You can use the TREZOR hardware wallet with your online-wallet that is installed on the phone. This will be a much safer option than just using an online wallet. Here's an example on this video:

Looking for a very secure bitcoin wallet for iphone when on the go.

Anything that integrates with Ledger Nano S by chance?

Thanks.
The Ledger Nano S integration will be a great thing for a lot of people, you don't need more secure wallet if you have a hardware wallet. The best thing is that if you use android and have a Nano S, if you connect it first time (Micro USB - Micro USB OTG cable for android) successfully, and e.g. you use Mycelium, you will be able to check your balance in the app even if you don't have the hardware wallet connected. You only need to have the Nano S connected if you want to send coins or sing a message... This would be nice for the iphone as well I don't know when it will be available...

ok i just dl'd breadwallet and Another called Blockchain Wallet - which had almost 20k 4-5 star reviews.  I also have Eidoo, but is it just for ETH or can it also store BTC?

The Blockchain Wallet can hold Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH), and BitcoinCash(BCH) whereas Eidoo can only hold ETH(if I remember correctly).

I think the most secure wallet for storage of bitcoin on both Android and IOS is blockchain wallet ass it has a very user-friendly and great UI and also they have made it a combined wallet for storing BTC, ETH, and BCC which makes it a multi-functional  wallet in every aspect and at the same time easy to use.

I use coins.ph right now. It is a wallet for filipinos. It is very secured and very user-friendly. You can try it to.
Just search for others if you want for other currencies.

It's a good app, but only as a way for exchanging BTC for Philippine peso(PHP) and vice versa; and for buying mobile load. Not as a wallet for actual storing of funds. If they get compromised, you're screwed; and you risk losing all your funds.

If you don't own/control your private keys, you don't own your bitcoin

Your best bet would probably Copay[1] or BRD(previously known as Breadwallet)[2]. Both of these are secure enough in my opinion. But a huge factor for the security is on how you handle your private keys.

Unfortunately, I think the Ledger Nano S has support only for android mobile phones as of now(not 100% sure).

Here’s a few: Airbitz, Breadwallet, Green Address. I don’t know about Ledger Nano integration though.
