chatbox system and other accusations against Poloniex) makes Poloniex become doubtful and shady.

Other than yobit and poloniex, I can suggest you cryptopia and bittrex I have tried to your their platform aside from yobit when I was trading alt coin and as far as I know there are also many alt coin traders are using these trading sites .

Hello everyone

Yobit is trusted exchanger for trading altcoin some people might say that it's not a good service maybe they had bad experience with them though they're still running till this day. Poloniex is a good exchanger for me i've been using their service for a long time and don't have any problem with them, other exchangers that i recommend are bittrex and c-cex. Just avoid unpopular or new exchanger if you won't get scammed.

Yeah they really just had experienced a trouble from using yobit's platform but I was using it before when I was dealing altcoin trading so I haven't had any serious trouble just got my withdrawal of a certain alt coin delayed but still got fixed .

First off, ignore anything from most of the members here, they all have their own opinions based on their experiences.  Those experiences have good and bad results in them, that most of the people here blame solely on the exchanges and never on themselves.

There is a zero tolerance policy here apparently on taking self responsibility for your actions, so be careful, if you appear to be a decent person, you may get bad to yourself.  Try to find a good site yourself for trading.

Here already many friends suggested the best trading sites , actually all the exchange are better from the point view of the security , but still due to more and more marketing fee of them get more famouse and use by the bulk trader .
Here in my opinion the first exchange which is poloniex  then bitrex , btc-e , nova , yobit( my favourite ) , livecoin , cryptopia.co.uk etc .
These are those exchange where you should create your account .
I am saying to create your account at every exchange because of the reason that sometimes the price for the particular altcoin remain different different from.exchange to exchange , so if you have Bitcoin at the both exchange then buy at one sell at other is a good option of trading .
So instead to go with the particular exchange site , you should use every site for altcoin trading .

Judging from personal experience, Bittrex and Liqui are the best I have used so far. Bittrex is kinda fast and transactions are completed without much delays. Another beautiful thing I love about bittrex and luqui is that they are usually among the first exchange sites for listing of new Altcoins. Poloniex is also a much viable option.

I would recommend this bitcointalk forum and other cryptocurrency forums out there, if you are not looking for an automated exchange, albeit very few of them literally are. There are many There is a Alternate cryptocurrencies section right here in bitcointalk which you can exploit I think, as you can connect and trade with other altcoiners there.

The best altcoin exchange is debatable title, it greatly depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for the biggest volume then Poloniex is the best.
If you want to trade totally useless coins which will never be used outside exchange then Yobit might not be that bad.
Actually there is no best exchange for everything, you pick exchange based on which altcoins you want to trade.

For example if you want to trade DASH then maybe using https://www.bithumb.com/EN/ (an exchange with top dash volume) is not that bad idea?

I like to use Kraken, Bittrex and Cryptopia for trading Altcoins. I never really like Poloniex and Yobit, so I abandonned then quickly. As I am satisfied with the 3 mentionned I don't need any other. Unless I want to use an altcoin not listed in but I don't think it's going to happen soon

Yeah, poloniex is safe to trade altcoins. You can also upgrade to localbitcoins for your future trades.
Localbitcoins is similar like an escrow, the buyer and seller has to discuss their deal before you both start it. So, the exvhange rate is negotiable there unlike other exchangers.

Just like you I'd also like to use poloniex as trading site. I choose poloniex just because of its popularity and it is trusted. Yet, you could lend your few of your bitcoin there. However, I used various exchanger site like livecoin, bittrex and liqui because sometimes the alt that I want to trade is on other site so that I have an account on every each trading site.

Never used yobit. They kind of a have a bad reputation over here. The customer service is extremely bad and people complains a lot about them  on this forum. So it is best and safer to avoid this exchange. I used  Poloniex. It isn't very bad. Better than poloniex. So i would recommend  poloniex over yobit.

Yobit I have used frequently. But I have also seen some neg trust about it on the forum itself. But I have never gotten any problems with it over the time. The trade rates are also good and the site interface is easy to use.

However, you can also try livecoin it is also another cool exchange platform. I'm using it even more than yobit. Anyway its Upton you but both of them are making nice progress in the services. Also, livecoin is faster in transactions than yobit.

Now, for standard trading there are about four big exchanges, then, if you delve off the grid and hit some of the newer and less popular coins, like Dash, older but no one cares about it, or X coins, meaning any new coin that hits an exchange, then you will have to include a few of these other exchanges in your mix.

Hello everyone
Which is the best website for trading altcoins,
I know about these sites
- YoBit
- Poloniex
Anyone know some other site???
Yobit is trusted exchanger for trading altcoin some people might say that it's not a good service maybe they had bad experience with them though they're still running till this day. Poloniex is a good exchanger for me i've been using their service for a long time and don't have any problem with them, other exchangers that i recommend are bittrex and c-cex. Just avoid unpopular or new exchanger if you won't get scammed.
Many people don't trust yobit because there are a lot of useless coins listed on there, and don't put your money into those unknown coins. I suggest to use local exchanges as well, if you live in USA there is coinbase which listed some altcoins to trade for.
For the first time, try to trade some famous coins such as ethereum, zcash, monero, xrp or litecoin to avoid so much loss from trading useless coins.

poloniex is really fast and serve more than 40K usera at the same time!
Bittrex is a good Exchange also.
in the last months for several icoes i have tryied Liqui.io and cryptopia.
They are growing and are reliable exchanges

IMO and with experience, I feel Bittrex is a lot better than Poloniex. I have even used cryptopia and Livecoin but i wont suggest them to anyone as they have lots of shitty and dead coins. Stick with Bittrex and learn the basics, their services is great and UI is easy.

I use poloniex for trading and storing some alts, before them I usd yobit but cause of many accusations against them. I don't like their dices they are slow in almost everything and they have lousy support. I decided to change them for poloniex and for now I'm satisfied, poloniex is better then yobit, easier to use, much more faster, and  it has better options.
I didn't use other exchangers, I stick to one, for now I'm using poloniex they are good for me and my little trade's.

I came to the point that i've been so annoyed for using poloniex since lately there having some several issue's occuring on them and im so wondering about it and afraid that maybe they are showing some bad sign of running or been compromised, So for now I will just stay on bittrex since yet I really found that their security are so intense and they have some good coins who's been good to trade with.

Dude it's bad if you are aware of yobit as they are the worst sitw in terms of support and if something wrong happens it basically gone.
Poloneix is a really good exchange and idk if you are aware is the biggest exchange out there which has the most tradw volumes and there fees is also really less. You can buy at the cheapest price from this exchange for most coins. Only issue loads slowly for mobile users.
You can try out other exchanges like livecoin as it is a pretty simply interface and you can trade all the new coins over here as there listing fees is less and trading volume is pretty decent.
Finally bittrex most coins consider launching there coins on bittrex after launching on small exchanges. Never faced a single issue till now while trading.

Bittrex and poloniex would be much used exchange aince there's really a large numbers of traders and investors who played around those both exchange and if you see yobit is not recommended because of its wallet issue and slow support adding the pump and dump group all around each coins that has been added.

yobit is known as scam exchanges and still on audit, if poloniex is good enough but some of members get some problem with their withdrawal, bittrex is good enough i always trading at bittrex deposit and withdrawal always going smoothly

Along with polenix you can add the Kraken and bitfinex. These trading sites have a lot of traders on ETH, DASH, DOGE, Lite and other markets. When there is a new token coming up it’s always listed on Poloniex first and Kraken next. You can find many chinese trading exchanges has been araised and being platform altcoin trading.

Polo is now having some trouble. Many users complain about it, especially when wanting to withdraw cryptocurrency. I recommend not using polo beforehand. Bittrex is one of the best at the moment, with the support of altcoin alot I think bittrex can be a good choice. Now bittrex also has a good reputation, so do not worry your funds will be problematic.

There is a whole bunch of websites out there. A good one I know is bter which has a commercial domain. The exchange is quite smooth and has good volatility rate. I have used it multiple times and have not had any problem. I have not used cex and poloniex but have heard that they are good enough.

YoBit is not being very stable and I wouldn't recommend if you can choose another one. I would suggest you poloniex, bittrex and liqui. What you should care is what coin are you going to trade because not all these exchanges have the same coin, liqui has some new coins while poloniex adds later or after a long time sometimes.

If you can stay away with Poloniex then good look for other option, I heard there are complaints about pending BTC withdrawals from that site although I haven't encountered it yet as I use Poloniex to trade ETH, Zcash, Bitshares and StorJ. I read some good reviews about Bittrex but I haven't tried using Bittrex yet.

Every exchanges has their own pros and cons such as support feature, withdraw, or dead coins (removal).

Poloniex and Bittrex are the best exchanges out there with huge volume everyday and great support from both of them. Yobit is good but it has horrible support when you need them. Just trade on good exchanges and consider which one have good support.

I would suggest Poloniex as well as Bittrex, both are good in many things and have lots of good altcoins as well as some shitty oldcoins.
I started my trading of altcoins from Livecoin, although its not that good, it has the basic things for learning.

I'm not sure i would like to involve in tradings with dead coins, they must clean up their place.

Cryptopia surprised me with its user interface which is very pleasant, C CEX also. Bittrex and Poloniex and most secure exchanges. All others have small daily volume.

Yobit still consider as new exchanger so you must discover more about Yobit's detail and reputation before too late.
I'm usually use bittrex or poloniex as my exchanger since they are well-known and I'm never experience any problem when I use them over 3 years

Yobit is not New in this industry and im so sure about it, Here's their very own thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yobitnet-cryptocurrency-exchange-multicoin-dice-free-coins-every-1-24-hrs-914975 and you can actually see that their site has been made on year 2015 but we should avoid this site now since as you can see also they've got so many stuck problem occuring on them and DT members already tagged their account for little warning to those people who still want to trade on them.

I think its not safe to invest in yobit or poloniex i have different experience in two site.. from yobit they are delay solving any issue sometimes it takes a week or more before they can solve the issue they are not active in fixing any issue base in my experience for poloniex i experience of many login attempts to my poloniex account that honestly its not safe for me to hold bitcoin because i think they have a fully control to our coins..
And before i heard about bittrex many accounts was hack and their bitcoin gone and those people who handle their accounts they forgot to add 2fa security so if you want to trade in bittrex you should always have a 2 factor authentication just to be safe..

Every exchange has its pros and cons. Some may be good in the exchange rate but not prompt in the service.
Some may be fast but their rates are low. Do a little research on the reviews buy users about any exchange you want to use and take your decision wisely. Do not trust everything a website says without using intelligence.

- YoBit (Stay away from this – it is not good for your health and money)

I recommend Bittrex – it's good, fast enough, and the second largest exchange after Poloniex.
