I prefer EWBF and dstm. You could try and make comparison.

EWBF you can set the fee at 0, dstm has a 2% fee.  For my 5x1070 rig, EWBF is much more stable.
Yeah well the fee on EWBF isn't really 0 when set at 0... this has been checked. Also, the dev has abandoned the project it seems.
Other than that it's a solid miner for sure.

From your own experiences, what is the best miner software for mining ZEC (ZCash) with nVidia GPUs (GTX 1070s) and Ubuntu 16.04 ?

There are :
 EWBF
 NiceHash NheqMiner
 ZogMiner (perhaps only AMD GPUs?)
 NheqMiner Djezo (perhaps only Windows ?)
 Some other ?
