That was really a great step taken up a settled up popular online casino.I think other casino websites or sportsbook sites should also accept bitcoinas apart of deposit/withdrawal system as i think most of the bitcoin users uses their bitcoin to gamble more than using in shopping stuff or paying up for services

I'm absolutely sure they will request documents and do KYC. Kinda sucks.

Of-course they do, any legal online casinos would be required to collect KYC information of its clients and it is written on their terms&conditions page clearly.

Wait, so that mean that almost 99% of online casinos powered by bitcoin are illegal and are not regulated by any laws?
I would rather use my credit card to play than giving my passport or other documents to them, just to verify my age.

Yes, if they're licensed then they're required to collect KYC from all the users who play for money but here's the thing, some casinos are operated from countries where Bitcoin is not recognized as money and therefore according to the regulations, bitcoin is like a play money and hence users playing with that are not required to provide credentials.

Nice find, definitely worth sharing Smiley If we see any more of these traditional gambling sites offering Bitcoin payments,  think Bitcoin itself will certainly reach the mainstream more.
I just wish Pokerstars would some day accept Bitcoin, that would be pretty epic for sure!

Does this Betchan also allow bitcoin withdrawals?
If you used bitcoin as you payment method then you can ONLY withdraw bitcoin.

'PLEASE NOTE that for safety reasons you can use only those payment methods to withdraw funds that you've used for making a deposit earlier.'

Thanks for that info, mate.

Hmmm... kind of defeats the purpose of using bitcoin (other than speedy deposits/withdrawals) if they are going to ask for all your information and keep it on record.

I think I'll pass on this site.

Be careful with fiat casinos even if thay accept bitcoin most of them want your documment scan and thay are able to suspend your account if you win

I never played at Betchan Casino before, is it really that big of a deal that they are embraced bitcoin payments? (I mean it is always a good sign and great news)
I checked their FAQ and so far they don't mention anything of implementing Provably Fair system and lack of serious anti fraud mechanism (like PF system) is problematic for me.

Never heard about this site before, just checked a bit after reading this thread but seems that this site still needs verifications in order to play. Just created an account but when I tried to deposit, there are so many details info that I should fill before I can make a deposit.
Since this site is now accepting bitcoin, so I hope that they will give an option to play anonymously.

Yes it seems worth to share but i am also quite not familier with that name. I have seen some think like betchain ad not betchan in some bitcoin related news site.
Betchan seems larger and older casino, good news regarding adoption of bitcoin.

what is chance to win?
or it is promotions and don't make withdrawl?
thanks

That is very nice news. Do u know if they have Texas Holden poker and Caribbean poker? I hope soon every casino on internet will accept bitcoins.

As already wrote I never played there but yes: seems like they have both games you asked for.

Have a look here:

Just read on a gambling related forum that another step towards a worldwide diffusion of our beloved virtual currency took place some days ago.
Another traditional FIAT currency casino, BetChan Casino now accepts Bitcoin.

never played on that casino to be honest but read some random reviews on the net and they seemed good.

This is the disclaimer I read:

BetChan Casino offers over 1000 high quality games, fast payouts, great bonuses and, perhaps best of all, they accept the virtual currency Bitcoin! BetChan Casino gives new members a generous Welcome Package of $/€/£400 + 80 FREE Spins on Starburst, Attraction and Fruit Shop Slots.

Just thought it was worth to share here.
