I think that this all was a very giant fud, i have never believed it, i mean, there were tons of news about china and cryptocurrencies, that is why i started to suspect about thinking about that maybe this all was fake. Anyway, i still believe in that there is a minimum posibbility for cryptos to be banned by any government, we only have to wait until that happens.

Yes how China does this, while the biggest mining is there. China is only doing political issues to play the price and they succeed in doing so.

Not everything was a FUD. Even though the Jamie Dimon one obviously was FUD, most of the negative news on China were real (specifically, exchanges closing and the ICO ban). The price crash was quite big only because people were over panicking, probably expecting the price to drop to like $1500-$2000 as if the world has banned bitcoin or something.

On the bright side, all that FUD probably balanced out with the FOMO. So I think this will cause bitcoin to have more of a sort of "natural" increase in price instead of it skyrocketing because of all the FOMO.

Well, its my first time to read that there are really a waves of FUD from other members here. Maybe they are paid to sown fear here that's why a lot of investors specially those who are new to the market sold their bitcoins. It originated from China and twist and maybe there is a lost in translation along the way. And later we found out that it is fake news. But its too late already. The price has sunk to $2900. But thanks to everyone who bought it back. The market has recovered already.

The key here is deciding on your own about your trades. If you keep listening to others, you cannot control the result and undesired situations can take place for your portfolio. The people can't see this.

There was never really an issue. too much fear and not enough research is where the common trader falls apart and that will eventually be their downfall, thank God. Once most of the current fear traders have gone broke or run away scared, the the markets will feel smoother, until the next group climbs on board and tips the boat.

Chinese government has banned cryptocurrency exchangers activities and we should now see this as a great advantage for others country to became leader in cryptocurrency.

Yeah, I think thats what is going to happen because the banning is a blessing in disguise to other countries. China has all it takes to be reckoned with bitcoin but I think they have more or less allowed the opportunity to sleep by - allowing other countries like Japan to start a strong hold journey towards bitcoin. I'm equally forseeing a fight back though from China.

Though i dont see why an exchange would shut down voluntarily...

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-price-falls-to-3450-but-analysts-are-not-worried/

Forget the Chinese, forget JP Morgan they are not wothy to give our attentions to them. Moving forward lets just focus on how we earn more profit using bitcoin and altcoins. It will be an opportunity to get on board while bitcoin is now reaching $4,000. plus by the end of this year it will be $5,000 is my mark value.
I will second you without having a second thought. I thinking it is a useless debate to take about interference if China and all that stuff.

The thing which we need to pay more attention is that the market value of Bitcoin is once again rising in a very similar fashion as we have seen in the past. So we need to make a good plan for our better future.

The great news for today for me now is many people are enjoying their bitcoin now.Even though bitcoin is in volatile value I enjoy a lot because I cant get this cash to anywhere only at bitcointalk. Before,I ignore bitcoin because I dont experience yet what is bitcoin has.But now Im excited also to experience all what the bitcoiners has today. Its easy to be a millioaire at bitcoin, thats the great news for today.
I share the joy with you, today is a very happy day with the cryptocurrency community. BTC price started to rise again, are the first market stability?
That's a good sign for traders before the start of October is full of joy and hope.

$4200 barrier has been broken. With that said I''m expecting that we are going to see another massive bull run regardless of the Chinese exchanges closure. Technical Analysis shows that $4100 is a make or break to us. But we have break $4100 already so lets see if those TA would be right. We should all forgot about China now and move forward. The closure of the exchanges would affect the price.

Chinese government has banned cryptocurrency exchangers activities and we should now see this as a great advantage for others country to became leader in cryptocurrency.

And just like that, other countries would take advantage and will fill the void that China has left. That's why I said that we can go on now and move forward. Japan and the US and now leading the way in trading volumes. The losers here are not the market, but the bitcoin community in China.

With bitcoin there is nothing as a better news and bitter news in my view, because it's a speculative asset and the prediction market varies periodically. We can't complain that someone has made a mistake against bitcoin or the cryptocurrency. It's good to take it positively and act accordingly. If that's possible with an user then profiting is cent percent assured.

You can get rich when you trade bitcoin on the cryptocurrency market, but it does not mean easy to become millionaire. Have you much money? Maybe you have not much or even you are unemployed and see Bitcoin like a place to helps you have a job and work. Therefore remember, you can become millionaire when the price of Bitcoin still cheap and you can hold a huge amount of Bitcoin before it has high value. The worker like us cannot make this dream become the truth haha.

It's very promising that the price of Bitcoin and many other major altcoins is increasing lately. The big concern was the uncertainty about China combined with some negative statements from Jamie Dimon. This of course all while Bitcoin was at an all time high made us worry about how big the drop would be. While there was a significant drop, it hasn't been as bad as it could have been.

The price could still drop and we will probably see some fluctuations but it's good to see Bitcoin rise to over $4100 again and shows that investors are not easily scared away in spite of some news that is not all positive for Bitcoin.

I will wait till 5000. And buy it every day.

normal people buy in the dips and before it is out of their reach.
although $5000 is not the end but you will already be missing out on a lot of profit. just as you have missed on $1000 profit so far. when this topic was started the price took a dip during those days which made a good buying opportunity and now we are about $1000-$1200 above that price. and this will soon be $2000, $3...

I think the banned of cryptocurrency exchangers platforms in China will be a temporary one and to some extent it is good!  Bitcoin need to go mainstream and the only way we can achieve that is that governments has to see it as something important, because they have see it as something important that is why they are attacking it. Time will come when the same China will beg there exchangers to resume business.

When China find a way to regulate ICO-s everything will be fine, they just want to protect people from scams...

You know nothing about their action,
You said they're banning it because of the peoples ? It's more than that.
Everything is well prepared by them, they did it to triger the price before the hardfork.don't you think it's a bit coincide?
A month later we will facing a major change, and suddenly we heard something like this ?
In the next few months you will see a huge change in the Bitcoin price.
It's an economy and they know how to manipulate it
,absolutely right, that is also how i guess why they did that move. well i don't really know that either, but as you can see, is it really a bit coincidence right? and one thing i am really wondering, is that maybe they are planning it from the beginning. not so sure but they are not doing that to protect their people, really how would they even get advantage and earn money if the people got more money than the government? is it really how the government in China thinks? well i guess no.

China exchange regulation is the biggest contribution on why that exchange select to shut there business of but we don't know if that if final since maybe they are just listening to the happenings and maybe watching on the effects of Chinese goverment domination on these. But lets forget about them since The month is almost ending and this event cannot make bitcoins go down anymore.

"It is important for traders and investors to understand that the ultimate plan of the PBoC and Chinese regulators is to provide and offer a licensing program for exchanges, not ban trading platforms."

This may be the reason why they have to voluntarily shut down their exchange since their exchanges was listed as an ICO-Coin.
And I really wonder why people are not getting that. I guess they kept reading just the headlines and assuming what they wish to hear (negative news).

I think that this is better than the news that existed from the very beginning. The panic turned out to be false, and the Chinese government softened its attitude to the crypto currency

This was supposed to happen as china has been always confused about the trades and investment that they make in real world or virtual world. They can't make good decision about anything. They are heavy manipulation machine which uses the market as and when they want in the way they want.

The dump will be over soon anyway and yeah off course there are hundreds of the exchanges available and who cares if one exchange shuts down voluntarily or involuntarily. It's all about the time and everything will be back to normal. Who knows china might be playing with world and reopen everything once they think it's good entry point into bitcoin. Lols.

That helps explain a lot. I wonder why an exchange will close down voluntarily though. Maybe they are feeling the heat from LE or it could be that they are running at a loss? Hopefully the news filters in soon, and helps stop the bleeding. i dont mind the price staying at $3500 for a while, so that I put together enough cash to buy me some coins.

I have started to think that all these chinese fuders should be punished, one media outlet published some made up story in the name of source close to government and than one chinese trading platform announced closure of their platform for chinese pair and all bitcoin traders from around the world are in massive panic.

New bitcoin investors are the one who will dump their holding when there is small dump or panic in the market. Whales are silently grabbing cheap cryptos.

I am holding all my bitcoin tightly....

They're being so smart right now. Personally I don't think we have something to worry about on the long term, China is once again steps ahead of everyone and probably accumulationg loads of bitcoin and other crypto for a cheap price. In a couple months a solution will come and people will stop worrying about this.

'...will simply lead traders to the Japanese market, which has been efficiently regulated by the government over the past 12 months'

That is something I am assuming as well.
Chinese citizens might have a problem registrating at the japanese exchanges, but for the rest of the world bitcoin trading will go on.
Japanes has seen the problems China has and solved them through regulations before they became a problem in Japan.
It might take a little for the public opinion to notice it, but Japan will become (perhaps already is) the new center for bitcoin tradings.
